  • CAUTION A little goes a long way. Don't take too much!
    It took longer to get this video out than I had anticipated. sorry about that. Life Drama.
    Anyway, if you want more steering angle you can have it easily. Look at your axle and remove anything that is limiting the movement of your C-hubs then cut it back. The front and back of the axle on on each side will need to be trimmed. Don't take too much. Good luck!

    If you take of to much, just adjust your EPA right.

    Awesome, I’ve had no problems with mine, but I have only trim a little bit

    I normally take of 2mm.
    And put CVDs in the Axles and it's sweet

      @@Ghosty-RC I am struggling with some RCAWD cvds. They bind drive line, and steering a lot in stock SCX24 plastic axles. Been shaving the ring gear side to free it up. So far the drive line is smooth, but steering seems to bind on the o ring retainer. Is it necessary to keep that? Steering is free with out it.

    I think it chugs because the diffs are locked so to tire of turning radius will cause tire to skip

    Wow. I tried this and need to know what motor you are running. I get better steering but no pulling tire off the ground.

      I am running a PN Racing PN70. My long wheelbase one can do it too running a Barrage.
      It could also be particularly due to running Kinetic shocks. The have a lot of articulation.

      In this mod I shaved the stock axles where the C-hubs strike it. I have moved away from this mod because it tends to over articulate them drive axle joint.

    I did that mod a few months ago. I went to far and bound up my front axle. Ended up replacing the axle.

    I haven't done this mod yet, but I still get that bouncing when full throttle, full steer mostly to the left. Trimming down the steering doesn't help much too.

    • @EXPIOWA
      @EXPIOWA  3 роки тому +2

      You will get some bounce at high steering angles due to the locked axles. The outer tire has a wider turn radius than the inner. The only way it can turn is if one skids. As it turns out it is a grab and slip, grab and slip, operation. My full sized SUV does this as well.
