93k. No spray in liner, no bed lights lol, no fender flares, no digital dash. Pricing is getting out of hand. Not enough options for the price of this truck.
Truth, but the fact it sold so fast says these prices are here to stay 😢
@@Stpete28bmb I'm not so sure. Overall sales are dropping, as we seem likely headed into recession. There will always be some buyers who aren't price-sensitive, but the problem OEM's are going to have is selling enough quantity at these exaggerated prices to generate adequate profits. Ram could offer this truck for $150K and still have *some* buyers, but probably not enough to make any profit. OEM's could find themselves in a world of hurt, very soon.
(To echo what other folks said, the absence of any bedliner on a $92K truck is mind-boggling.)
@@michaelramsey3643 no bed liner, no updated digital display, no fender flares … as a consumer this pretty much makes me sick. Yes, a recession is coming but like in 2008, this will not be a ‘fair’ recession affecting us all differently. There are so many side hustles now and people living off the government, this will not be a recession like everyone is thinking. Hard working folks will get hit, while influencers and gov cheese collectors will continue to buy these. Also, don’t forget banks are extending their vehicle loans, now out to 93 months! 🤣 Insane.
Thank God no chintzy Starship Enterprise fru fru milquetoast nance computer dash.
No inner wheel liners either
Absolutely insane that they are still using the 4th gen cab in the HD's.
Absolutely way overpriced! So disappointed with the state of affairs we are in. The average American witha decent job is unable to afford a fair optioned vehicle these days, let alone a base model which ate also overpriced. Unfortunately people keep buying! Well said JB! Thanks for the reviews
Yea it’s appalling, I was really hoping to see them change the pricing but they really are priced too high and they may be doing it to keep dealers from inflating prices 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork Thats a good point. My local Ford dealer just puts + $10,000 market adjustment on trucks, broncos etc...
@JB Reviews Possibly, I didn't think of that. It's just to bad.
That’s cause these dummies are so conditioned to live on credit and maxed out debt to income ratios. Slaves to finances. Nothing changes cause the masses are ignorant sheep!
@@JB_WhoWork It doesn't have much to do with the dealerships themselves and more to do with the fact that the book values of pre owned vehicles were so ridiculous. They aren't going to let pre owned vehicles sell for more than new ones. Keep in mind, while raising the prices, they lower the % between invoice and MSRP. So, dealers have smaller profit margins while the corporation rakes it in for as long as possible. Everyone dying to work factory direct is going to wish dealerships were back as soon as you get to work with the huge corporations who don't care about you at all. At least at a local dealership you matter, you don't matter to a multi billion dollar company. They will continue to raise prices as long as possible while cutting dealers as much as they can.
The prices are absolutely insane now. My dad bought his 2011 3500 laramie new for 43k. You can't even get a 1500 for that anymore.
Paid 32k with full extended warranty. New 2021 ford f250 4x4
What so crazy is the Stupid people paying that ridiculous price. I really don’t know witch is crazier the price of the truck are the person paying the price.
@@wango556 no you didn’t, if that was true than tell us this magical place and we’ll all go there buy them and flip them. Unless you literally bought the most basic of basic ever to exist
terrible comparison bro, its 2023... 12 year difference. Lots of things can change....
@@donnybobo8553 yep sure did right off the dealer lot. Come see it. But you would have to be smart how to get it at that price. But it looks from your comment your not smart. Gotta be smart with all the options. My truck is now worth 42k. 10 k of equity because of what COVID did to the market.
Ram is completely pricing themselves out of the market. These msrp numbers are going to push more people to buy Ford and GM trucks
That's just it.....MSRP....who cares.
@@brianwilliamson9404 That "S" means suggested and it is the reason I bought my 2022 for 51K !
Everything you said was spot on. Even the part about the redesign. You're right. They don't seem to care or plan to redesign and give us a true 5th gen HD. Price is wayyy too high. It is ridiculous.
