For many years, I worked labour and delivery and would take care of the infants that couldn't stay. I would bathe them, dress them, take hand and foot prints and locks of hair. Other nurses would ask how I was able to do this, and I would say, "The very best gift I could give these lost babies was dignity in death." Your cat died knowing she was loved. What better gift could you give her? Rest in paradise.
My heart goes out to you and to Kitty. Sorry for this sad loss in your life. Kitty was so fortunate to have had your loving heart and tender care in her last days and she came to you because she knew your kind soul. The world needs more Miro's.
Sorry to hear about the kitty. 😢 Death is always just a sad thing, no matter the age or how long they’ve been with you. Sounds like you made her last days as comfortable and full of love as possible, and that’s the important thing. ❤
Miro, I was wondering about your absence and if everything was okay. So saddened to hear about the loss of your cat companion. You did the best you could to help her. May you find comfort in that. She was able to die knowing she was loved by you.
I was a vet tech for 10+ yrs so I know how hard you worked to care for her. I want to say THANK YOU for giving her the truest form of unconditional love. At a time when most strays will hide & pass away alone, YOU gave her love & warmth and the best care you could and she was NOT alone when she moved on. What a gift! I'm also glad you took the time you needed to mourn. It's so hard losing an animal that has wrapped themselves around your heart. I had to put all 4 of my cats to sleep over the years & I was there to hold my childhood dog as she went. This was years ago and I'm still not over it. So if a day comes and it hits you out of the blue, just know that we will all still be here when YOU are ready.❤🙏🏽
It is quite sad :/ I did put off youtube for quite a while, the videos are not exactly in real time - except for this one. So I think it's time to get back into chores now :)
Aww I was wondering if you were going to tell her story. You took such good care of her and made her final days as peaceful as they could be. She was so lucky to have you and you have a little angel by your side now. This video had me in absolute tears. I've grieved many pets and you never really "get over it" but you just kind of get used to them not being around anymore. It always take me quite a while to start feeling better. Hopefully you heal faster than I do. I was so happy to see a new video, but everyone needs to take a break now and then. Much love as always. R
Oh, I am sorry that it made you cry! :( Yes, even though we talked about it in Discord, I felt it would be ingenuine to "come back" and not say what has happened, especially since it will clearly be visible for perhaps a bit more that the vibes are off. Thank you
Had no idea that you were such a compassionate person. I am tremendously touched by this. We all know that the last days of life are difficult for caregivers no matter if it is people or pets they are caring for. I think you are a wonderful human being for what you did for that cat. Plants are so much easier to tend to. No tears when they go.
@BasiePlants Here goes... I named my Hoya carnosa 'Wilbur Graves,' after you. I hope you don't mind... 😅 I've been delighted with its first bloom and the accompanying scent. It's gorgeous!
It was my first Hoya that I received as a 5 leaved cutting about a year ago. Since then, I've gained 11 others, some owing to your recommendations. I have H. Globulosa (Cao Bang), another 'Wilbur Graves' (China), 2x Sigillatis, Lockii (which I love!), Heuschkeliana variegata, 2 x Mathilde (one more splashy than the other), Bella (a bit 'meh'), Rosita (sent by mistake), and a Parviflora which was a freebie gift cutting! Anyway, I hope that you're feeling a bit better. See you soon! ☺️
I think that the cat chose to spend its final moments with you because of the love and care you always gave. It found a peaceful place to say goodbye, surrounded by your pretty plants.
Miro, I'm so sorry. Let me take this opportunity to thank you for all the joy (and hoyas) you bring into my life. Wishing you the best over the coming days of grieving
So sorry to hear about your loss. Pet loss is terrible and can be for some more painful than losing a relative for. Some in some instances . I hope you’re okay and thank you for your real and honest self and content. It’s appreciated. 😢❤
I am okay :) It's been some time and I took some time off too. Having bunch of plants that need my care is also helpful as much as it is annoying lol. But it's good to get back up on your feet :)
@@BasiePlants I’m glad your okay and that the plants are of some extent a distraction. Wishing you well 🤲🏼. Looking forward to more content on your new camera set up.
