Imagine him sucking on you for coke money with that very same enthusiasm! He used to do that for me back in the day out in the OC before things blew up
TIM PIERCE, such an amazing, polished, intricate player! Yet to watch the ease to which he bonds with any guitar he is playing, is so relaxed. Like he’s sitting on a couch having a cup of coffee. He looks so laid back, and really enjoying his craft. He makes this look so easy, but we all know how painstakingly hard it truly is to accomplish. He has his own tone, but can mimic and match the best guitar gods out there, effortlessly! Love to see a segment of TIM, and JOHN, jamming together! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can’t put a number on how many times I’ve heard Tim talk about his gear, approach, set up,reasoning, etc. It will absolutely never get old. His skill and touch are one thing but his joy and devotion to music are what brings me back. Such a legend.
At last!! Tim is one of those legends who so few people know of by name - yet many many have heard play as a sessionman on thousands of songs. Can't wait to watch this. His enthusiasm, humility - & that smile of his - always warms my heart.
Tim and John. Tone and gear talk hosts match made in heaven. Fantastic video and two of the nicest, coolest dudes in all the guitar world! I could listen to them talk gear and tones for hours. God bless and rock on 🎸😎
Imoho John uses his excellent interviewing skills to guide rig rundowns and asks questions to help artists provide their pertinent gear info. He’s great at asking the right stuff, then pretty much staying out of the way while they answer. With Tim most of this isn’t necessary. Tim’s a master communicator who’s been refining things through hundreds of videos over the years….and he’s demoed his guitars and cockpit many times on his own and other channels .This seems like it was an easy one for John, he could just let Tim go and enjoy the music and the info. Two pros doing their thing.
Tim is right on the money on everything: 1) Guitars are tools of the trade: they're better with modern improvements but without leaving the aesthetics aside (vintage vibe or whatever works for you) 2) Amps, speakers and pedals complementing each other 3) Setting the environment up so one can focus on creativity and not connecting/disconnecting, setting up, etc. thanks for this rig rundown, Tim is a player but also a guitar gear expert, which makes it more interesting.
Tim has the best tone I’ve ever heard… It’s always different but always amazing. Doesn’t matter what guitar or amp/modulator he’s playing through… Which makes me think it’s just how he plays
Tim sharing his secrets. He is like a mad scientist describing all his gear from the cockpit. I think I speak for everyone thanks Tim for enriching our lives, you are an inspiration.
Tim has alot of good friends with really famous people. Wonder what its like to be really good friends with really famous people. Also the tone on his Jaguar is just insane. The reverb is great. Thanks for showing it Tim! Thanks for the content Premier Guitar. Very Cool Stuff
Tim the consumate professional. Just listening to the care and attention he has given to designing his cockpit so as to get the best out of the artist he is working with - and giving off his best. A lesson that goes way beyond being a musician.
What a home studio! That might be the most impressive guitar cave I have ever seen. Tim has spent years learning all of these things and is now able to do ANYTHING at the press of some buttons. Just wow. Great rig rundown!!
What an awesome Rig Rundown. I love the ones with great session players, they're so generous with their insight and process. John is so good at just letting an artist talk as well
Great stuff - obviously love Tim's playing but love his ethos just as much. So refreshing hearing such an expert talk about "player grade" and new guitars with such enthusiasm. Much a pleasant change from all the vintage megabucks stuff.
So thankful for both of you. Since picking back the guitar up after a very long absence, I can say with certainty how much I’ve appreciated sitting at your feet here on UA-cam and immersing myself in Tone Town and tutorials and the passion both of you have for sharing!
Just, TRULY, The Best of the Best. A constant inspiration & in my few interactions with him, so very personable and humble with it. Thank you Mr Tim / Here’s hoping we can see you over UK side 🇬🇧 one day?! Cheers - Sam
Damn, that control room is insane! I guess if you have been playing as a professional for as long as Tim , this is a walk in the park. I, however, would get paralyzed by the seemingly infinite possibilities.
John and Tim together = happy day. Really great interview John. So cool you got to be in the gear cockpit. Amazing. Been a massive fan of Tim's since the Rick Springfield touring days. Um like almost 40 years ago. Wow!
We chase the holy grail of tone and we tend to get lost in the minutia. That said, it's wonderful to see how Tim has his studio configured so he can keep the inspiration and work flowing.
Such a good episode. BTW, I love how Tim references his old H9s and mentions the learning curve of the H90. I have some H9s, but a few months ago I picked up an H90 and as amazing as it is, it truly is not easy to use. I'm getting there though.

