These were so hyped at first release, now barely hear anything about these anymore. Used to be long waitinglists for this model

Tbh this seems to be the case with a lot of Tudors, I remember with the original Black Bay GMT it was the same 6 months of big hype then no waitlists or premiums - but that’s why I like reviewing these once the hype is down so it’s not as tainted by hype :)

Fine vid! I have to have a 12 totalizer and I do not like the 45 min. dial either. I’m an old pilot and I know what those dial thingys are for. A 30 min (traditional…it measures Way Points which are almost never longer than 30 min. apart, VFR or IFR. ) The missing 12 hr. dial is for total fuel burn. Fuel gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info! I actually have a video of the IWC Pilots watch in the pipeline so I’ll definitely mention that when explaining the registers :)

Add a third 12 hour sub dial, lose the date and that Daytona waiting list would suddenly be a lot shorter.

Oooh now that would be bold of Tudor to take the fight straight to Rolex like that, but we could be closer to that than ever (though maybe still with a date) now with that new chronograph movement they developed for the onlywatch piece...i'm sure that'll find its way into regular production soon enough and with all 3 registers front and center :D