So, so sorry to hear about your fur baby. It truly sounds like you gave her the best care and the most love she had ever had for her entire life. You are so kind for taking care of her all that time. I’m sure she knew just how much she was loved by you when she passed. 😿
When using the plastic cups. I've learned to put 2 holes in the bottom and 2 holes as close to the bottom like 1/8 th of an inch. Because the bottom can seal up sitting flat but water can escape the side holes.
Miro, I am so sorry about your cat. Don’t be sad. She lived long life and had people that took good care of her on her last days. This is the most precious. 🪽
Oh Miro, from a fellow cat lover , i'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for loving her all these years and taking care of her of her and giving her a safe place to transition ❤ she's your angel kitty now .
You're a good sole Miro! I'm so very sorry for your loss, I hope you know what you did for this kitty, death sucks but you helped her when she needed it most, and she passed knowing love! xoxoxo ❤
Oh, Miro, I'm so sorry. My sweet dog turned 7 in July and since then has developed serious heart disease. I don't know what's going to happen with him day to day. But you loved her, and she knew you loved her. I think that's everything.
Thank you dear Miro for helping your neighbourhood kitty when she was homeless and injured . I know palliative care is really heartbreaking , I thank you for easing her suffering and offering her safety and comfort when she needed you . I think you made a good nurse , and I thank you for your kindness to neighbourhood kitty . Shame to her owners family for neglecting her. Sorry your beloved hoyas got neglected . I am glad hoyas can be started over
I sadly think the owner passed away and she was just caught in some misforture there. She was always an outdoor cat though, something I don't prefer. But everyone here has that mindset - that cats & dogs should be kept outdoors. I mean, if you'd only hear the views from my family... they'd made you climb the walls lol.
My sweet Maxx she had renal failure and at the end I was doing subcutaneous fluids hoping to flush her kidneys but when she didn’t eat I knew she was telling me it was time.. She has been gone for 2 years and I miss her soo much. But now I have a crazy boy named George.. You are a beautiful special human and I am glad to know you ❤
Oh, I am sorry to hear you went through it too :( It is sooo common. Sub Q fluids are not an option here, they are illegal in most of Europe from what I read - some vets in UK may agree to it, but in some other countries there are very strict laws. A bit ridiculous since for some it may be the only way. But everything was done that was possible. I am sorry about you Maxx
Thank you very much Miro. She left this world know that you love her very much and gave your best to make her as comfortable as possible. sending you lots of love from. Australia. ❤
Miro thank you for taking care or the cat, all these years , you are beautiful. to your friend Alex also big thanks. congratulations for the new camera.🌼🌼🌼🐾
I too have grieved many pets over the years. Some just wiggle their way into your heart. 😢 But I would not give up the chance to know, care and love the dogs and cats that have shared my life. Thank you for sharing your story, all your stories. Take care of yourself.
This is the first video I've seen of yours in over a year (thank you youtube algorithm 😒) and it had me in tears. Thank you for caring ao much for sweet kitty, I'm so sorry you went through it all, but she obviously realised you were a kind caretaker to her for her final months ❤❤❤
Sorry to hear the sad news. You did a great job taking care of her and I’m sure she appreciated you doing that for her. Thank you for sharing the news with us. We are here for you. You take as much time to heal. She just wasn’t someone cat or a stray cat. She was someone to you. ❤ sending you hugs
Haven't watched the video yet. Just wanted to say I'm happy you are back!💚💚💚 I watched half of it now. I'm so sorry to hear about that sweet cat. You were right to take the time off. 1000 hugs from Munich!!!