The sheer joy in which Tim plays with is inspiring
Truly.
Imagine him sucking on you for coke money with that very same enthusiasm! He used to do that for me back in the day out in the OC before things blew up
seems to know the score...

A thousand times: Tim and John!!
Tim has got to be one of the best players on Earth right now....every note he plays just BELONGS there...
Tim’s the man! What a sweet guy. His command center cockpit is unreal. Great episode
Love Tim Pierce! What an articulate and informed guy. Plus his guitar face is one of the best .. like pure joy!
Tim has probably played on more songs than you can count. Amazing player and seems like a super chilled dude! Cheers for sharing.
Tim is a inspirational gift to all dedicated musicians to follow and learn
Nicest guitarist in the world. Tone monster!
I've never seen JB so quiet, he looks completely mesmerised by Tim's rig and masterful playing. Love it ❤

I love how Tim is just having fun while doing this the whole time. This was awesome John!

You can call it tremolo, vibrato, whatever you want Tim, you are the boss! Master musician. 🙌
Seriously the most powerful home studio I've ever seen. Tim is such an inspirational player. Great episode guys!
It's not a home studio, it's a studio in a home
The best tone, the nicest guy and the coolest gear! Tim’s the man!
Some say tone is in the hands - I think Tim’s is in his smile.
Tim Pierce is a breath of fresh air. You gotta' love this guy ...! Great player ...He's just so genuine.
Tim has the best tone I’ve ever heard… It’s always different but always amazing. Doesn’t matter what guitar or amp/modulator he’s playing through… Which makes me think it’s just how he plays
Best Rig Rundown - EVER!
Tim is the man. Such a happy, cool guy.
Tim definitely gets the award for most amazing home guitar setup and rig!!!! And definitely gonna need those Tim Pierce signature pickups!!!
Tim's Flat Wound 62 Jag was THE SOUND! I can't get over that delicious, syrupy soaked reverb tone. Heaven!
Tim always looks like he absolutely enjoys what he does 😃🤘👍
The guitars and amps are great. But that studio setup........
Tim sharing his secrets. He is like a mad scientist describing all his gear from the cockpit. I think I speak for everyone thanks Tim for enriching our lives, you are an inspiration.
So good! I love Bolinger's face looking over Tim's shoulder in the second half. So great to see his reactions as a real fan.
Tim is the best. Super nice, too. He did some auxiliary tracking on our first record, when I was a green newbie and couldn't nail studio parts.
Tim is one totally melodic guitar man! That Les Paul is a beaut!
Tim has alot of good friends with really famous people. Wonder what its like to be really good friends with really famous people. Also the tone on his Jaguar is just insane. The reverb is great. Thanks for showing it Tim! Thanks for the content Premier Guitar. Very Cool Stuff
Thank you so much for doing that! Tim's been featured on so many records, he deserves the attention! This was an amazing learning experience!
GOAT!! Tim has to be the sweetest guy. A true inspiration ❤
Tim and John! YES! Two of my favorite UA-cam people. God bless y'all.
It's nice to see someone with so much talent and so little ego. Tim is amazing.
Love how Tim just drops in 'I met Tom thru Joe Bonamassa'. There's another story - but Tim has such humility, it's never a name drop with him.
He's such an inspiring guy. If you watch him play, it is always a motivation to go further on your instrument. No matter, what your level is ...
He used to suck on me with such *wild* inspiration- astounding care to detail!!
Time is such a pro’s pro, and anything he says is pretty much golden to me. Love it!
Tim just has a beautiful touch! Period.
Tim the consumate professional. Just listening to the care and attention he has given to designing his cockpit so as to get the best out of the artist he is working with - and giving off his best. A lesson that goes way beyond being a musician.

Tim used to do a great Dick Suckdown on my penis back in the day! Really great stuff
Tim doesn’t have a rig. He has a mission control center.

Tim rules. This was really enjoyable.
Such a good episode. BTW, I love how Tim references his old H9s and mentions the learning curve of the H90. I have some H9s, but a few months ago I picked up an H90 and as amazing as it is, it truly is not easy to use. I'm getting there though.
