Such an enjoyable trip down "Memory Lane. My husband and I enjoy all your videos, we have been watching since 2018 and look forward to many more years.
I'm very happy, I found this video about your first road trip in RV ! It is 14 May 2020 now and I can say you are the king of the road! thank you for sharing Robert! 😎
I don't know how this video came up on my scrolling but I am glad it did. This is December 30, 2023 and it is enjoyable to see 👀 your first RV trip. Since I just found your channel this year, it is interesting to see how far you have come with your utube channel. Happy travels.
So cool seeing your first RV trip. Now look your still going strong with pelican heads and making cameos in commercial. Who knew. Love and appreciate all your video. Thanks
It's cool to watch some of your earlier videos, compared to your more current. I think you've improved a lot with your editing and overall pacing of videos.
Hi Robert in 1969 my parents would take up to White Castle in Miami off of Lejeune and wanna say Miracle Mile? Don't really remember exactly but we did have one back in the day. Thanks for your videos, my husband and truly enjoy them.
Great seeing your first trip. I would love to hear more about how you made the decision to travel and do the videos and when you decided to do it full time. You have come a long way in 10 years.
Awesome trip down memory lane. Been to “The Point” many times. Unfortunately the water show ended some years ago, but every other year a new ride opens. Time to come back and see what’s new.
My friend, I am familiar with Hialeah and the Miami area! I grew up in North Dade, my family camped all over the state of Florida when I was much younger. Glad you had a fun trip! Now that I'm older, I'm looking to rent and eventually buy an RV and do some travelling, myself!
Got half way through and my phone took a break... bummer. Your videos belong on PBS! We have a camper but come to think of it, we could park it and just watch you ! 🤗
Just found your channel a few days ago, My husband and I are your neighbors in Hollywood Florida. We have a 10 acre ranch in labelle Florida and we are working on getting Rv hookups… when they’re up, we’d love to have you stay for a visit; who knows, you might find a piece of land that says “Buy me Robert, buy me!!!” 🤣🥰
The Blue Ridge Mountains are so inviting, so much I am willing to go thru the Appalacchian Trail one day. I am training now working out 6 times a week.
10/16/18 Came across this oldie but definitely a goodie, lived in Sandusky,Huron, Vermilion areas about 40 some years ago, enjoyed the trip "home", been to CP many times. Oh one more thing, the hair was this during your rebellious stage, lol. Safe travels, Robert; keep em coming.
H Robert ! Can't get enough of what you do and film !!! Fantastic !! This is how we will start from NJ - renting a Class C and see if we enjoy it! TY TY TY ~~
Hi Robert we really enjoy your videos. Cedar point is amazing we did the season pass for a couple of years. We live maybe about 45 min await from it. If you decide to come back to Ohio you should check out Amish country in Fredericksburg and millersburg. Several cheese factories that are very good
I was wondering if you ever went to Cedar Pointe. We've been there twice, last year was the second time. Love hearing and see in all the coasters and kids screaming in the background! The east is a beautiful area. When we went to Myrtle Beach we stopped off at Mt Airy NC, the unofficial home of Mayberry and the real home of Andy Griffith. Very cool for a day trip. We also enjoyed Gatlinburg. And Mammoth Cave.
Loved seeing a piece of the AT. Up here in NH is the most difficult part of the AT. You should totally do a video on Northern New England. NH VT and Maine have so much to see. Plan accordingly you may find it cold even in the summer. (although fall foliage is worth it) We definitely do not have the Miami sunshine and weather.
Nice trip. I live not far from Winton Woods. Nice campground and park. Next time through Kentucky check out the Kentucky horse farm campground. Spend a day at the horse farm. Well worth the time. Great video.
Randy Curtis When I first heard him in the video where they are on the Blue Ridge Parkway, maybe a video made a year ago... I really thought he sometimes sounds like Klaus Kinski . ...a lot of people don't know who he is... he was sinister-looking.. there was even a cartoon character that looks like him decades ago.
By the way, your pictures of the campground under the full Moon that looks like daylight, and the shot with the falling star are FABULOUS!! Good work!! Also, the restaurant that you visited in Cherokee, N.C. "Granny's" is the BEST! And, the pronunciation of Cherokee is spoken with emphasis on the first syllable, "CHERokee."
If you had a meetup in Kansas City and wanted to check out Worlds of Fun, I have a season pass and you could get the lowest entry price and maybe film whats there. Worst problem is they charge 20 bucks to park unless you have a season pass. They are owned by the same company as the one in Ohio. Worlds of Fun has a waterpark called Oceans of Fun with a brand new 4 person racing waterslide opening this year after May 22nd.
Who is the rest of the "we" to whom you refer? What a GREAT video! I know this was filmed years ago but I really did enjoy it and look forward to watching others. Your voice is WONDERFUL, very expressive and so easy to listen to!!
+letsgettyup On this trip it we was my wife, step son and mother in law. Lately is usually just my wife and I. Thank you so much. I hope you like the rest of the videos.
Great video. Consider a 2005 or earlier model RV to buy. You will save quite a bit of money, get a great RV and be able to keep your sticks and bricks with ease. I saw a 2004 Shasta Revere 308WB at Optimum RV similar to what you drove on the video (but longer) for $24,950,00. It looked like a 30' coach. RV Trader is a good resource for checking out pre-owned RV's.
Thank you for the information. I'm thinking more of a small Class A, but it is still early days. For now the plan is to rent another Class C for a few days this summer.
TravelingRobert rvtrader.com is a good source for looking at a variety of RV's in different years, classes and sizes. I just saw a very nice 2006 Fleetwood Terra slide out 33' class A for $39,900. I enjoy your videos and I hope that you find your dream RV for a great price. I left a link of that class A that I mention above. www.rvtrader.com/listing/2006-Fleetwood-TERRA-32S-106696939
That was a great video. You made it interesting like a real documentary. Thanks for posting. I've been daydreaming lately about buying an RV and traveling the country for the rest of my life.
I live in Manchester, NH which is in central New England. People from all over the world come to see the Fall colors in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Boston is another place to visit. The Old North Church is still there in Phanuel Hall and there are many other sites to see there. Cape Cod is another place to visit. There is only one road in and one road out. The New England coast line starting in Connecticut though Rhode Island up through Massachusetts, the New Hampshire and finally in Maine can lead you right to Nova Scotia. The views are spectacular. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.
Sharing In shelbyville ky Mrs Claudia Sanders had a restaurant and it's still open. Style of services is they bring side dishes to table and in large bowls- this is a share type with everyone at table and then you order what type of meat selection you want. Very large restaurant and very reasonable
Restaurant is named Claudia Sanders and the Sanders lived a few miles from there. A few years ago there was a restaurant fire but they reminded and built back.
Its a great video,,, no doubt, in my personal opinion the missing part is only if you share some inside life of RV as well. I mean how you cook, watching tv, how was your life inside the RV.
I see what you mean. This was my first RV trip. I didn't shoot any video inside although to be honest about it we didn't spend much time indoors, we didn't cook much, and the TV was an iPad. I'll try to shoot more RV lifestyle related stuff in the future. Thank you!
+katrinacharlotte Hi, thank you. After all is said and done I was charged almost 200 per day, but they charge for the miles after a certain limit, so it may vary.
Robert you do this so good your the only one that I watch you have spoiled me thanks !
Boy, you were born to do this. I was very impressed with how great this was considering it was your first RV trip. Great job.
Such an enjoyable trip down "Memory Lane. My husband and I enjoy all your videos, we have been watching since 2018 and look forward to many more years.
This is a wild nostalgic trip rewatching your old vids :)
Never disappointed by you. You are a born entertainer. Always enjoy each of your videos. Many thanks Robert.
Wow.... you've gotten much better at your videos in 7 years, but cool to rewatch these...!😊
I've ironed out a few details over the years... I also have more music now
I live near Columbus and have done all of those drives over the years. Loved finding your first video and revisiting these places!
Great picturesque video and entertaining plus informative narration. Your accent just adds to the charm of the presentation.
Michael Muzar Hey, thanks!
I'm very happy, I found this video about your first road trip in RV ! It is 14 May 2020 now
and I can say you are the king of the road! thank you for sharing Robert! 😎
Next time you get Ohio, stop by Huston Woods and Rocky Fork lakes. They have very pretty lakes.
Wow your first video. Who would have thought that 10 years later you would be a UA-cam star?
Very good video! I can tell you put your heart into it and I appreciate that!
Really enjoyed discovering your video’s! Well done 👍