What’s wild is that at $93k this truck is competing with HD Denali’s and platinums. I like my ram but for 93k I don’t know that I wouldn’t go with another manufacture. Ram’s biggest selling point used to be their competitive pricing and good option packaging. Many of the options you listed used to be standard on the Laramie.
I totally agree. I think that most all manufacturers are just taking advantage of everyone. Seriously if you want to buy a 93k truck and want to finance it for 5 or even 7 years. That monthly payment is off the charts. The only way any of the manufacturers are going to be able to sell their crap to the middle class consumer is by going to 10 or even 15 year loans. So buying a truck will be like buying a house to live in. That's insane in my old simple mind.
New 2024 Denali pricing released and it’s in the 6 figures as well as the limiteds from Ford but I’m sure the Ram limited and Laramie longhorn will be too
@@gbaby4rb64 the Laramie competes directly with the SLT. Imagine if GMC released a $93k 2500 SLT
@@Forestdawg1791 fully loaded I wouldn’t doubt the 2024 is in that range
Same truck is like $70k Msrp in Texas. I wonder where they’re sneaking the extra $20k in
Well it looks like I will be buried in my current truck. 93k for any truck is insanity.
I really enjoy your Videos on all of the different trucks as well because in our Family we have Rams GMC .Chevy Fords an Tundra and it’s good information for all of us! Thanks
Great video to show the truck off. I’m glad a got my 2021 Laramie DRW when I did! Nice job
Thanks for video. This is the first video I’ve seen showing the 2023 Laramie Ram HD. Shocked no fender flares or digital display.
Great job on the video! Looking at buying a new truck and this was helpful! Good luck in life!
Always great reviews! I do like the new mirrors as well and that they are power extend
etract.
My 2022 Laramie was 72k, had fender flares and bed lights. Big screen, no step. The good news about this being 93k is that mine will hold value in comparison. 93k is a lot, but I think it’s only gonna get worse with how inflation is.
agreed, same position. I have the 22 HO 3500
I wouldn't touch this truck for 93k to plow with and tow no thanks. Years ago this truck would have been 50-60k so why would I pay 43k over for a truck they were practically giving away in 08. I'll keep fixing my truck and wait for the market to crash when the everything tanks then they will be begging for a sale like they did with my truck. Bought in December 05 said this is what I want to pay 7k off sticker they said no way I got up and left salesman chased me to the door took my totaled truck for a 7k trade in and they paid the tow to get it there. I'll wait as should everyone else let them starve bring the covid inflation come back down
My paid for used truck is looking like quite the gem.
It’s nice the warranty got extended to 5yr/100k cause my 19 was only 3yr/30k
Wow, my fully loaded 2020 Limited DRW megacab with HO Aisin and 4:10 gears was right under 90k. So a 2023 in same trim with same options is going to be well north of $100k. I'm not a fan of the new mirrors, but then again I'm in moose mode only when towing. That hood though, I'll add to my 2020 and modify it to make the scoop functional. I'll hold off for the 2nd or 3rd year of redesign, if these type of trucks are still around then. Great video brother, enjoyed it!
Didn’t know you were from Beaufort. Spent lots of time at Hunting Island on camping trips growing up. I’m just up the road in Goose Creek. Love your videos! Keep it up!!!
The prices have drastically increased! I paid that for a 2022 Ram limited megacab 3500hd dually night edition.
I have a Laramie 21 and I agree the digital dash cluster should be standard on 23 models along with a heads up display.
This just made my '21 Laramie more valuable.
Naa the dealer will give you 34k for it. LOL
Canadian build and price allows 4:10 rear end with the Cummins, and cold weather is included standard with Cummins, there was another package I think it was Laramie 1 that had the digital display which has now been removed.
Still unbelievable to me that 2500 trucks are selling for almost $100k.
Good review!! Knowledgeable! Thank You! Pow👍pow👍😁
If you think I’d cough up $92k on a 2500 truck it’s going to be the Denali all day for me
Did they incorporate a telescoping steering wheel yet and fix the windshield from fogging up anytime used AC?
I think I like my 2021 2500 Laramie even more now.
