I replaced both of these on my car and now it won't shift into Drive, will shift into reverse and natural and park but drive does not work. Anything I might have done wrong?. The transmission mount replacement was also a pain to get back in even with the transmission jacked up.
Dod you find out why your transmission dont went into drive? Is it easy to play with the jack under the engine or transmission? do you have some advice you can hive me ? Thanks
Clearest video of the job! Just one question. When you put the new mount in place, do you have to play a second time with the jack to lift up the transmission higher?
nice work! Thanks for the video. How many miles did the car have on it? I have a 2014 Mazda 6 with 147K miles. I'll have to do the test to see if the trans/Engine is moving at throttle
how would I know if some of these parts are bad? FYI we have some vibration problems on Mazda 6 2015 that are not wheels and tyres...and no audible from the drivetrain/suspension.
on FWD models you can easily take the bottom torque mount out as there is plenty of clearance. For the an AWD model, the PTU/transfer is in the way just enough, so if you disconnect or happen to be replacing top trans mount, now is the time! You can jack up the trans about an inch or so and it will give the torque mount room to come out.

Amazing. Thank you for this!
This exact same mount is leaking oil from the top where the black rubber circle is at, does it need to be replaced on my 2016 Mazda 6? Thanks
yes

does the transmission mount has fluid inside? mine gave in and I think it's leaking??

Engine vibration when transmission is engaged, noticeable engine movement when holding the brake and giving it a bit of throttle.
Thank you very much! Great guides!
Please make more for Mazda 6/CX5. Maybe replacing struts and tie rods next?
What about torque mount in the rear.

@@midnitemontydo you have a suggestion as to what brand/s to get? RockAuto has a set of all 3 from Anchor Industries.
@@quicksno Get OEM from Mazda for the mounts.
Great video!!