Thank you for a great video and love your narration of your trip.
Thank you!
Your Cedar Point episode brings back a lot of memories. I "lived" there when I was a teenager.
I remember these vids. You were a pro from the start!! I was watching these under a different name back then. So reminiscent.😊😊
Great footage, Rob! I felt like I was there every step of the way. Keep the vids coming.
Wow! Robert love the hair! The narration is great 👍love to hear the storm makes me feel like I'm there with you
Robert, we need this hairstyle back😎 Great intro video👍
Great job! I live in northern Ohio and you did a great job representing our area. There are even more coasters now. You should come back again!
Wow great throw back! I used to go to Cedar Point all the time, it is one of the few things I miss from up north. Thanks for sharing
You’ve come a long way my friend!
Really enjoyable video. I feel like I was along for the ride. Thank you! Keep up the great work.
"ALL ABOARD! Let's go...I'm hungry!" This is such a mood. LOL! 4:01

Hi Robert in 1969 my parents would take up to White Castle in Miami off of Lejeune and wanna say Miracle Mile? Don't really remember exactly but we did have one back in the day. Thanks for your videos, my husband and truly enjoy them.
Cedar Point was the amusement park of my childhood. Great nostalgia watching this. :)
That was a fun place, and a fun trip getting there
Great seeing your first trip. I would love to hear more about how you made the decision to travel and do the videos and when you decided to do it full time. You have come a long way in 10 years.

I have to watch the older movies on my phone and laptop, my roku is hung on the 1 from 2018... it's worth it tho! Thanks for what you do!
Thank you - after 51 years up here I've never heard cedar point described that way. I loved it and hope you and your family had a wonderful time
Got half way through and my phone took a break... bummer. Your videos belong on PBS! We have a camper but come to think of it, we could park it and just watch you ! 🤗
@@susankara7520 extremely educational ❤

Great video/ I'd be interested in the cost of your rv rental.
+katrinacharlotte Hi, thank you. After all is said and done I was charged almost 200 per day, but they charge for the miles after a certain limit, so it may vary.
That was beautiful my friend!!!
Robert Winkler Thank you. That was a great trip.
