Hysteria is most definitely contagious, but they were great weren’t they. x
How those four young men made it through alive AND without losing their minds I'll never know.
Первопроходцы и низвергатели всех канонов прежней попмузыки! Браво, Beatles!
I saw The Beatles on September 7 1964 in Toronto, The girls screamed so much. I wasn't a screamer but I loved the Beatles, Got to see them 4 times live, ran off to New York in May 1968 to try to find them I will always love them. I raised my daughter on Beatles songs too,
Es increíble tantos días seguidos de Conciertos. Minutos 2:21 3:09 4:18 . No me imagino ahora que algún grupo cumpla ese cronograma tan exigente.
Lucky You ☺️, I Was Born In 63,
Never got to see the beatles but I loved their music
the Beatles cannot be out done by anyone or any other band.ever.theres just no words.
J'ai aujourd'hui 77ans.. c'était la plus belle époque.. malgré que je ne comprends pas bien l'anglais.....
John Lennon and Paul McCartney makes my heart melt. Singing If I fell
1964 was the absolute peak of Beatlemania and the most exciting year in music.
Year I was born. To the best music😅
Ringo has a surprisingly great voice on that song Boys.
I think they should have used his vocals in many more
songs -- was very underrated, and surprised me how
good he could sing.
...No other band in the history of rock music has ever mesmerized a crowd, more than the Beatles!!!...Absolutely, Unbelievable!!!...
ua-cam.com/video/2N7Y85OxpMc/v-deo.html
just hysteria! :)
The biggest attraction the world has ever known!
@@davidrowe7967 Wouldn't say bigger than Michael Jackson. At least not since 1983
@@Priapus212 shut up no way near
Though I wasn’t there - I remember their phenom popularity! 👍 🇨🇦👍
Que lindo que fanatismo eso sí era esa época se sentía la música de verdad bendiciones para el grupo más famoso del nuestro planeta dios lo bendiga siempre mis respetos y saludos
The girls' reactions say it all. Many of them literally fainted. No other band in history elicited that kind of response everywhere they went.
Elvis Presley. Frank Sinatra. Michael Jackson?
after all this time I have never seen any scientific explanation as to why this happened. you are right: the reaction was/is unique. women screaming at the top of their lungs, incredible levels of joy. but why? what did these 4 possess that was so magic?
@@jv-ep2tc I think its referred to as "Crowd behavior." Public groups are the most obvious examples of Crowd mentality. Whether gathering to grieve, protest, or cheer on a sports team, a crowd can quickly adopt a group mentality.
@@DavidEVogel that is not the explanation for this phenomenon.
@@DavidEVogel Not to the extent it was for the Beatles, seriously, I LIVED that period and if was monumental. Elvis, Frank and Michael were ONE person. The Beatles had 4 members and EACH of them had their own fans even though we loved all of them, we still had our favorite member, so that alone brings MORE people out. But it was more than that. It is SO hard to make people understand, you really had to live through that period to "get it" I was 17 iwhen I saw the Beatles in concert on Sept. 15,, 1964 and again on Aug, 14, 1966 both in Cleveland. They didn't come to Cleveland in 1965 because our Mayor BANNED them after the 1964 concert,
What roaring female fans!!, their screams and love took The Beatles to the height of superstardom never before seen, and that happened more than 50 years ago!!!
And still hasn't been seen. No other celebrities have ever made it to the height of fame the Beatles reached. Only the four Beatles have experienced that tier of fame first hand. Brian Epstein was right when he said, "the Beatles are going to be bigger than Elvis".
I was 8 yo and first seeing and I love them. FOREVER.
.. you wet your shirt ?
Beatles forever.
At 70 I still love them like I was 15 in 1965
Agree
Forever is not enough for me, coz since 1964 to the final days of John Lennon i also wanted to die that is how i'm very loyal forever and my lifetime best band now i'm 67 y/o thanx
AND BEYOND!!!!!!
Да
Their live performances were so much superior than any pop singers or groups studio recordings of today which says a lot about Beatles musical talent and skills.

I was there!!!!!!!! I was one of those kids!!!!!! I saw The Beatles twice at both of their concerts in Chicago. One concert was at the Amphitheater and the other one was at Comiskey Park. I will never forget it as long as I live and always will love them. Four lads that shook the world and inspired everyone on the planet with their music, even today. LONG LIVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way my favorite Beatle is Paul McCartney. Peace and Love.✌💗
We are very lucky to have them in our lives back then.
There never be another group who impacted the world like these guys did. They will always be the biggest thing in pop music history. Not one,not any band will ever come close.
God bless you Kathy, I saw them in 65 on their last UK tour, happy memories
Which one are you? Did you get shoot in this video? ☺️ I can't imagine how crowded in there, maybe my ear will be bleeding. Dang!
@@tonymurphy528 God bless you too Tony. Yes, they are the happiest memories and the best years of my life. We are very lucky to have seen them in person. As Ringo would say, "Peace and Love".✌💗
I saw them in Toronto in '64, '65, and '66. Great memories.
The harmony, melody, and energy of a simple song like I Wanna Hold Your Hand boggles the mind.
It's not that simple if you are a musician. To play the rhythm correctly, the bass, the lead guitar accents & fills, the drums, the VOCALS with the high notes & harmony and make it all come together takes a lot of talent, especially playing with an inferior sound system & screaming girls where you could barely even hear yourself. lol
We went to the Paramount my sister and I to see the Beatles and yes, we were part of the screaming girls in these videos; we were so in love with the Beatles !
Keep on screaming sweet lady! beautiful time it was
I can understand. The best time in my life.
07/09/2023 e eu aqui boquiaberto de ver tanto carisma e talento reunidos num mesmo palco, só pode ser intervenção Divina.
Truly another time and place. I was in the sixth grade when I heard "I Want To Hold Your Hand," and I walked on air for a week. Nothing will ever again equal the phenomenon of The Beatles. The black and white footage seems ancient to us now, but my God! You really had to be there! I feel so fortunate to have been a child of the 60s. I am a lifelong Beatles cultist, and I am glad to report that my daughter and granddaughter, now two generations removed, also know their music and appreciate their legacy. The Beatles will never die!