Hey JB. Love the channel. How about some educated guesses on the invoice price of this truck as the employee discount is 5% below invoice.
I personally think no fender flares is a better option. At the end of the day they really are just stick ons from the factory for the most part and aren’t really weather proof offering no good way to clean underneath. This will make it prone to more rust on the wheel well which Ram is notorious for in my opinion. Other than that, the other missing options with the price is obnoxious especially with no powertrain updates. Shame to see them just changing smaller things and not updating what people really buy trucks for. 2024 will be a decision year. The birds can have 2023.
I bought after market flares for mine I like it
93k and does not come with a rental or loaner car when the truck breaks down at 2,500 miles. You'll be very lucky to get your truck back fixed properly.
I definitely like the new mirrors but I think I'll be keeping my 2018 Limited.
I'm with you, JB. I 'd love to see a heavy tow package! Currently have a 2015 Laramie 2500 with the Hemi and 3.74. Payload for a small 5th wheel but no grunt for the hills. Cummins would be fantastic. But there's ridiculously light payload capacity. GVWR constraints should be super easy to address at the factory.
7.3L Godzilla w/ 10 speed smokes the 6.4L Hemi. It's also built in 🇺🇸
@@27dmarshall Yeah. Well aware and thinking of making the shift.
Kris, I’ve got the 2020 2500 Cummings, go with a 3500!!
You do realize the 3500 is the exact same price? If you want a cummins you get a 3500. A cummins 2500 is a stupid truck because of the payload.
Painted bumpers rock chip like crazy!!
I would love to see him to do like for didn't go to all aluminum to help with the rusting issues in the weight
When I was building one on Ram website, if Level 2 package is added, the interior cluster changed from analog to digital. Is that systematic error since the sticker you showed us in the video has Level 2 package but still come with analog cluster?
So the 2500 and up models don’t have the digital dash? Only the Rebel 2500?
$92k for this 3/4 Ton and the Truck is still made in Mexico we’re the average Manufacturer line worker makes $28 a day. I’ll keep with my American Made Trucks. Thank You.
Visited a ram dealer the other day and the first two 2500s I came upon had misaligned body panels, and it was noticeable.
2023 super duty has this beat by far
Jeepers my 2018 Ram 2500 4x4 CTD Laramie night edition with more options was 72K and had 9k off at time of purchase, of course in 2018 they did not offer the 12' center infotainment display, but for the price difference I will be keeping my Ram!
When is RAM going to fully update the Cab on the HD's ?
I definitely like the look of the hood. Hopefully they fit on 2022 models 🙏. But yeah, 92k and no fender flares or running boards? Ridiculous.
93k and then taxes, license etc. etc. You’re at 100k crazy!!!!
I had to buy something 6 months ago. I looked at all the different Ram models/levels and basically what I was going to do with it work/towing. I ended up buying a night edition ram, 1500 Big Horn basically fully loaded. The only thing I didn’t have was the moonroof and I paid 58,000 for it which I think is a fair price even for now, but these prices are just crazy. BTW I love my Ram very sharp trucks
Can you get a 2023 with the old mirrors?
I just looked at a late model. 22 or 23 Ram Laramie Four by four in a parking lot it had vendor flares
Yeah I will be holding on to my 2020 2500 Tradesman Cummins...nothing here that I would miss.
Thanks for the video, good work. For most of us, let us know when the price drops below 55k.
Ok, I am stupid. What is the 12 pin hookup for?
Definitely like the new mirrors.
I have a ‘22 Laramie 3500 with a VERY similar option package. I actually have more options. Bed liner, bed lights, sunroof, power running boards, but I don’t have the 360 camera ($1100 option). I got it for $83k at invoice.
Maybe really depends my in-laws Laramie had no spray in basic tail light and the emblem I think illuminates …
Those prices are insane dude. I paid $96k CDN for my loaded 2020 Limited DRW. Seems like a really good deal now lol.
Needs a higher gvwr for more payload across the 2500 lineup. Plus the fenders back. Power tilt telescoping steering wheel. Change out those transforce for better tires. Bring the 1500 cab to the 2500/3500 .
