I suggest looking into a rock n roller cart and the accessory bag for your cables and mics. There’s also a bag that hangs for tripods and mic stands. Or you could look into a cablephyle bag.
Sadly, this location closed soon after!! I only got to play there a couple times. But yeah, my good friend Ed Aborn (drummer for the metal band Siren) loves pinball so I brought him here!
Deine besondere Art inspiriert mich. Inzwischen spiele ich auch in einer Coverband. Wir spielen keinen Metal. Pop und Rocksongs von Hendrix, Clapton, Chris Isaak, Beatles, Tom Petty und dergleichen. Herzliche Grüße aus Deutschland. good video, one of the reasons I have almost given up live music is due to the incredible effort it is to sent up and pack up. People don't realise the effort. Best wished on future videos :)
Ive seen you do another video on it, but generally do you try to set up the PA on your side, so you dont need a monitor. Sometimes ive found it hard to find the sweet spot between not getting feedback, but still being able to adequately hear yourself
It really depends on the venue and setup area. Most of the time I have it off to the left side because I also have my pedals on that side and soundboard, so it’s easier to plug all of those units into one power strip without having to run power to the other side of me, if that makes sense
I ended up getting the EV 50m and am considering getting the roller case but it's really expensive and the reviews I've seen have said that it's hard to roll. What is your long term experience with the rolling case?
I’ve never used the EV roller case but I prefer a larger cart like the one I have to carry everything. If you have a roller case for the EV but not everything else, that’s two large components you’re rolling around
Better bag? I know a few companies now make backpacks designed with gigging musicians in mind. PRS and D'Addario come to mind, but I'm sure there are others.
Yes, there are several. The issue I have with bags 'made for that specific purpose' is that they're often overpriced. A regular gym bag would probably do the trick just as good.
It's one less thing to connect and worry about. I've been using the reverb and compression on my soundboard and that works just fine. I've been on this kick to simplify
@@rickgrebenikpuggles56 You don’t. But I prefer it for what I do. And that’s what it’s all about. It works for me. And I always recommend doing what works best for you, which may not be the same.

Glad this helps! Sadly, this place just closed it! I really enjoyed playing here!

Really love it when you take us along to your acoustic gigs. Thanks so much for posting!
I’m glad you like it because these are fun videos to make, sharing the journey!
Brother from another mother, you are, Jason. I’m a guitar player, love my IPA’s, and enjoy playing and listening to live performances. You rock!!
Music and IPAs dude!
As usual, another real-world, practical video. I enjoy watching these and appreciate all your tips and advice.
Thank you, I appreciate that

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. No BS short tidbit, Was at a brewery in my hometown they had an Iron Maiden pinball machine.

Great video. My favorite kind, that you do: come along to gig + plenty of advice. You are awsome
Thank you, I enjoy making these types of videos!
Great stuff. Nice to see a fellow acoustic pro doing his thing
I’m grateful that we get to do this!
@@jasonstallworth same here. keep up the good work
That beer by the mixer gives me anxiety lol. Great tunes though! Im combing thru your channel now, thanks for sharing all the pro tips!
😂 yeah a beer that close to the soundboard isn’t the smartest thing!
As always nice little video Jason. Looks like a full schedule for the summer for you. Congrats!!!
Yeah man, it’s about as full as I want it, thankfully!
nice town to enjoy a cigar !!
Definitely plenty of cigar shops in Ybor!

Yeah, that can be a pain point. But I've worked a lot harder for less!
It’s a cool place with tons of potential.
Yeah man it’s a nice place and pretty big inside.
Wow what a coincidence they have the same(almost) speakers that you have, how is it possible, they are pretty unique, rare speakers :D. Nice video!!
Yeah I was happily surprised when I saw their system

Dadarrio makes a really good bag..
I’ll check that out, thank you!
Have you looked into the Daddario backpack to replace your suitcases sweat water has them for around $220
I may check that out

Why u not using the mic mechanic anymore?

Came for the same question! Thanks for answering Jason
Don't need all that gear man
