@@BucketPonds good day MR. ! After I saw your video yesterday.. I was determined to do it.. went outside and started trimming around the area and found my first guest.. a little turtle 🐢.. so I grabbed some scraps planks and black heavy liner also, put it together.. some elephants plants and pebbles to the mix.. by noon.. done and my first guest.. happy 😊!
Wow, all my years keeping mosquito fish and i had no idea they eat ramshorn snails. Good to know! i will go add some bladder snails instead to my mosquitofish kiddie pool pond. Thank you!

They make great nano ponds! Though I must admit, the Taro and Elephant Ears are hard to manage after a few years. Literally growing out of control 😅
Are you located in somewhere warm like Fl or TX? I live in Mass. I don’t think if I build one they will make it through winter
Yes I'm in Georgia, very close to the Florida border, but don't be discouraged. I bet there are some cool plants and things in your area that can withstand seasonal changes
I hope that pond doesn't attract any snakes. 🙁
Opossums and rabbits do visit occasionally but no snakes so far 🐰
