If I use this technique on an heirloom batiste baby daygown, can I use the Elmers glue as well? What happens when the gown is washed? Thanks for this video. I have wanted to do this for a long time but this is the first clear video I've seen to explain it.
+lucinda padgett It depends on the type of machine you have. If you have a metal bobbin case, the tension screw is the flathead screw (not the Phillips screw with an "X" screw top). If you have a top loading bobbin, you have to remove the plastic bobbin case and the tension setting screw is the one with the flat head screw. Think of the tension setting screw as a clock and loosen or tighten the tension as needed by turning the screw in 5 minute increments. Remember, Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey.
