ALL of Connie's videos are great. Seriously, take time to watch each of them....sometimes more than once when working on a project. They are always full of little hints that, even though I may have done the technique many times, the reminders never hurt.
Connie, I’m so glad you are doing these videos!! I miss the days of learning from you at Martha’s Licensings and Schools and Sewing at the Beach!! No one better explains the how and why of sewing! ❤❤
I can’t thank you enough, Connie! I have avoided this technique for years due to fear of frustration. Now I’m ready to start my first dress with scalloped hem😊
Very informative video. Did not know about the water soluble thread. But question, how do I match the scallops to the skirt to be sure scallops at side seams are the same size of the others scallops? Hope that makes sense.
I appreciate how thorough this video was. I'm a young mom of a toddler and newborn so I don't have time for lengthy videos and usually skip through. I didn't with this video and I'm glad because I learned a LOT!
I thought it was "Press till dry" but same idea.....one time at SOAF, between the school and the pre-days. we had 3 different ways to do Madiera applique taught. One was Connie's, one was Charlotte, and I don't remember who was the third.

Thank you Connie. I wish I knew you all my life. I love learning from you. Sewing full time in retirement!
SO helpful! Thank you! After 30 yrs of intimidation- I’m going to try it! 😍
Thank you so much for this easy to follow video. I’ve always been afraid of this technique but now I’m eager to try it!!
Thank you so much I have several of your tutorials and you have helped me so much
Thank you Connie! Love your videos!! 🎉❤

Another amazing video and technique brush up! Miss you!
Thank you so much for sharing this technique! I have been sewing since I was 10 years old, but I have never done any type of heirloom sewing.
Another amazing Connie. I appreciate you!

Thank you. Loved learning it from Martha Pullen. I will save this !!!
Thanks for the refresher Connie
Hi Connie. This is a fabulous video. Everything explained so well. Looking forward to the pin stitch video
Thank you
Thank you so much!❤
Love this!
Absolutely love this! How do you measure to make a pattern/template of the scallops to do this on any dress skirt?

Good question!I will address that next!

This is so helpful! How would I do this on a curved skirt? Like a circle skirt where the bottom edge isn't straight?
Press and dry, press and dry, press and dry or you will cry. Remember that from Martha's licensing, Connie?

Well it has been a while since I learned that little ditty. So you are probably right!!!
Thank you
