    My favorite way to use the Denman is on a refresh day, like day 3 or 4, and finger coil on my wash days 😉

    Girl!!! I love both on you.
    Me on the other hand... I spend and hour or more finger coiling. I love the result but my arms kill me on the most important part. (The top layer).

    The clumps from denman brush depends on how wet is your hair during styling and also how thick layers you’re taking on the brush at once. I’m using the 7 rows, and it’s the easiest and the fastest way for me. Finger coiling is no no for myself…. My hands are dying in the middle off the process. 🙈 And also you don’t want to brush your hair with gel on, it’s kinda make weird pulling in your hair(they’re more resistant and tangly), you’re better off just going with leave in and styling cream, shake(shaking hair after denman make them clump beautifully, just grab them at the root and gently shake) towel scrunch, and than at the end scrunch the gel in. You’ll thank me later! 😘👩🏼‍🦱❤️

    I think the finger coiling side looks more defined and would hold up more if that is what you prefer. I prefer the Denman brush personally, but I have a tighter curl and fine hair that doesn't frizz a lot on its own.

  • @gabbyitis
    @gabbyitis 3 роки тому +6

    If you were to remove some of the rows on the Denman brush you would get thicker clumps.

      Yes! That was my thought too! I also saw they carry one where the bristles are more spread out and has only 5 rows, so I may try that as well!

    I really like both sides. I think the denman does have more volume, frizz and elongation, while the finger coiled side has more is more defined and shiny.

    Tons of people have probably told you this, but if you take out rows on the Denman brush it helps with the “piece-ness”
    But regardless, your curls always look amazing!

    To get a different result from brush styling, it's more about how you use the brush than the brush itself. If I brush horizontally, I'll get bigger clumps. Using a lot more water will achieve that, too. I have an original Denman but I like the weight of the Pattern one 1000x times better. Alexa's Curls also has a very clumpy result from how she uses a denman brush.
