    Glad u tube showed you in search.
    Mine came off at drive end, so first attempt was to (gently) force, that end back on. Failed!
    Powering onto idler, instead of trying to catch at drive end, makes sense.
    After I back off locknut and shorten track adjustment screw.

    You should put antiseize on the bolt

    Jake - thank you for this video. I have an HT10BZ on the way which is very similar to your machine. It was great to see how easy you got the track back on. that was one of my worries. Thanks!

    At 3:50, why not loosen the big jam nut to make the adjusting/tensioning screw turn more easily?

    • @johnrawlinson5619
      @johnrawlinson5619 Місяць тому +1

      yes, you should. It's a lock nut. If you take it off and then take out the front idler and then the tensioner rod, you'll see how it all works.

      First timer here, I don't have a spanner big enough for the lock nut, can't get a socket on to gauge the size.
      Access window is so small
      It's a pain

    Great video thank you for that. What was the name of the tool that you used to expand the track to tighten everything back up? I didn’t look like a socket wrench. I haven’t seen that before. Thank you.

    I know a guy that sells these on the side, he says you don't have to loosen the track, just put it back on.
    He said you didn't loosen it to come off.

      @@denslod2930 you may not have to… but you should. Why put the extra strain on yourself and the machine to avoid 2 minute of turning a wrench? 🔧

      We didn't remove the track it was ripped off by accident using power, forcing stuff isn't a great solution
