Thanks, Chris. This tutorial is so helpful, and you've really helped me understand the slider and the use of it a lot more. Thanks for your Premiere and After Effects tutorials. Keep up the great work.

why do I cringe and roll my eyes whenever any After Effects instructor right-clicks and works through menus just to EasyEase? Just hit frickin F9!
Everyone knows it but still waste multiple seconds slogging through menus multiple times during tutorial.

I used to teach that, but I got so many people comment saying that it didn’t work for them. I’m not sure if they changed their keyboard shortcuts or what, but I stopped teaching shortcuts and showed the full steps. I get those comments a lot less now

@@BrookerFilms I’m just being an annoying youtube commenter. 🙀 its just a pattern Ive noticed in most tutorials like this. Over the course of many hours of using AE those precious precious seconds add up…same while watching. I’ll bet I could have taken my cat for a walk several times over with all the time AE tutorials right-click and menu slog to EasyEase.
I mostly work in photoshop and have made actions that make a white mask and also selects a soft black brush…just so I dont have to keep wasting time selecting the brush and choosing the settings. Same with the action making a black mask. Over a period of time this all adds up.
      Enjoy your videos. ⏱️⏲️

Great video, thank you. But I have one issue, the scale change we do is changing the roundness of the shape so when the animation starts it's square edges and slowly changes to be rounded throughout the animation. Even on your video we can see the square edges on the left side at the start of the animation.
Do you have a solution for this? Since I'm using a fully rounded end, it shows way more than yours. In addition to the left side edges hanging outside of the stroke, the right side is also doing the same so throughout the animation, the shape of the right end moving changes from square to rounded. I'd like to keep it rounded it at all times as it moves across?
