Lena - You had me at stainless steel. My wife and I are pushing 70 years of age. The bulk of my time being spent as a photographer (back in the 'silver' emulsion world), and my wife, in Central Supply and Sterilization, at the local Hospital, so we both have a profound respect of Stainless Steel (SS).
Long story short (good luck), but a few years ago, I was gifted some dark gray lids, of the wide mouth sort, that when in action, were much more 'tight' than the rest of the crap, commonly available.
Thus, I was looking for them, and I eventually found you, Lena. As said, you had me at Stainless Steel. I have more questions, but I am exited, of the moment.

I garden with a 87-year-old and a 75-year-old. Both vegans and in amazing shape. :-) At 48 they’re fun to keep up with :-) it’s funny you put up this video and 75-year-old called me this morning asking if I knew a place to get good sprouting lids. I had to laugh I know someone that makes really good ones. So I will be ordering him a set today. If your travels bring you back to America I would love for you to see his garden 5 acres a beauty.
