Thank you for being you, Miro! I've been going through a rough time lately, and I haven't laughed in quite some time. Until I watched your video! You inspire and entertain me all while teaching me something new! Thank you for being part of the internet! So much love from Washington state! ❤️❤️❤️
I love how the Hoyas fight back. Mine are always whipping their tendrils around and sticking to everywhere but where they should. Thank you for another great video
I was crocheting and watching this video. I started laughing so much I had tears. I had to stop crocheting because I couldn’t see. Loved the slo mo save! I look forward to your videos so much! Have a great week Miro. 😂🤣💚🌱💚
TBH it’s such a relief an experienced person like you also has to wrestle with their plants when repotting and trellising. It’s not me, it’s the plants! 😅I bought those bamboo trellises, but those tip over all the time. I’ll have to try your way.
Miro!! You are soooo entertaining! And you give me great information to try keep my plants alive.. "get away from me" cracks me up everytime you say it..
I have to say that you are gifted as entertainer Miro😌🙏🌟I always laugh and enjoy your amazing videos! I do recommend self-watering pots for Hoyas too👌The thirsty Hoyas love that.
Always such a laugh watching your video's! I just moved to a new (BIG) home and have a lot more space for my plants. I can see that my collection will easily grow to 400+. Soooo i think i can relate to this video in the future 😄
Awwww….I am so sorry for the Tom dao. 😊you always bring a smile to my day. So much chaos and it’s adorable. I am now becoming worried that my cute little hoyas are going to overtake my room.
Once again a great video. Sooo entertaining. You could be in Vegas. I usually do my 120 plants in one day. I am now learning to do it over a few days. It is winter here in MA, USA and I have grow lights going which makes a once a week watering now a twice a week. All of my plants are on self watering or I would never be able to keep up. I do think you do a great job of trellising. Thanks for making a gray depressing day much nicer.
Selfwatering pots do make it so much easier. I don't have a lot of them, but I will try to invest this year more into selfwatering pots instead of so many plants xD It's really hard to keep up otherwise. I am glad I gave up on terracotta pots. It would be impossible to keep up.
Inspiring! I’m immediately going to my neglected grow tent to take care of Hoyas that we’re also neglected. Always the lower shelf because I hate crawling on the floor.
I also preffer to under water especially during the winter months, I have less moss since I started doing it. I keep one eye only to those thirsty ones.
You and your plants have outgrown your apartment, I think! 😄 My husband is 6ft tall and he's always bumping into something in our tiny 2br flat, while I don't (I'm 5'2") 🙈
Miro , I am also struggling to water in my mix substrate . I was told I could not do self watering with wicks because I use chunky mix , not pon , and roots would be too wet . My mix is porous and with my low humidity dries in 2-3 days ! I cant keep up
This was very satisfying, yes to underwatering, yes to fumble fingers days, and yes to uncooperative plant clips…Miro tries like Judi tries ! Some days are better than others…Ok, the plant light over your right shoulder aimed at the blank wall led to much speculation. Testing out reflective light theories? Not spoken off new collection of invisible plants? 🪴The first floor windows are a bit nerve wracking, tempting voyeurs especially at night. Would lightly frosted contact paper be an option? Thank you for sharing though. I do really like your trellises, but I use butterfly clips because my hands are too dumbly to fiddle with pieces of Velcro. Always be well, Miro! 🤗🌿
Haha :D This was definitely one of those days where not everything goes accroding to the plan. Oh that LED light is just colored LED light from Ikea for decoration :) I have shutters, so I rolled them down :) But sometimes I don't do it on time and I get a bit creeped out :D
Thank you for the inspiration and laughs! So many to repot, but my cardiophylla and pubicalyx super splash needs it badly. Thought they were doing great, then I discovered some root rot. That type of trellis is just what I need to all my bigger hoyas! Tired of them tipping over with what they have now
I also have some that need it really badly 😬 And some that I optimistically put in too small pots enthustiasthically xD I guess we won't be bored in spring :D
I've managed to keep my hoyas happy and watered. But I had a poor gloriousum that was neglected and covered in spider mites, so I took care of that yesterday.
Love your trellises I really need to trelliss a bunch of my plants I think I will try the rabbit fencing I like the way it looks. I don't really care for moss poles and the rabbit fencing is very airy.
Honestly I've never been able to grow my Hoyas in Coco peat. The roots would rot everytime even if the there wasn't a lot of it in the mix (like less than a 25%) But I guess I water my plants very thoroughly everytime so it may get too wet for them idk
Thank you for the video! My australis is neglected. Its huge and in a difficult to reach spot. I am hoping for flowers with some torture, Don't know if its working though.
Hi Miro, My Hoya Caudata needs more love from me. I am struggling with it so I am trying to figure out what is going on. It is in an orchid and soil mix. Do you have any suggestions on what kind of medium this species should be in?
She likes to be watered more frequently. Depending on what location it is from, she may want more humidity. The easiest ones to grow are those from Sumatra and those that were formerly called aff. caudata. Try a self-watering pot and increasing humidity.
Thank you! I will move it to a self watering pot. So many people who grow Hoyas recommend not overing watering but a local nursery near me keeps all the ones they sell in wet soil and the plants are thriving.
Hoyas that need love- recently my bella and lacunosa have taken a turn- some stems in the pot drying up. Haven't addressed it yet TBH... Still dead among all the rest
You're not relaxed enough when you start recording, cause you have to combine your plant chores and talking to your subscribers, it's not easy. I usually do it to some good movie or just watching some planty videos (yours, for example). Thanks for a nice idea of that kind of trellis. I think it will perfectly do for some hoyas🌹🏵
Yes, I usually just listen to music and I don't have to worry whether I look like a human or not :D I really have come to like this type of trellising :)
My plants are against me.
They love you, so do we❤🌱
😀😀😀😀😀you are hilarious.
You better sleep with one eye open
You are a super hero to the El Choco! Smooth save there. 💚
But you broke leaves. And you say, "Who's next!" ......baaaahaaaaa!!! They might retaliate!
You do have an interesting dynamic going on with them! Lol. They turned out fine and you pushed through and persevered. Well done plant dad!
Thank you for being you, Miro! I've been going through a rough time lately, and I haven't laughed in quite some time. Until I watched your video! You inspire and entertain me all while teaching me something new! Thank you for being part of the internet! So much love from Washington state! ❤️❤️❤️
I am sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. I hope it gets better fast
Oh my gosh when you finished trellising the Tam Dao and then said "Who's next??" I snorted coffee out of my nose 🤣
I love how the Hoyas fight back. Mine are always whipping their tendrils around and sticking to everywhere but where they should. Thank you for another great video
Thank you for dropping that fencing, I’ve not laughed so hard in a hot minute 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I am not sure that my Philodendron loved that as much :D
OMG😹 the entire video had me LOL’ing 💚💚💚
😂 “At least someone was laughing.”

