I pay Adobe every month to present what the Element 3D plugin did 10 years ago as an innovation today. There are so many useful features that could have been added, but instead they added a few sloppy presets. And yes, this is what 2025 After Effects is all about.
3-D in after effects is a joke. Anybody who is serious about 3-D will be learning cinema 4D. Adobe is completely wasting their energy and their time diddling around with 3D… There’s so many more important things they could be giving us. All the stuff you can do in cavalry should automatically be an after effects. This after effects upgrade is a big yawn! Some of the new presets is good but most of it looks like it was a designed by someone who has no clue about aesthetics.
Or UE5. I am new to 3D and I agree with your point. 3D in Unreal is complex but a ton of fun, ngl. Also yeah thanks to megascans, and apps such as reality capture so that you can focus more time developing a scene rather tweaking or creating a model from scratch.
Adobe not improving the render engine, or rotobrush, or the color management... But, a counter preset, that feels so awesome guys... Keep charging monthly... You´re doing great.
How about a New Graph Editor, Lens flare (Current one is 30years old), effects on 3D layer without precomposing, live effects preview, smooth zooming in composition windows, editing of texture in 3d object, cache selected comps, ..... i can go all day

@@AdobeVideo just not getting any shadows when using the latest Beta version. Cast shadows and accepts shadows switched on various objects and tried using various renderers. Also the scene has lights. I get zero shadows.
They should read the feature wish list of gheyr own page and do.thst. folders, adjustmentlayers, workflow improfements. Noone of the dayly usres wants 3D!
3d features still nowhere near as good as element v2, amazing work team. what i actually want is performance and actual motion design features like enhancing how shape layers work. maybe something like fields like C4D has. the last great innovation was literally tapered strokes and being able to select any layer as a matte and those took like a decade. that is INSANE.
Change the purchasing prices. It is impossible for a representative of a third-tier country to buy these programs. Set prices based on regions so that we can afford to buy the applications!!!
Using gradient and strokes on text should be as smooth as Premier pro, In premier you can add multiple strokes in one Text, but in AE its more complicated and gradient ramp is not as smooth and customisable as premier

With the new color management in Adobe Premiere Beta, can i: (1) start editing in DaVinci and export in Wide Gamut, (2) then open the video in Adobe Premiere in Wide Gamut for better control, (3) and finally export in Rec709? It's because I used to use Adobe Premiere before, and the Dehancer plugin I bought is on it, not on DaVinci
Very good, guys. When will we have the option to individually manipulate groups or objects of the imported 3D model? Example: I want to animate all the car doors opening and closing. How do I do this without having to export everything separately to AE? Another thing that would help with the work would be an exclusive window to manipulate and create the materials of an imported 3D model. But there is no right way. I am liking the updates in AE.
1:50 Camera lens blur in this scene looks so bad as if it was done with compound or vector blur, not camera lens blur, which is weird, because usually camera lens blur gives you a nice look.

Isn't there a recent version 3 of the rotobrush that is a huge improvement?
