I learned that with soft suspension you need to line the car up and get a rhythm transferring the weight back and forth! I use to tackle the Tail of the Dragon in a 2000 Grand Marquis once a week. If you learn to control the floaty-boaty cars, you become a better driver!
I am on stock suspension and never feel stock is shaky at all. No moving around. When my PSS were shot, it was waggy everywhere, but once I put sticky PS4S heavy load variants with proper alignment and toe etc., no issues whatsoever. My wife actually feels my RCF is a bit too stiff. Body control is amazing on stock suspension where a 80 mph turn feels like a 45 mph turn and it is stiff enough without being overly stiff. No body roll at all when I throw it hard in turns. My views are very different on stock suspension. I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Extra Load variants on. I have two other Lexus cars and modified my other cars in the past with adjustable suspensions, but the RCF suspension feels perfect to me for hard driving. Stiff, but not overly harsh. Only thing I will change is, the bushings with RR racing for some more road feel and it will be perfect in my opinion.
I had a nerve injury recently will take quite a long time to heal, and I might have to sell my S14 because it hurts so much to drive... it has BC coilovers, really don't know a whole lot about this side of cars old trucks are more my thing but always wanted an S14 not for drifting per say but what should I do? Will it still be super stiff with damping turned down?
Spring rates also has a lot to do with it. You can always get springs that were close to oem rate but then it would be too little dampening. Setting it to lowest setting isnt always the best because it will unsettle the car if you ever planned to do spirited driving
Hi man urgent reply please... I increased the weight of my axle n bigger brakes n calipers n joints n I m using same springs so I think due to this the car is really bouncy n excessively jumps side to side so I think I m gonna hv to change to a stiffer spring? Please suggest stiffer dampers helped around me 20 percent but still there is unpredictability
Keep in mind, you´re not allowed to go as fast as you want just because there was a "no speed limit" sign. Alowed speed is 100kph. only on the autobahn there is a no speed limit sign that actually means no speed limit.
Ummm hey bro, what the heck? I though it is common knowledge that you should NEVER set coilovers to max stiff or max soft. Max stiff is dangerous because it makes your wheels lose traction over every road imperfection, max soft makes your car swing like a boat. Dunno, perhaps this model is idiot proof, so "max" is actually not that extreme...
So I guess he's set didn't have damping adjustmets? If he had them then on max stiff he's ride would have felt more comfortable and on softest his ride would have been more responsive?
This is my first hearing about this. I’m running low all the way on hard which is stiff I think and when I hit dips or imperfections I think it help with my control idk
The roads, roundabouts, and villages remind me of when I was stationed in England back in the day! Good vid!
Thanks. Everywhere seems like a quiet area.

Thank you for doing that I get my coilovers on Monday Mercedes dealership on Tuesday
Which coilovers are you running, I saw you also have a switch to raise and lower the front
I have CKS Coilovers. Really awesome coilovers. No extra clunking noises and handles really well when on stiff of course

Thought you were on bags? Is it just coils?
Hes on coils with aircups!
CKS Coilovers with air cups for front end nose lift.
I just want to know if it feels better on bumps
Softest settings made it bouncy over bumps
@@thehuangbros In a good way?
i thought roads in the united states were smooth until i installed coilovers on my car🤣
I just put some on mine i’m in NC and boy was this an eye opener 😭😭

Do you have springs or adjustable coilovers
Hi Huang coil Springs and shocks
Not adjustable
What is the extra fuse in your engine bay for? Usually I know those from sound systems, but your's probably does not need one :)
The one over the fuse box in the clear thing is for my aftermarket amp. The other one in the black is for my stanceparts air cup kit.
@@thehuangbros Fascinating, thanks! May I ask, why did you go for an aftermarket amp?
@@Sebb747 for the 2 8in subs in my trunk
@@thehuangbros Makes sense. Thanks!
Another good job twin! Excellent demonstration… high top fade is on point, those Germans can cut some hair 💈.
Lol
I didn't see the door shake I only saw the glue on the window haha. Comfortable but very unpredictable.
Lol the glue has been removed now
What about isf stiff on rear soft front?
Stiffer rear and softer front helps combat understeer
@@thehuangbros thank 👍

Softer settings are just for easy Sunday cruising, not race day. You needed a video to figure it out? must be an E-3
Nice car bro👍🏼
All this talk about stiff hard and soft let me go find my wife 😂😂😂
I like the softest settings when i'm going on long road trips.
Very useful video. Thank you!
Also the color combination of your car is amazing
@@zaker600 thank you! I really appreciate this nice comment!