Hahahah :D Sorry :D I hope you didn't ruin your work xD
@@BasiePlants 😁 nope. It’s good.
The production values for this video are *chef’s kiss”! 😊
The way he called the plant a bastard for having a peduncle 😅😂😂😂😂
Inconvenient timing. xD
The "O fortuna, vita detestabilis" part sent me. Thank you for the laughs, Miro!
It is the music I really wanted to include, but oh the copyright.
Your so funny, you make me smile! 😊 much love from Nova Scotia🇨🇦
TBH it’s such a relief an experienced person like you also has to wrestle with their plants when repotting and trellising. It’s not me, it’s the plants! 😅I bought those bamboo trellises, but those tip over all the time. I’ll have to try your way.
Oh yes! Skinny trellises do that all the time! I have issue with bamboo stakes and my Philodendrons. They can't stand up straight!
Miro!! You are soooo entertaining! And you give me great information to try keep my plants alive.. "get away from me" cracks me up everytime you say it..
Hahah :D And she didn't get away from me at all.
Thanks for making the trellis!!😁😁
I have to say that you are gifted as entertainer Miro😌🙏🌟I always laugh and enjoy your amazing videos! I do recommend self-watering pots for Hoyas too👌The thirsty Hoyas love that.
Thank you Miro! I will repot hoyas today as I have been putting it off. They will appreciate it ❤
You are so funny! Thank you for another great video!
I am glad you enjoyed it :D
Thank you for the advice and your are awesome ❤❤❤
I, too, had to repot my violets into self watering pots🙄 Anyhow, thanks so much for always putting a smile on my face! I love your videos 💚
Ah yes, they love selfwatering pots. They are very thirsty imo. Then again, I say that for any plant that flops after not getting water for a week xD
I would love to see a video or two about your other plants! You seem to have a green thumb with growing then 😊❤
They will be mentioned...eventually :D
Great job Miro you actually got the off camera stuff done You said you would do😁
Right?! I was amazed to haha :D But I got sooo exhausted that day.

