- This BIG GDevelop gamejam had over a thousand people join! In this video, we go over the community voted games, some honorable mentions, and finally the judges' picks. Game developers from all over the world came together to create games using the theme: Unstable. They created so many great games that we couldn't begin to fit them all in to a single video.

Congratulations to all winners and to the people who were able to participate in this game jam! Everyone did an amazing job in making their own unique games, and I’m glad to be part of it and to also be able to play some of them! I learned a whole lot in this game jam, and I was also able to create a prototype of my dream game (which is just a good ol’ rhythm game) and also got a ton of helpful feedbacks on how to improve it.
Anyways, congrats again to everyone and to all winners! 🎉
can you make the shaders for gdevelop, every game engine needs shaders, even godot has shaders "Godot Shaders" pls add it "GDevelop Shaders"

First, I think the basic effects in GDevelop could use a glow-up. Stuff like the outline and glow effect could look nicer.

Yeah, this was my first gam jam, and I guess I didn't make it visible that my game has a leaderboard and mobile controls.

I entered then started 2 days late and scope creep creeped in and now I am half way done with a project meant to take 6 days to complete.
I didn't think something like Unstable Dungeon was possible in Gdevelop.

I liked all 2D games for their technical complexity. Pandako's one isn't so but it wins due to Pandako's fantasy and originality. 3D games are awesome because they show what GD is able to do with it. Nice to see Spine too. Wonderful Game Jam, compliments.

how do you join a game jam?
If the jam is being hosted on itch, you just press the "join" button on the page. And then you make and submit your game during the time limit set by that jam. 👍

We try to announce them well ahead of time on our socials, with email, and with a banner in engine for the jam.

Man all these games seem awful except bird and bones. either the judges and community lack any taste at all or it was all just the lowest grade shovelware type stuff. Definitely not encouraging me to use GDevelop.