Hi Miro, you gave that cat the only things she needed - love and care and that is the most important. And thanks for being authentic. I guess it was one of your the most important asset that helped you grow this channel. It is always a pleasure to watch your videos sooo please carry on. Cheers from Poland 🇵🇱 Bartek
I would like to see you take photos and see you compare to iPhone photography. Please please. Edit: I commented prior to seeing sweet gray kitty’s story. I’m so sorry for your loss. You and Alex tried your best to save her little life and give her the best last days she could wish for. You’ll carry that with you after some time passes. Peace.
I’m so sorry Miro. I had to put my cat to sleep 3 months ago bc of a similar situation so I know how much it hurts. But you did everything you could, you’re the best that could have happend to her. And she reall appreciated you :)
Oh, I am sorry you had to go through that and to have to make that decission. Sadly, the same decission was approaching for me too, that became clear to me. In a way, it was a bit easier that she went by herself.
I’m so sorry. You are a sweet and good person. The kitty knew she was loved ‘til the very end. I hope you find comfort in knowing you did your best. We need more people like you. Sending lots of love your way. 🫶🏼🌈
So sorry to hear about the passing of your sweet furry friend. Cats are the best. I am sure she was happy that she had you to take care of her near the end of her life. Nice to have you back!
I'm so sorry to hear about the kitties passing. Bless you for taking care of her and trying so hard to help her in her final days (thank you Alex too). I'm sure she was comforted by your love and presence during that time. She obviously came to you because she trusted you and knew how big your heart was. Don't feel bad for not putting out a video because being present for the lives of others that are with us is far more important. You did exactly what you were supposed to do. ❤❤🩹❤
The world is more beautiful for people like you. Thank you for everything that you have done and the new camera is nice! Of course keen for the hoya phototherapy video!
Much love and hugs. You are a big heart and thank you for taking such exquisite care of that cat. 🐈 I’m sorry for your pain going through that ❤️🩹❤️🩹
Oh Miro, I had a feeling something was up with you. I am so sorry for your loss. Although your plants suffered you did the best and rightest thing by easing the life of the beautiful gray cat. You and your friend Alex are to be commended.
Miro, I am sorry for your loss. Time has no factor in those that touch our lives be they animal or person. She was very blessed to have you to care for her.
😢I'm so sorry Miro. This proverb has brought me comfort in the past: ‘The righteous one takes care of his domestic animals...’ -Proverbs 12:10. Such a sad experience you endured. I'm so sorry you lost your new pet... she looked like such a cutie and you loved her when she needed you most.
@@BasiePlants yes, i know. I will send you a new lucky cutting....i don't know the shipping costs from germany to serbia?!😅 come, visit me in Bavaria or i will visit you in serbia and we can have a fun time together talking about plants 🤣 And you can take a big Lisa back to serbia....and learning german
I'm so sorry for your loss ❤ you really did everything you possibly could have, and more than many people would have considering she wasn't even "your" cat to begin with. I totally agree with the others here - she chose to come to you because she knew she would be loved and cared for in her final days ❤ you are a GOOD person ❤
So sorry to hear about the kitty. I still remember her from ur trellis making video. Was in tears listening to the situation. But u have done so much for her. U are such a pure soul. She is pain free now..she was so fortunate to have u by her side during her last days.
I should have watched before committing. So sorry for what you have endured. We also have a neighborhood kitty 100 % would have done the same . You do not owe us an explanation of your absence really hope the best for you.
This just has me in tears. Both of my collies will be 12 at the end of November, if they make it that long. It’s so hard and I’m sorry for your loss. We can just love them while they are with us and help them go to heaven with dignity and care. I was there when my girls came into the world and I’ll be there when they leave it. 🥰 😇 But it is going to be so hard.
Also I’m so sorry about the cat Miro. Our sweet little familiar. You told me all about it but hearing the whole story and how you cared for her so intensely really touched me deeply. Very loving. Also tragic. I’m sorry. I’m also glad for all the time you spent together and I think you’re just a wonderful kind heart. We all love you so. ❤️🐈⬛
Oh Miro, so sorry to hear that you lost your companion. Bless you for all you did for gray kitty. As for a video on how you take pictures, yes! I’d love to see that and learn more. You photos are stunning!
