Hey Pokemon Champions, what's going on?! It's Champion Blaze here and Ash's companions have caught some interesting and iconic pokemon during their time in the Pokemon anime. But many of them don't have full teams like Serena and Clemont. But what if they did have full teams? Today I'll give my thoughts on the full teams each of Ash's friends should have (if they at least have 3 pokemon).

They really shafted alot of ash’s companions just by not giving them full teams of six Pokémon, they all deserve just as much spotlight as ash does, and that’s something I would like to try and work on for my own rewrite series of the Pokémon anime on my channel.

Sure, but not all of them benefitted from having a full team because of their goal.
Like, especially for Brock in Hoenn and Sinnoh, he was just kinda there to support Ash and May/Dawn, so he didn't need a full team.
Unova, Cilan and Iris didn't really need a full team either at that point, since they only supported Ash, they didn't actively have an own goal that warranted them needing a full team.
Aside from Kiawe, the same bascially goes for Lana, Mallow, Lillie and Sophocles as well.
For Brock, i would swap out Cubone for Rhyhorn - which then evolves into Rhyperior in Sinnoh.
For Cilan, i would swap out Breloom for Maractus (Which makes more sense considering Cilan is a coinesseur and all).
For Serena, i would swap her Gardevoir out for Furfrou (Serena being all into dress up, Furfrou makes a lot of sense for her) + Gardevoir gets enough exposure as is, with it being Diantha's ace and all and Diantha being a semi-recurring character as well.
For Clemont, i would not give him Ampharos at all, not even for borrowing, since Ampharos doesn't even seem to be a fighter, more used by Meyer for work than anything. I would give him a Manectric, since that is basically the only other option for Mega Evolution in terms of Electric types.
For Kiawe, he kinda bonded with a Rapidash in the Kanto episode, so i would swap out Talonflame for Rapidash (I am not a big fan of Ash and companions sharing the same Pokemon if at all avoidable).
Also - where are Sophocles, Lillie, Lana and Mallow
Sophocles - Togedemaru, Vikavolt, Plusle and Minun, Ampharos (As Clemont doesn't have it) and Electivre (As a rival to Kiawe's Magmortar).
Lana - Primarina, Vaporeon, Cloyster, Milotic, Bruxish, Pelipper
Mallow - Tsareena, Bellossom, Alolan Exeggutor, Cherrim, Lilligant, Shiinotic
Lillie - Alolan Ninetales, Jumpluff, Espeon (Because her brother has Umbreon its kinda fitting), Altaria (Bonded with her ride Pokemon, after which it let her catch it officially), Audino, Froslass (As a counter to Ash having Glalie).

Serena Kanto Pokémon (If she travelled to Kanto to see Ash again during Indigo): Eevee, Jigglypuff, Oddish, Poliwag, Venomoth, Pikachu (Female.)
My opinion for Serena’s full team is

Technically Brock could've caught Ninetales during Johto. There was an episode where one mistook him for it's deceased master

I would swap out Pikachu and Azumarill for Serena. Her having a Pikachu makes her way to similair to Ash and i would prefer her getting more Kalos Pokemon as well. Furfrou (With its hair thing) and Vivillon make the most sense for her. While Altaria is a good shout, Mawile is also there as a possibility for her to get.

Either give her dragon types to keep her type speciality consistent, or don't have her specialise in anything at all

Yeah ignoring evolution is stupid
Likely because Pangoro probably wouldn’t fit in with her Pokémon Contests, and frankly, it just wouldn’t fit in with Serena’s character overall.
Pokémon Contests are to showcase the appeal of a trainer’s Pokémon. It isn’t like training Pokémon for a Pokémon League or in competitive battles in general. With Serena’s style and career path, as well as Pancham’s character, evolving it into Pangoro just wouldn’t work with her character, or her Pancham’s either.
You gotta remember she’s a Pokémon Performer/Coordinator. She doesn’t compete in Pokémon Leagues, and isn’t aiming to become regional champion like Ash and his rivals.
Because I didn’t feel Pangoro would match with a Serena’s personality nor be that well suited for performances
No it’s not. I’d rather focus on the Pokémon itself fitting with their trainer and goals then just giving the character the evolved form just because
Because to evolve Pancham, she would need a Dark type