Couldn’t agree more! How long before they put the new 1500 cab on the HDs? RAM is falling behind with that and the pricing strategy.
I agree about bringing the 1500 cab to the HD trucks. However, what makes a 2500 a 2500 is the 10,000 lb GVWR. Some of the GMs and the Fords 3/4 tons with higher than 10,000 lb. GVWR depending on your state, makes it extremely difficult to register or you face getting a fat ticket because of your towing or increased taxes. The solution is to make the truck lighter not bump the GVWR
I noticed on deliver, last week, that my 2023 3500 Laramie no longer has the nice metal plate on the door sill. The plain plastic looks like a base work truck. I just noticed, today, that there are no flares. I thought it was a factory mistake. The constant price increases are insane but until we stop buying, at these prices, nothing will change.
My 21 ram 3500 HO night edition fully loaded Laramie except power deployable steps, msrp was almost 87k. I can't believe this truck has less options and is way more expensive. I wish I could get the new mirrors on my 21
And the 21 MSRP is still probably 10 grand higher than the 19 MSRP for essentially the same truck. It's wild. stellantis is net negative on the brands.
Only think I can think of for taking off the fender flares would be to not make the vehicle have to have the marker lights
Bingo. Also theyre just rust traps
They’ve been able to swing marker lights and fender flares in previous years. I think this some of the same 💩 they’re all doing, making you pay more for less.
@@jeffs2809 I agree, I didn’t say it was the way to go I was just giving a reason for not adding the fender flares, fenders flares the marker lights and the harnesses for the marker lights saves them a substantial amount of money, while just telling the consumer it “allows for a slimmer profile and nullifying the need for additional lighting due to the reduced width of the vehicle“ and they show it parking in a parking spot between two 1500s lol 🤷🏾♂️#marketing
It has marker lights
I have a 22 back country. It's rated at 12000 pounds towing, thank you. They can keep that $92000 wonder.
I enjoy your reviews. I find it difficult to accept the payload capacity of 2,127 lbs when my 2012 F150 SC with HD payload package capacity is 2,170 lbs. I am looking forward to your reviews on your new 2023 F350 and GM's 2024 3500.
Your F150 didn’t have a diesel engine and probably wasn’t a high trim package like this Ram people also forget that this truck is literally 13 years old they have been using this same truck since 2010 Ram is insane.
@Dually Life 979 only thing from 2010 is the skeleton of the cab and the transmission
Ram is limited by the 10k GVWR. the truck is physically capable of much more, but Ram is too stupid to follow suit with GM and Ford and add a higher GVWR package.
WHO WORK 💪🏿 💪🏿 💪🏿
Where is the bigger crew cab???
I have a 2021 2500 mega cab limited longhorn. Beautiful truck, but no telescopic steering wheel, this truly is a let down on such a expensive truck. Can you confirm if the 2023 2500/3500’s have telescopic steering wheel.
I believe You need a level package on the longhorn and limited to get that wooden steering wheel as well they removed that wooden steering wheel and there’s no chrome door handles on the limited 😐
Love that color I should have picked it instead of Patriot blue
Been using the same cab and bed for over 13 years now on the HD platform. This looks basically like my 18. Got my 18 for $56K out the door… going to wait till the thing falls apart. These trucks just don’t justify their prices.
Well that’s a pretty truck for sure. I think the mirrors look ok too. But that price is ridiculous. And I feel like it should be noted that it’s down 75 hp to GM currently and in just a few months will be down 100 hp in the 3/4 ton segment. And then even more to Ford.
I saw an ad for a ram 1500 back in the mid 2000s that was starting at 16k😂😂😂 imagine that
Bruh... they out their MIND for that Price!!! BUT I'll definitely be waiting on that hood to throw on my '21 Ram 2500 lol
Same price as Ford. No air suspension offered
they are $83-86k down here in Louisiana
I like the new mirrors over the old ones that I have. The old style is great for towing but meh for regular driving and Im not moose earing around town. Pricing is still WAY too crazy so Im just fixing up the old 1500 to last a few more years til automakres come to their senses before I consider my next truck....sure Id LOVE and still very much need a 2500, but until the pricing comes back down for us normies Ill just adjust my loads to stay safe.
