How do I find my games resolution? I set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 Fullscreen and set the transform values and i set it to 960 and 540 and its not working
@@crunchyoghurt i guess u can find it in your files or use the ruler in godot.. for me I tried the ruler but it didn't match so I just went the lazy way and guessed :p
Mine only generates the loop after the player has crossed the mirrored boundary, so there is blank space until you run across that point. Also, what about bigger screen sizes? Whenever I go full screen I get similar issues.
Now if you run the game its...ᵍᵒʳᵍᵉᵒᵘˢ
😂 he just walked away from his pc cause he knew the tutorial was so concise and to the point he didn't need to finish his sentence
Nicely done, came here from reddit, loved the parallax. I used to do it in Unity but recently learning Godot so this was helpful, good work!
That's cool
Thank you!!! it was really helpful. It still works for godot 4.2!!!
Extremely fast and easy, thank you!

Thanks ❤️
You skipped the part where you cnahged the foreground layer, i think in the transfor menu.
why is my background not moving along with my character?
I have no idea... What exactly did you do
You say to set the position to half your game resolution but where can you find this information ?
Project settings, window or something like that
theres no parallaxBackground for me,any ideas ?
What version of Godot are you on?
Nyccccccccc. Thank you.
Thank you
How do you ensure that the foreground is actually layered on top of the rest?
Put it down in the node tree
set its Z index ridiculously high, like 10, and make sure you layer any elements in your game below that
ParalaxBackground inherits CanvasLayer so you can set its layer property any number higher than 0
love it
Thanks!
