Yes!!!! I have been looking for a video like this for a whole year lol I’ll be taking some ideas for my own space. Thanks for sharing!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that brush.
Love this. Som many great ideas I'm going to start implementing into my own storage area! Glass is a great idea that I never would have thought about.
The glass table top? it's great. acetone resistant for the win! has held up for years.
I am in love with your organization.
This was SO good wow!! So clean and organised! Thankyou so much for the video! It all looked beautiful 💞💞
Thanks Monique! I have actually built a new desk since then which I may share soon :) xx
Thanks heaps, you inspired my setup. I purchased the rice cooker, pedicure chair, lamp, dust collector and other kmart bits. I purchased cheap products from Wish initially and then discovered you and your awesome recommendations. I still love Wish. But am so happy with my new purchases. Really appreciate the clear simple videos. Where did you get the bit and paint brush holders from please?
I have nail desk envy!!! 😫😫 Where do you get your little tubs from? (The ones with your client files in? And where’s your utensil tray from? Xx
The rectangular tubs were from the storage area of a local department store for about $1 each! The utensil 'tray' is actually the LID of a larger storage bin! ha ha
I like your desk where did you purchase?
Hello. Does the portable desk fan work well?
My new table from PSOA doesn’t have a built-in one.
So I’m going to have to buy a portable one.
It’s kind of nice to see a studio tour that doesn’t have 5000+ dollars worth of product sitting on shelves.
Hi there, the cheaper E-Bay one works better than the more expensive one I showed. But if you're willing to invest even more, a portable Valentino (or equivalent) or something similar would probably be your next step up. I think it's a lot do with the angle and shape of the fan to be honest to capture the most dust as possible as it naturally falls.
Do you rinse the nail files and buffers after being air dry?
i wanna star doing nails, which do you think it's better to apply the color? colored acrylic powder, dipping powder or polish? x
I don't do dipping, or believe in it. Start with polish application as this can be used for both natural nails and extensions. Once you have mastered basic acrylic application and structure, then you can move into using coloured acrylics - It's a whole other skill level :)
Hey very useful video can you shear trys links of all the trays place
Hi, where did you buy the glass for your desk? I just bought a new desk and I wouldn’t want to damage it with nail products😔. Love your nail station😍😍😍 new sub.
Hi Eli, I just took the measurements to my local glazier. They did it the same day :) Glass is always a little bit of an investment but when you're working with acetone etc, it's so worth protecting your desk space.
One tip you should get a chair with no wheels because when your working on someone they tend to move and they might mess you up and you would have to start over!!
Hi Heather, yes you're right. I would like to change to a stationery chair at some point but have trouble finding one the perfect height. Office chairs are so much more customisable height wise for now :)
@@nailnovice8781 because I think the stool isn't appropriate.. It may cause back pain, don't you think....thanks tho. Great video
Nice tour! How do you get the smell out your house?
Hi Elizabeth, my salon is in on the lowest level of our multi storey house. It has a separate entrance and is somewhat separate from our main house so not an issue like it may be if you were using a spare bedroom in the middle of your living space. Always have ventilation when working with monomer though :)
@@nailnovice8781 oh okay!I have heard about activated charcoal tables but I can't seem to find them.I may have to look for the actual stand up ones.Sometimes the ac alone doesnt pull it all out.
Hi. How easy/ difficult do you find it to clean up or maintain black manicure table. I am a beginner, I don't do acrylic, and I am getting a black table on discount. I was planning on the white one as its easy not to notice nail dust etc and also for background for reverse stamping. An early response will be highly appreciated! TIA
Hi there! I used to have a black table and it does show dust and spills more but, your desk will be getting a thorough clean in between every client anyway so... it's no big deal! In regards to reverse stamping, I wouldn't be using your desk surface to do this. Grab yourself a single tile or manicure mat for art bits and mixing colours as your desk will always have nail filings and dust etc on the surface during a service.
@@nailnovice8781 Thank you. That is so helpful! Can you pl help me with the width of the table. The one I ordered is 25.6 inches wide ( that is 65 cm). Will it be too difficult to do manicures properly with this width? I intend to put hand rest in the middle but not sure whether or not will it be comfortable for client and for me. Please help with your experience in the field. I have a chance of cancelling the order at the time of delivery. After that Ill have to keep it.
@@divm8559 My table is approx. 50cm between me and client. Transportable manicure tables are approx. 47.5cm. I do sometimes find 50cm a tad too wide but enjoy the extra work space it provides :) it's most important that YOU are comfortable while working. You are positioned there all day. The client is only there for a couple hours at most ;)
@@nailnovice8781 Thank you so much. I think i must cancel this one then. Really appreciate your response. Thanks again!
Great video. It's been very helpful.🙂
Thanks Lisa. Have just uploaded Pedicure area tour too - go and check that out! :)

@@nailnovice8781 where do u find the color nail choice thingy ?? Plzz answer
Hey! Just wondering where you got your dropper for your Dadi Oil??
The largest dadi oil bottle (the bulb shaped one) comes with both a dropper and brush option in the box :) given recent events, i find the dropper more hygienic
@@nailnovice8781 ah awesome I did not know that!! Yeap.. definately way more hygienic 😊
Thanks alot x I'm a fellow Kiwi, what site do you purchase your Dadi oil from? I'm a qualified beauty therapist fyi
hey , wondering where did you get your desk ??
Kayana Jones Idk where hers is from but I have a similar one from ikea
Where is the desk from
where did you purchase your table?
Hi serhat, this is just a standard desk / table off a local auction site :)
Me encanta
Hi I would like to know where you got your 4 drawer system from?
Any office store should have something similar. It actually came with our house!
Do you have a link or anywhere else that the desk lamp is available ?
I have now added the amazon link to where I purchased from in the description box :)
May I ask where the 4 white drawer is from.

I see you prefer a chair without a back. Is it comfortable or more so than a regular chair?
Lela Robinson When it comes to my chair, only beautician stools have a high enough gas lift on them for what I need and the backed ones tend to be smaller seated and harder. So long story short, I opted for big, round and squishy for comfort :)
NailNovice oh ok! I have a very large bottom so that probably would be a good option for me. Where did you get it? Website?
Is it just me or her voice over sounds like when you're on a plane and they need to say something but ngl it's nice
The sound is so bad!
When I’m older this is exactly what I want to do! Love your layout 💖
Thanks Ella x
I've been doing nails from home for 10 years and it's awesome. No boss, no bullshit.
