I’m glad I found your channel so that I could really pinpoint exactly what area of styling I’d like to work in! I’ve found that I really think my place in this world is to be a fashion/editorial stylist. Oh man if I could style something huge TOMORROW it’d definitely have to be something on location at a mansion or a big historical building and I’d LOVE to get a hold of some Alexander McQueen pieces... that’d kill me 🤭

Alberto I know it’s a basic answer but most likely Vogue, I believe they’re the front runners for all things editorial and it’s more focused on the fashion aspect of things and less about celebrity life editorials. I’d say I’d love to style someone like Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, or even Sasha Luss But I honestly would choose an up and coming model. I’d scout around locally to find someone I know hasn’t had a big break yet. There are so many gorgeous and unique people that I know have the look that I think would fit an Alexander McQueen editorial.

I know I am late but I am aspiring to be a celebrity stylist, if i could style one celebrity right now it would be Michael B jordan. I remember an episode of complex Sneaker Shopping he spoke about wanting to wear the Jordan 1 Black and red with a suit. I was inspired and I researched and came up with an idea on my phone that I know one day he will wear styled by me Diamond Gregory.
Dream job would be a personal stylist. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a celebrity, but a dream client would be someone like Lizzo or Marne Morris. I love how individualistic these women are and that neither of them or a simple and conventional body type. It can give others ideas and inspiration that they too can look and feel beautiful even if they fit in the mold!
I want to be a Fashion/Personal Stylist I love making new outfits to wear & finding unique items and sharing my style with others & reading magazines about the latest fashion trends and use that inspiration for my style, I think I would make awesome outfits for celebrities or Models etc. And I want to help others with their style needs, like personal shopping, closet clean up, or styling for an event.
So I would have to say that I would love to style Zendaya 😍 because Law Roach is fashion Royalty and I know i'd made it, if I could meet the hieght of his image architecture 😍 . But I also would just love to style Kate Middleton and recreate the whole proper royalty look , not throughout the blue print but creat beautiful new styles within those guideline's of proper 🤭 🤭. 😍😍 thankyou for sharing all your jems of wisdom 😍 can't wait to see where God takes you 👏👏👏👏 to the next thousand 😋
Hello! I love your channel! Following you since video number one. I’ve learned a lot from you. In my country (Slovenia, Europe) there’s not a lot going on in fashion, not much to learn. So i’m really grateful for your knowledge. My dream since I was a little girl was to work in fashion. People have been telling me “that’s not possible, there are no jobs” but I’m not done dreaming. If I could be a fashion stylist that would be amazing. I would really like to be celebrity stylist or a personal stylist. I’m really interested in editorial styling too (btw I followed your advice for editorials, found some models/photographers and shops to borrow clothes and did a whole editorial). This would be my dream job because it’s the only thing I ever think about. I love fashion and I love it so much it hurts sometimes haha...i cannot explain it. I know my heart would be full working in fashion. In out county there are not many celebrity but in other countries in balkan I would love to work with some UA-camrs/bloggers for their events (I know it’s funny but idk i feel like that would be interesting). I want to be a celebrity stylist! I am a fashion Stylist that focuses on styling Curvy Cuties because I feel they are under represented! My dream job would be working with Oprah, Queen Latifah, and Lizzo just to name a few. I love styling all body types I just want to make sure all sizes are represented as fashionable in the entertainment industry. I also love producing fashion shows. Do I need a degree to become a stylist??? also, if you're assisting a stylist, and they ask for me to go to the store and pick out clothes for a shoot, they pay for that right? it doesn't come out of my pocket? cause I'm flat broke lol
Thank you for your questions! I don't believe you absolutely need a degree, although some formal education in fashion/textiles/apparel merchandising, etc. is extremely valuable. Yes, whenever you are sent to pull clothes, you should always be given a budget (typically a credit card) from whomever has hired you. You should never be using your own money (unless maybe if it's a small project that you're passionate about).