So kind of you to look after the cat in her final days in the best way possible. I am sure she appreciated it, she came to hang out with you. Wishing you well as you recover from this. Hoya photographing video: yes! If you still want/need Hoya Chinghungensis I’d be happy to cut a branch off and send it to you 🌱 That shot where you sprayed the Hoya Paradisea cuttings… the Begonias in the background look adorable
@@BasiePlants just watched the rest of the vid. Also wishing you well on your plant journey (which you will probably share in future videos). It is difficult to choose what plants to keep and which plants to get rid of if it is about making (mental/physical) space as the process is unnatural… purging when you are done with/over something is easier, but there isn’t always time for that luxury. I hope you will find the plants that make you the happiest with ease! Also hope you will find Hoya Chinghungensis near you soon that would be easier and you will have the exact same clone that you previously had, if not my offer will still stand. I don’t know anything about cameras, but Im sure you’ll figure out how you want your settings
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss 😢😢 .. but find comfort in knowing she came to you knowing you would love her .. and she knew love from you til the end ❤❤❤
Oh, Miro. ((Hugs)) I’m so sorry. You took the time you needed and that's healthy and normal. Please take extra good care of yourself while you are healing. It was nice to see you check in.
I am so sorry for your loss, kidney disease in cats can be a challenge. You gave her such wonderful care and she knew so much love and kindness when she passed. ❤
oh wow your story brought up a lot of feelings. I lost my first and only cat when she was 18 years old to metastatic cancer. I was 25 at the time and had to rush back home from university to ultimately make the decision to put her down. that last day caring for her before the travel vet came was one of the hardest days. the grief from losing a pet, whether originally yours or not, is indescribable. you gave her a home and your love, that's all she could've asked for. ❤
Bless your heart for trying to so hard to save your kitty friend. What I learned through crises with my own cats is that they often hide their symptoms until things are very, very bad. I guess, in nature, that is a survival mechanism. Sometimes you can turn it around, but often by the time that you know that there is a problem, your chances aren't very good. You gave her a chance as well as love, care, and comfort in the time that she had left, which was a blessing to her. I know that doesn't really help with the grieving, but hopefully it gives you a sense of peace. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Yes, that is in their (very annoying) nature. It is to keep predators away and also hiding is a way for them to "protect" you, so they don't attract predators/ vultures to you. The signs are also very subtle, so that doesn't help. I think if I had her since she was a kitty and she was indoor all the time it would have been much easier to spot the personality change but that's a huge leap and a big if.
@@BasiePlants It is a big IF, I agree. I had two cats, both of whom I got as kittens and both lived strictly indoors. Both seemed fine one day and then crashed the next (about two years apart). One had congenital HCM and didn't make it. The other developed an autoimmune disease. She is still with me, but it literally cost thousands of dollars to save her. So, give yourself some grace. You did your best. Regarding branching out from hoyas . . . I get that, too. I slowed way down on acquiring hoyas a few months ago. I love most of the ones that I have (I'm iffy on a few), but just don't think that there are that many that would really bring much to my collection -- other than numbers and workload. I've really enjoyed getting more into anthuriums lately, but need to calm down on that, too. I have no idea where I'm going to put them all if they mature to be huge. Future Amy's problem, obviously. 😉
That was a rollercoaster. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. It is now 1:23 am and I have yet to finish my Spiced Apple Donuts Flavored Berliner-Style Wiesse Beer. You are my muse and worst distraction. 😂
Hi Miro. I have been watching your videos for a few years now but this really hit home for me. I unfortunately had to help my cat Cali cross a few years ago. It was the 1st pet of mine that I experienced this. I thought we were going to get some meds, and she would be okay but that was not the case. It was and still the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I take comfort in knowing I did everything I could and I was with her until the end.🥲 I love her, and all of my past animals that I have had. I hope you know you really did everything you could, and I could tell how much you loved her. Please reach out if you need a shoulder to cry on. Condolences to you. Just take it one day at a time.💚
I am starting my journey on growing a plant collection and came across your channel and so far, you're my favorite because you're real and i can relate to your manorisms. I am so sorry about your kitty, but im sure she'll come to visit you every now and then in spirit. She knew you cared about her, and passed in comfort feeling loved. 😊 i hope to learn all i can about plants and will turn to you for some guidance. If you have any cuttings of fairly easy plants you're willing to part with, I'd be honored to grow them.😊
Oh Miro. How compassionate of you to help and go through Cat’s last days with her…as with being with anything living the cycle does end, and we go through the loss with pain and grief, it would be inhuman if we did not. In her way she chose to be with you, you helped her as much as you could, but it was her time to go…many warm, comforting hugs to you dear Miro, from me and all who watch and care for you…💕😥 🐈⬛ Judi

This is me coming in a little late to say I'm so sorry about your cat friend ❤ I would love videos on how you photograph hoya because your photos are inspirational.
