    Finally, a Cyberdeck like build without a DROP of hot glue. And the cable management was artwork.

    Could you make a video in which you explain every part and what use it has.

      Thank you for the suggestion! I'm actually planning to create videos that delve into each part and their functions in the future.

    Cool idea, dont know how well all those antennas will do right next to each other. Might easier to just get one thing out of the bag at a time.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I haven't faced any issues with receiving signals like WiFi, ADS-B, GSM, LTE or GPS, which are decoded smoothly even with an internal antenna. The close proximity of antennas in my setup hasn't caused any significant problems. My tests across various frequencies have shown reliable decoding, indicating that for practical purposes, this setup is quite effective. While it might not be ideal for a ham radio operator needing to capture very distant low-frequency transmissions, for the tasks I perform, it's adequate. Nonetheless, it's definitely something I keep an eye on at all times. Using a single external antenna and disconnecting the others could optimize performance, It’s definitely a great idea. I'll consider testing this setup in future experiments to see how it enhances the system's capabilities. Your input is very valuable, and I appreciate you taking the time to share it!

    Would love to see a component list and wiring diagram

      I appreciate your interest! At the moment, I’m fully focused on building a new setup in a sling bag, so I haven’t had time to create a detailed component list or wiring diagram. However, I did upload another video where I show the assembly process, and all the components are visible there. I plan to add a detailed component table on my website as soon as I have some time to spare. When I’m deep into creating a new setup, it’s hard to juggle other tasks, but it’s definitely on my to-do list!

    My man for as neat and clean that is I only have one main question.... Is that a computer or are you building a cell phone network? To me seems a bit overkill on all the antennas and no screen or peripherals (keyboard/mouse etc). Also my concern would be getting radiation poisoning from having all those antennas strapped to your back.

    • @BAG.BUILDS
      @BAG.BUILDS  5 місяців тому +3

      Most of these antennas are for receiving only, not transmitting. The total output of all transmitting antennas combined is actually much less than half the power emitted by a typical smartphone. This setup is indeed a computer, designed to be used remotely via a terminal like a smartphone, tablet, or another computer. It can also be configured as a base station if necessary, but that’s not its primary function.

    And its carry on luggage, you just need to add some play doh to balance it out 😅 Great build BTW.

      @@BAG.BUILDS Still preferable to music that only 10% of viewers will enjoy whatever style you choose. A dubbed voiceover explaining the functions and components would be nice but the build quality speaks for itself.

    I hope the lattepanda doesn't overheat with its fan being blocked. Good job.

      The WiFi adapter doesn’t obstruct the airflow or block the fan. I’ve added a spacer to ensure it doesn’t touch the fan, even under pressure. I haven’t experienced any overheating with the Lattepanda, and I’ve set the TDP limit to 28 watts
