Watching this at 70 years old was so heartwarming. Those were the best years!!! We had it sooo good!!!

I’m 64 and yes we did!
There will never be any other artist or band as big as the beatles, ever
1963 1964 when the Beatles were at their best. I was a toddler then wish I could have been a teenager at that time. There will never be another group as great as the Beatles.
I was 6 or 7 when The Beatlesmania invaded
USA. I don’t remember
watching The Beatles
on Ed Sullivan Show,
but I watched The Beatles
Cartoons every Saturday. 😎
Seeing them answer these silly questions in such a light and good-natured way was part of their charm and, consequently, their success.
Q: How did you find America?
John: Turn left at Greenland
The Beatles could be a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon
I would say they were more like a flood: once every 500 or 10,000 years.
Once in a universe

Because it's black and white
One year prior the idea of a British band dominating the American charts was simply unheard of.
Yeah it went from British artists only ever having had one number 1 record in the States to The Beatles holding the top 5 positions in the American chart. Followed by the British Invasion.
I'm 18 and I'm in love with The Beatles specially John since I was 11, and I'm the only grandchild of the family that actually scream when watching anything about them, my grandpapa is proud of me, he said "thank God there's a mini me in this house" hchjxjdjdidjf OMGGG I LOVE YOU JOHN!!!!! I hope the spirit of the Beatles can be transferred to future generations!

When you on the front page of the newspapers every day and on the news every tea time every day for years, then you can say i was news worthy, but nobody has ever been that news worthy except the Beatles, they dominated our lives like nothing before or since,or ever will, and to have lived through that time is something to treasure, best days to have been alive was the 60s,the Beatles were the icing on the cake, and watching these clips takes me back to my youth, and suddenly im alive again.

Paul McCartney's step sister went to my Primary School in Lower Heswall. He came to take her home one day and the place just erupted. She walked right up to him and kissed him on the cheek. What a moment for her. We boys were like 'nothing to see here...'

No band can replicate this achievement ... they are really great and became millionaires... look at their witty answers they compliment each other
Most of the great bands from that era grew up together. Fine tuned their musicianship. Beatles did so by playing 6 hours a night at the Star Club in Hamburg or the Cavern Club in Liverpool. 1962-1963 they were playing in a different city nearly every night. That kind of stuff doesn't happen anymore. There are some great musicians individually but having a garage band and practicing doesn't happen much. If you are talented enough most of the time your band is formed through session musicians. I don't see a phenomenon like this ever happening again.
A mucho trabajo si dicen en documentales que iniciaron ganando 7 dolares la hora y pasaban muchas horas a diario trabajando Les costo muchos esfuerzos Eran jovenes talentosos muy maravillosos

I was one of the many fans who was at the London airport to welcome our boys back home…it was a freezing cold morning, but because there were Beatle songs blasting from all of the loud speakers that were placed throughout the rooftop, it made it even more exciting, and we all forgot about the cold. 🎵🎵🎵🎵
When Ringo says sarcastically "We love England" and rolls his eyes LOL 4:21
@Rosida Andriyana That's genuine.
I think you're missing the point of what he's rolling his eyes for. He's doing it at the guy asking the dumb question, not "we love England"

The BeaTles even made the police laugh. They brought joy to the masses.
my mum was there, she was 12 and she lived, and we still do, three miles from Heathrow. She and her elder sisters were there almost all night. She said it was amazing and insane, and even though there was a crush, she was too excited to be scared. she was just excited watching the boys touch down. i always wondered if it was a coincidence, five years later, she married my dad, who was from Liverpool!
What glorious days , can I go back in time ?? I just did. Thanks for great upload!!
I dont care what people say about john, to me he still the most fascinating human creature ever lived. I dont care if he straight, gay or bisexual he got a beautiful soul. His smile bring so much joy. No wonder why Paul says he john’s no1 fan because he just beautiful and fascinating.
Y tuvo un mundo dificil en su cabeza traumas y aun haci se supero Pero repitio su propia historia con su 1er hijo Julian
His smile is my everlasting joy
At the 2:36 mark, George remarks that the Beatles worked with "the audience all around us." No doubt that is a reference to their show, the first American concert, in Washington, DC at the Washington Coliseum on February 11th, 1964 where they played in what was essentially a boxing match set up. The audience was, indeed, on all sides. Ringo's drum kit was placed on a circular platform that the Beatles themselves had to rotate after every few songs so that they could face a different part of the audience.
They were so cute and giggly in the interview! Just love them.
And so young!
They were so talented, marvelous, and just so fab!
I'm 64 today. As far back as I remember the Beatlemania clips are just overpowering confirmation of what I instinctively recall @4. I still love the Beatles through endless stages of my history.

This brings me to tears, even though I was only 9 years old when the Beatles became famous! My dad yelled at me to get in the house, he insisted I watch them for the first time on Ed Sullivan show! I immediately fell for Paul ❤️😊I would love to go back and relive watching them with my beloved father. He loved them too, surprised me cuz my dad was strict military back then. I can imagine the reaction our elders had back then! I have loved the Beatles ever since that night. I believe they changed the world for the better! ❤
😀
I was only six in early 1964, but even at that age I could feel all the excitement stirred by the Beatles, because at that age you more or less take your cue from the older kids, and older kids, especially the girls (i.e., my friends' big sisters) were going crazy over them. Even the younger grown-ups, like my parents (29 and 31 at the time), liked the Beatles, especially my father, because he owned a club (a bar) and Beatle music was really good for business.

All those years ago we were asked to comment to a reporter from Pathe News inside the airport and I had to stop my friend from doing it as unbeknown to our parents we had hitch hiked all the way from Birmingham to welcome back The Beatles and we thought they may see it! Here I am all these years later scanning the pictures to see if I can find us! What a great memory this is!
@Pixie Pete unfortunately no . But fantastic memories !

4:16 “ is there any intention for you to go back to America”. Who knew what was to come.
"what money?" Lol
It's true. When they first started their manager Brian Epstein would only pay them a small weekly allowance and "safely held" the rest for them (unlike their later manager Allan Klein who basically just stole from them). Then when the money finally started filtering through HMC charged them a shedload of tax (including a "supertax" of up to 95%!!!) which led to George writing the song 'Taxman'. As they later said, "Everyone's making money off the Beatles except us".
Like the man said: "Back when income tax was all we had.."
@@brucelamberton8819 I think Brian Epstein saw something lucrative in them. Surely he was paid and even George Martin. In the end they all made out okay. But thank you George and Brian for letting us all know them. Loved their awesome sense of humor. They were so quick. They were CHARMING.