I just got on here to say I was watching a video of yours a while back and you were saying you didn't like the argentea princess because of its reverting habit. It was my unicorn at the time and I finally got one and the darn thing keeps reverting
Hi Miro. I’m so sorry about your cat passing but I am so glad that her final days were not somewhere outside on the street. She knew she was loved and she was safe to pass. You were her angel at the time she needed you most ❤ If you’re doing prints, maybe a calendar of Hoya blooms?

This is the first video I've seen of yours in over a year (thank you youtube algorithm 😒) and it had me in tears. Thank you for caring ao much for sweet kitty, I'm so sorry you went through it all, but she obviously realised you were a kind caretaker to her for her final months ❤❤❤
Sorry to hear about your loss❤
Sorry to hear the sad news. You did a great job taking care of her and I’m sure she appreciated you doing that for her. Thank you for sharing the news with us. We are here for you. You take as much time to heal. She just wasn’t someone cat or a stray cat. She was someone to you. ❤ sending you hugs
She was
1 hour new video is great!
I've been waiting so long.
Haven't watched the video yet. Just wanted to say I'm happy you are back!💚💚💚
I watched half of it now. I'm so sorry to hear about that sweet cat. You were right to take the time off. 1000 hugs from Munich!!!
Thank you
@@BasiePlants And I'll be there for it🙂
Hi Miro, you gave that cat the only things she needed - love and care and that is the most important. And thanks for being authentic. I guess it was one of your the most important asset that helped you grow this channel. It is always a pleasure to watch your videos sooo please carry on. Cheers from Poland 🇵🇱
Bartek
Thank you Bartek
You did all you can for her and I know it gave her a lot of comfort knowing that she was loved in the end. Much love to you, Miro.
Sorrybabut your cat. I am sure she appreciated you!! She is in a better place.
💐💕
Thank you
@@BasiePlants That’s understandable. And sharing helps let a little light into that darkness.
The world is more beautiful for people like you. Thank you for everything that you have done and the new camera is nice! Of course keen for the hoya phototherapy video!
Oh my God, are you insane?! 😭❤ Thank you ❤❤❤ And also, thank you for the very kind words
@BasiePlants Don't be silly, your vlog must be very interesting! Can't wait!😊😊😊
Much love and hugs. You are a big heart and thank you for taking such exquisite care of that cat. 🐈 I’m sorry for your pain going through that ❤️🩹❤️🩹
Thank you
Oh Miro, I had a feeling something was up with you. I am so sorry for your loss. Although your plants suffered you did the best and rightest thing by easing the life of the beautiful gray cat. You and your friend Alex are to be commended.
He is truly a great friend
Ahh, I did wonder about you. I'm sorry to hear about your cat. As a cat parent myself, I get it 😢 I'm glad to see that you're back, though.
Miro, I am sorry for your loss. Time has no factor in those that touch our lives be they animal or person. She was very blessed to have you to care for her.
