I’ve never seen that fan on the router spin :) By default, it kicks in when the temperature exceeds 85 degrees, I used this router in another build before, with the casing included, and it never went above the limit. Leaving the heatsink wouldn’t have been a bad idea, but in this case, it’s not necessary. The two fans installed on the frame constantly push air onto the router, keeping the temperatures well below the limit. I’ve never gone above 70 degrees, even with external temperatures of 28 degrees. The two hubs positioned on the sides of the fans channel the air under the SBC and then over the router. I've also never had any issues with excessive heating for the computer.
@@BAG.BUILDS I spent a good 30 seconds wondering why my audio was suddenly disconnected before realizing that there was just no audio on the video. It's definitely a oddity these days.
Yes, it's definitely handy to monitor multiple bands simultaneously. It becomes necessary if you want to listen to trunked radio systems, for example, or perform more sophisticated operations that require using multiple radios on different frequencies.
You should reupload this with talking points. Even if you don't want to use your voice... There are AI based website and softwares that can mimic a real person voice to the tea for free or paid... All you gotta do is type the words and a voice will read them out loud. I learn better by watch and listening for that reason I can't watch all of it because idk some of the items your using and what it does. It seems like you made this for people that are already knowledgeable in this field .. This doesn't help the new learner. Good luck friend
Since this is just an instructional video on how to assemble a product I sell, I thought commentary was unnecessary. But you're absolutely right, it would have been better with it. I'll include audio in the next videos, promise! 😊 Thanks for the advice.
@@BAG.BUILDS just saying, I thought my phone was broken when I watched the video. Altho it's still entertaining. You could put some elevator background music lol
We're making it out the airport with this one.
In theory, there shouldn’t be any problems, in theory… the important thing is that, in the end, you manage to get out anyway :)
That's a nice pack.
I had to put my own background music on because the silence was too much somehow. 😂
Tnx for sharing tho!
In the next videos, the situation will improve :)
was searching for this exact type of comment bc I wasnt sure if there was just no sound of if something wasnt working on my end. tripped me up lowkey
The pack and these frames are super slick, very nice work.
I bet that was fun to design and build. Looks very interesting.
This hobby has become an obsession for me 😄
I am slightly concerned about removing the fan and heat sink from the router, but there's some interesting stuff here.

u should have done a port on the outside for charging/output too :)
Ive been building one myself, this is like $200 in USB cables and adapters.
Coole Handschuhe ;)
😎
We are all now in some government list.
I hadn't thought of that! 😄
always has been
Your wardriving vs the wardriving she tells you not to worry about
I mean I am interested, I want to watch the video, but no sound no thanks.. a huge deal breaker.. keep up the good work though. great idea!
I just turned some background music on myself.
Was worth it because the pack is good.
@@gamebaked I didn’t mean music I meant voice over, commentary, explanation, thought process.. etc
@@yousefsaad3171 Oh, sorry xD
I can understand that no commentary can be a down site for people. I agree that it would've been nice.
You're absolutely right, it's not the same without commentary. I'll make sure the next video has sound, promise! :)

Now this is what I call mobile computing. You got enough radios to see everything going on.

Looks like I'm causing this kind of confusion for several people, no more silent videos from now on 🙂
