I'm one of the devs from Fish Out the End! Thanks so much for playing our game! We really enjoyed the jam and we plan on giving the game a full polish and Steam release in a few months!
I didn't play any games from the jam, but your game looks super polished! Love the voice memos, and when Brackeys explained how you gradually introduced the meteor with the dot in the sky and then the voice notes talking about it, I thought that was just so awesome! Some incredible storytelling right there!
Oh I made Crystal Mole! It's a bit unreal to see my game featured in a Brackeys video, when years ago I was learning how to make games thanks to Brackeys. It means a lot. Congrats to everyone who participated, the jam was super fun! (And I completely agree that moving horizontally in the game is hard, if I had gotten a little bit more time I would have added a jetpack or some platforms)
I didn't play any games from this jam, but your game looked awesome! It looked polished, and it was very cool to see the cutscene where the camera pans to the rest of the mess you've gotta pack up, and how the timer drops down and the music changes. Love that sort of cinematic thing
Hey, the dev of Storm Grill is here! I actually started my game dev journey with your tutorials as well! I still remember the moment when I showed my cube racing game (which I made following your tutorial series, with some tweaks) to my friends and learnt how incredible it feels to create something that other people enjoy. It's even an more incredible feeling to see a game of mine featured in a video :) Also looking forward for the Godot content!

@@VictorPitchPlays It's actually based on an 80s anime series called "Legend of the Galactic Heroes", which in turn was based on a series of novels by the same name written by Yoshiki Tanaka. My title references the first movie in the series called "My Conquest is the Sea of Stars" and alludes to the opposition in philosophy that the characters in my game are discussing.
Hey, this was my first jam where I used Godot! I didn’t make a particularly good game, or full one, or even fully finish the gameplay loop….but I did learn a ton about GDScript and the engine and nodes! Thanks for hosting, Brackeys! It was a blast.

One of the reasons I became so invested in pursuing games Development as a college degree was channels like this. I'm actually actually in my last year now. Hopefully getting work placement in spring as well 🙏
I just started learning godot a month ago, now I learned that making a game is as addictive as playing game. and learning every day as I develop my 1st game project is super rewarding especially if I implemented my idea successfully into my game.
i'm so glad you're back I made a game for the jam called Bloodstrom and I didn't get to add everything I wanted, but I'm still super proud of it! looking forward to more game jams because of this :D
Back in 2020, I started coding and wanted to be a game developer, watching your videos and trying out things as I progressed. Now I am studying in college and currently working as a full-stack engineer for a local company. I just want to say that your influence has made my progress into programming more enjoyable. Thanks, Brackeys. Happy to see you hosting game jams still. You are the goat, man. I hope you never need to leave content creation ever again.
Thank you for the godot tutorial. I started game dev with PyGame a year ago, in September, and your tutorial helped me make the jump to an actual game engine.
Long time fan, I love that you guys are still doing Game Jams and tutorial content -- just wanted to chime in that not everyone has jumped ship from Unity -- they have really come around and are being reasonable to the community again, both in terms of licensing and new functionality, and it still really is a great game engine, still the best choice for C# development, in my humble opinion -- I would love to see you guys get back into more Unity tutorial content if it's something you're willing to do. -- Much love for whatever you guys do in the future. 🙂
It always makes me happy seeing a new video from you! Congrats to everyone who submitted to the Jam, and extra congrats to the winner! Looking forward to the your next tutorial.
0:20 and it's called crunch, an illness that every game developer have. I stopped doing short 3 days game jams because I had a bad experience with crunch... I love your energy Brackeys! Thanks for the organization of the game jam and for this awesome video to review some of the cool games it fostered. Looking forward to your new content, be blessed!
I'm happy with the small game I created this jam. It's rough to be completly solo and do all art music and coding yourself! Play "an elder's quiet day" if you want to test my game! 😊
I don't know what it is exactly, but your videos just hit in some specific way which isn't true for other creators. It's just pure joy and feeling like a kid again while watching. Keep it up man 🔥
Man, my favorite game out of the ones in this video has to be Pack it Up. I love how the game starts really chill and easy but then all of a sudden it throws a bunch of objects at you and how quickly the pressure builds up how many clocks there are.