You should listen to the Beatles AI stuff now, it’s phenomenal
This song always gives me soul searing chills 😍
Female emotion is unstoppable
You've got to applaud the taste of the young ladies of the time. they knew something special when they heard it.
I love how these guys , The Beatles , , , treated their fans they kept on smiling even if people tried to come along their way, , they were so nice guys..you can see in their faces that they were so happy to see many people surrounding them..
Timeless fun music listen to it every day thanks for the video
ua-cam.com/video/2N7Y85OxpMc/v-deo.html
They made my adolescence bearable.
Sept 12, 1964, my high school girlfriend was there. Afterward, when I asked how they sounded, she said, "I don't know, we couldn't hear them at all. We just stood on our chairs and screamed our heads off!" And that's the way it was 55 years ago.
It was,is and shall be for the next 50 years.
Boston Garden...13,909 crazed fans!!!
I was there at this very concert in Philly. I was 12. I couldn't hear anything other than screaming!
I love all the footage of them from 1964 and 1965 they they all looked so happy and having fun touring and performing for their fans during Beatlemania

The Beatles were a phenomenon.....every other group that followed were ...just a group!
And STILL a phenomenon!!!🌟🤩🌟
US Billboard chart for last week of January 1964 - Beatlemania begins in America
At #1 There I've Said it Again by Bobby Vinton
#2 Louie,Louie by The Kingsman
#3 I Want To Hold Your Hand by The Beatles.
New on the chart this week which would quickly zoom upward-
She Loves You by The Beatles
I was at the Sept 11th show in Jacksonville, Florida. What a wild show, a night I will never forget. The wind was blowing so hard at the Gator Bowl they had to nail Ringo's drums to the floor so his drums wouldn't get blown away by the fierce winds. Thanks for coming John, Paul, George and Ringo !!
hidenseek i wanna see them, unfortunately i cant coz half of them r dead, and i dont think ringo or paul is coming to Florida... i have to wait until next year, just to see if their coming or anywhere near that isnt far.
Beatles slammed the CCCp, they know it and some girls too
saw them 65 in atlanta...my first concert!
The pic of the girl crying while clutching the Beatles magazine at 3:05 perfectly captures the mood of the era.
I get high
Yeah got that something I thing you under stand something I want to hold your ✋
The Beatles were real troupers. They played mostly under very BRUTAL conditions (inferior sound systems back then, no stage monitors, screaming girls) and still pulled it off really well. Many other bands that followed years later would have REFUSED to perform under those ridiculous situations. What I described was WHY the Beatles quit performing those tours after August 1966. If you look up the word "talented" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of the Beatles.
WOW! The raw emotion of ''If I Held Your Hand'' rips me apart,..tears in my eyes....so stunningly beautiful, so, so gorgeous.
Un gran verano de1964 junto a los Beatles.
I want to hold your hand is just an amazingly powerful song.
I hate that song
IT is. Love it.
A beautiful melody
My favorite

That has to be the best LIVE RECORDING of 'I want To Hold Your Hand' EVER Recorded in a concert!! But all the songs are really clear!!
ua-cam.com/video/2N7Y85OxpMc/v-deo.html
No wonder the crowds went wild. The music is direct, intense, ecstatic, and rhythmic. Each song is a variation on that, yet each is distinct from the other. Many genres are incorporated into each moment.
ua-cam.com/video/2N7Y85OxpMc/v-deo.html
If I Fell is such a beautiful song, such an amazing melody; people tend to not give their early stuff the attention it deserves. No, it's not A Day in The Life but it's pretty amazing.
John could write some amazing love songs like If I Fell
Well John wrote both lol.
I was there. I was 12. My first concert!!!

It was a unique experience. And despite being very naive I screamed my head off in Houston.
Nostalgie quand elle nous tiens, se fut les meilleurs moments de notre jeunesse.
Good sound, not too much screaming. Great job, Rufus!! Many thanks. Historic footage.
I was at the vegas show and never heard them above the high decibel of steady screams. They were little ants in the distance from near the back from our floor seats.

I would love to get a CD of “ If I Fell”. Even though I was hard of hearing with 1 hearing aid during the 60’s, that song & music haunted me and stayed in my mind after hearing them

When they came through KCMO, they did about a 30 minute concert. I got to see it with my dad, brother and sister. I was small, but I remember it. The teenaged girls stood up and screamed the entire time. Probably the most profound experience of my entire life.

It was a magical time for the young girls of the country; our country was still suffering the dark throes of the presidential assassination 8 months earlier. the young girls in this video are now elderly women in their sixties and seventies. It is heart warming to watch this and recall. What beautiful memories.

I hope that some of the young girls immortalized in these videos got to see themselves years later to bring themselves back to that magical time.

Another facter about these phenomenal tours , was, that the demand for tickets was so great, that huge stadium's built mainly for sporting events, became the norm, from this time on, AND, it meant that Amplification, being only good enough for enclosed theater's. became monsters in Wattage output.

I wana hold your hand, ¡¡¡excellent!!!