I have to say I love your vlogs. I learn alot from them.
Thank you!
They really look good!
Awwww….I am so sorry for the Tom dao. 😊you always bring a smile to my day. So much chaos and it’s adorable. I am now becoming worried that my cute little hoyas are going to overtake my room.
Haha :D They probably are xD They grow quite fast. It is one of the reasons I cut them quite frequently.
good idea thank you Sleepyhead❤

Your in rare form today 🤣❄️💚🙃
Omg, a lot of action happened in this episode 😂❤️
Hahah :D All the action 😂
Think I’m gonna rearrange some plants now. 🪴💚🪴
Yay! :D I love rearranging them and making more space :D
@@BasiePlants Especially because I have a small apartment 🤣🤣🤣
Yikes you crack me up, 🤣 I love watch the hoya trellising, however your commentary is superb - one never knows what you will say next.
Trust me, not even I know what I will say xD
You really let your plants know who's boss Miro. I like your style
haha :D Yet they abuse me still with these watering demands!
Inspiring! I’m immediately going to my neglected grow tent to take care of Hoyas that we’re also neglected. Always the lower shelf because I hate crawling on the floor.
Oh I feel you xD My entire floor is neglected :D It needs a clean really bad too
Im showering my plants today too. They were very dusty. I should reorganize the trellises but……
I feel so good after I showered them, but it is very hard to bring myself to do it.
I also preffer to under water especially during the winter months, I have less moss since I started doing it. I keep one eye only to those thirsty ones.
I don't think I prefer it as much as I just lose track of what day it is and when I last watered xD
Very entertaining video, just what I needed after a long day at work 🤣
I hope you got some good rest
You and your plants have outgrown your apartment, I think! 😄 My husband is 6ft tall and he's always bumping into something in our tiny 2br flat, while I don't (I'm 5'2") 🙈
Hahaha :D Definitely! There is only room for one tall thing here and it shan't be these aroids xD

I find some of mine just don't want to be trellised! Children! Lol I like your trellis idea!! Thanks for sharing!
That is true, some are very stubborn about this (as we have seen with my sp. Tam Dao) I really should have just trellised it sooner.
This was very satisfying, yes to underwatering, yes to fumble fingers days, and yes to uncooperative plant clips…Miro tries like Judi tries ! Excellent job!!! I have quite a few plants to repot this Spring and I'm looking forward to it! Also trying Pon for the first time instead of LECA!!
Oh good! I hope you like pon! I like it a lot more than LECA. :)

Happy to entertain 😅

Oh, same with gloriousum and Dean McDowell. They are a magnet for mites. :/
🤩
Hi Miro, we also have a small german apartment, so big, wide spreading philos...no chance here. 😀

Love your trellises I really need to trelliss a bunch of my plants I think I will try the rabbit fencing I like the way it looks. I don't really care for moss poles and the rabbit fencing is very airy.
Oh yes, I would not put hoyas on moss poles. I don't like them either. I don't even love them that much for aroids.
I wish for you a studio this size times 3 but it would probably get filled beyond capacity in no time.
Oh I would fill out any space, I am pretty sure :D

Right?! They don't know their place at all!
Do you by any chance know Doug from Vermont Hoyas? ❄️💚🙃
Hi Miro, Is vitellina also known as fuscomarginata? It looks like my FM. Is FM an old name or am I just completely confused? Thanks.
Yes, fuscomarginata is a synonym. Vitellina is the name for this hoya as it takes precedant over fuscomarginata :)
@@BasiePlants Thanks! Confusion erased!
