The 365 thing doesn’t make sense. I get the idea, but every sport which has had billions of dollars worth of research and 100+ years of experience to base on has shown what is best for performance is ramping up physically and mentally for the competition. Now skill, technique, talent, and good coaching can make up for the lack of optimal physical and mental state. but even when you look at football for example NFL teams every week ramp up as the week goes until Friday where they have a last walk through and then Saturday they travel to compete on Sunday. So obviously for grappling or MMA the schedule would be different but you don’t compete full go the entire offseason. You training to practice skill and slowly build up preparation for the season. But those other sports are multi billion dollar organizations that have invest tens of millions of dollars worth of resources to find what is the optimal preparation along with everything else to help athletes be there best in competition.