Hi, when you quote specs in lbs/miles could you also quote in kgs/klms. Just for your overseas followers.
Thanks.
Ps I've been following you since 2020 and purchased a 2021 2500 night edition here in Australia. Now on our second lap towing a 4000 ATM caravan.
wow that is 30k more than I paid for my 2019 2500 Laramie back in April of 2020
Dealers are going to start eating into their reserves with these prices.
I have a 2023 3500 limited HO Aisin on order from Mark Dodge for the same price.
Not too shabby though 😝
No sun roof, standard output diesel, no bed liner. $92Gs no way!
They're trippin' taking those fender flares off. I see it on the Billet Silver one next to it also (they changed the name from Billet Silver to something else but it's the same damn color). That's crazy dude. Looks like they changed the towing mirrors also.
Oh btw my sticker on my 2022 LIMITED LONGHORN was $1000 less than this. This is crazy.
I have a 2022 2500 Big Horn. There are a lot of small appearance differences inside and out in 2023.
I do like it without the fender flares
Agreed 💯 much cleaner look
Maybe if the truck had a new cab I could like it but this truck needs something for the side profile 👍🏾
headlights are also now reflector style instead of projector
The options and price on the new truck in this video are crazy inadequate. I ordered a 2021 Ram 3500 4X4 SRW long Bed. H.O. Cummins, Fifth wheel hitch from the factory, AISIN trans and Every option on the Laramie package except the sunroof and trailer tire monitor. Harmon Kardon, air suspension, upfitter package. Just everything. IT WAS $78,140! (in late 2020 of course).
Jesus . My 22 ram cummins mega limited was $92k msrp . Insane . All for gm mirrors and a Walmart hood scoop
I bought my 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn for $43,000 in May of 20 with 65 miles on the odometer. Friday I went to pick it up because it needs a new valve body and a recall repair with the tailgate. Parts are on back order, and they offered me $28,000 for this truck. It’s a nice vehicle, and I’ve got a few mods to it. Mainly runningboards and a topper. But this thing is lost almost half of its value in less than three years. Not a ding or a dent on this thing. Will probably be the last ram I buy just because of the depreciation.
If you give it a little thought they aren't going to offer you what your truck is worth because they plan to make a substantial profit selling it.

Waiting for an inbound 23 Dually limited night edition to arrive any day...MSRP $108,600....YEP...
Sad to see a Laramie at 92 when my 21 longhorn was 79
With the cost of things nowadays I doubt these prices will go down. The cost of parts.. electronics.. chip sets.. just materials in general. Add on cost for labor and insurance.. plus crazy interest rates.. it’s insane! Then you’re having to take it in numerous times to resolve recalls. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Who needs a 12 pin connector for trailers ? No flat plug anymore?
May as well get a longhorn, although the interior is sweet
I love the way the hood looks
Looks the same since forever.
Color match mirrors and Hood accents
I just factory ordered that exact truck. Only a 3500 and without all the towing cameras. I did add the block heater and the bed package. And the single cargo camera and light. Other than that it is identical. With my discount the price came to 82 and some change. A little over 87,000 out the door including taxes, registration plate transfer and dock fee. I think I did pretty good. I am seeing similar trucks that are 2022s for the same price as what I just paid for a 2023. I think I did pretty good. We will see in 4 months.
Unfortunately, the market is crashing, but dealers and OEMs are ignoring it. I hope you don't have a loan longer than 36 months, because you'll be underwater within the next 6 months when all dealerships can't sell trucks at these prices
@@chrisprociuk6387 I am hoping for some good incentives in 4 months because I will be entitled to whatever is in place upon delivery. I will be paying cash.
@@3500Turbo-D super smart to be a cash buyer. After tax season goes all wrong for car dealers, there will be opportunities if you know where to look for them.
