ITS SO WORTH IT “Pull or Pull day” -shopping for the look -the day that you will go shopping “Studio services or show room” -research stores and designers with the clothing you need -location where designer is housed (their own personal studios or where they design their clothing. Similar to a warehouse not a store) “PR-public relations” -email or phone number -to contact studio services or designer -can I use your samples? I would love to borrow these for my shoot. “Pull letter or LOR-letter of responsibility/commissioning letter” -better chances of getting clothing for free -“I am the stylist please allow me to pull clothing from your store on this date” -you are RESPONSIBLE if there is damage or issues with the clothes after usage “KIT” -what’s in my kit? -tool bag (pins, lint roller, etc) “ON-SET” -location of shoot or the shoot itself “CALL-sheet and CALL-time” -sheet with the times everyone is required to arrive “Model bag” -bring blah blah onto set -stylists may not be able to get certain things for the model (pumps, skin tone bra, shoes etc) “Last looks or jumping in” -final review before shoot -never fix hair and makeup !!! Tell the specific artists and vice versa “BOOK” -portfolio or portfolio website -instagram does not count, it’s for sharing not presenting your work “Test shoot” -doing a shoot to build everyone’s portfolio work -no charging for services

I want to be able to grow in my knowledge in everything fashion but I don't know which schools to try, even if it is an online school. I would love your opinion. Thanks in advance!

I also wanted to take a moment to research a few online schools, because I don't have any personal experiences with any online schools to be able to give you a detailed suggestion, nor can I tell you how much they cost. Hey! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos! Submission-based magazines actually DO issue pull letters! I usually ask the photographer to request a pull letter from the magazine on behalf. This is because the photographer is usually the person to literally submit the pictures, since the pictures technically belong to the photographer. Nonetheless, either you or the photographer can contact the magazine, let them know that you’re planning to submit, and ask for a pull letter. Lastly, please note that every magazine is different, so be sure to search their site for any protocols regarding pull letters before you contact them. There are a few different ways you pull clothes, but when you pull from a store you either go through their Studio Services or PR department or you purchase the clothes and return them.