Thank you
So sorry for your cat companion loss, you did so much for her, god bless you x
😢I'm so sorry Miro. This proverb has brought me comfort in the past: ‘The righteous one takes care of his domestic animals...’ -Proverbs 12:10. Such a sad experience you endured. I'm so sorry you lost your new pet... she looked like such a cutie and you loved her when she needed you most.
Like, than watch. I missed you so much!! ❤ Waiting for an Update
My Hoya australis Lisa is blooming for the first time. I am so excited to see the blooms. She ist very big and growing like a weed
That is so nice to hear! :D Even though we all know how I feel about 'Lisa'...
Wh…. I missed one? I missed one! Yay! What a delightful surprise. 🤗
I'm so sorry for your loss Miro. RIP Miss Kitty.
Yes! She was always (un)helpful when it came to trellising 😂 What a goof.
I am so sorry for the loss of your cat. So sad. 😢
😢😢😢 this is so sad, I’m sorry for your poor kitty. You’re such a lovely person xxxxx 😢😢😢
I know, not the most positive return, but the next one will be cheerful video
I’ve been watching your videos all day today. I appreciate you so mucho! We support you ❤
Yay missed you !! 🎉 hope you are well 😊
I should have watched before committing. So sorry for what you have endured. We also have a neighborhood kitty 100 % would have done the same . You do not owe us an explanation of your absence really hope the best for you.
No worries
Thank you
Oh Miro, so sorry to hear that you lost your companion. Bless you for all you did for gray kitty. As for a video on how you take pictures, yes! I’d love to see that and learn more. You photos are stunning!
Thank you
So kind of you to look after the cat in her final days in the best way possible. I am sure she appreciated it, she came to hang out with you. Wishing you well as you recover from this.
Hoya photographing video: yes!
If you still want/need Hoya Chinghungensis I’d be happy to cut a branch off and send it to you 🌱
That shot where you sprayed the Hoya Paradisea cuttings… the Begonias in the background look adorable
I am sure she did
@@BasiePlants just watched the rest of the vid.
💚💚💚
Thank you
I’m so sorry for your loss! I have 3 kitties on my own so my heart really feels for you. 😢❤
I'm sorry for your loss...I know to well how depressing the loss of a darling pet❤
I’m so sorry about your cat. It’s so sad when we lose our fur friends. ❤
It really is
Good to have you back! And so sorry for your loss. ❤
That was a rollercoaster. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. It is now 1:23 am and I have yet to finish my Spiced Apple Donuts Flavored Berliner-Style Wiesse Beer. You are my muse and worst distraction. 😂
I am happily married to a wonderful person. I like you a whole lot
😅😂
Hahaha I am sorry to be a distraction 😂
@@BasiePlants you’re amazing. Thank you
Thank you Judi, that is very sweet
Yea, I am interested in how you film the videos. 😊 Miro, so sorry for your loss…been there with my dog. It hurts a lot. Wishing you strength. 😢 Awesome new camera. 😊
This is me coming in a little late to say I'm so sorry about your cat friend ❤ I would love videos on how you photograph hoya because your photos are inspirational.
I’m so sorry. Those are difficult times.
Yes I would like a video on how you take your photos. Also how you record and edit your videos.
The camera is so great!!!!
Right?! :D The quality is amazing!
I just got on here to say I was watching a video of yours a while back and you were saying you didn't like the argentea princess because of its reverting habit. It was my unicorn at the time and I finally got one and the darn thing keeps reverting
Sorry for what you've been going through
Hi Miro. I’m so sorry about your cat passing but I am so glad that her final days were not somewhere outside on the street. She knew she was loved and she was safe to pass. You were her angel at the time she needed you most ❤
If you’re doing prints, maybe a calendar of Hoya blooms?
Thank you
@@BasiePlants Ooh I am sorry! I thought you were selling them 😊 Prints will be lovely either way ❤️
