- Me and Riff with Cliff are testing out some new LTD guitars at Replay Guitar Exchange in Tampa, FL.
We're showcasing these 2024 models for hard rock and heavy metal guitar playing. Each of the 3 guitars we chose is unique with their own characteristics.

I owned a lefty LTD Viper. Great guitar. It only makes sense for a guitar designed like this to have 24 frets.

I almost bought that viper last week, but when I checked the specs and saw fishman fluence I said PASSSS. It would have been cooler with Seymour Duncans.
I personally prefer passive pickups and would probably go with Duncans as well

If the strings are too high on that SG shape, that might have dropped the output a little bit, but definitely geared to a different vibe/style of playing. Anytime my Epiphone SG comes out, I have to play some Black Sabbath - usually Ironman 🤘
Love my LTD Deluxe 1000, mine has SD Sentient and Pegasus in see through purple burst. It just wants to chug 🤘🤘. Only one nit pick and that's the shape of the headstock if you keep it in a guitar stand that holds the headstock - it slowly loosens the locking screw on the low E each time you take it in/out.
I've got Fishman Fluence in another guitar and they definitely scream 🤘🤘

Out of those 3 guitar bodies the most I liked is Jason’s body. It has a nice cut to the edges. Hahaha joke. I also liked the M-1000 most. Is the bending possible by turning the tuning pegs though? Or even so does it feel different to normal bending on other guitars?
Yeah I prefer the MH1000 style. I'm not sold on the Evertune though. I would more than likely get one with a Floyd

in Mexico the price of a LTD/ESP guitar is not affordable if you dont have a lot of money
Not only Mexico my man.
I think prices on most guitars have gone up. You just have to prioritize what you want

The Metal riffs are cool,guys, but CLEAN?,guys? CLEAN tones? Please? Push/pull on a Fishman Fluence only gives you another voicing not really a Fender “quack”. Greg Koch puts Fishman Fluences in his signature guitars. They’ve got “ huevos”. The Epiphone Prophecy line has them as well. LTD is the “poor man’s ESP”. StepnniemBradlet

There are some folks on the net saying pickups don’t matter, but neither of us agree with that. My Telecaster, Ibanez, and ESP all sound very different through the same amp
