I absolutely love NYC. As a Brit I've only been once, but that was for a week back in 2004. Such a fantastic city, with such friendly people. I spent all 7 days going around the 5 boroughs. Precious memories. Thank you for sharing and reminding me of happy days.
I'm fascinated with the Brooklyn Bridge. Amazing structure. And the brownstone houses in Brooklyn that always seem to be in American films from the 1940s or so, fantastic buildings. Looks like a huge area on Google earth. Don't think l'll ever be in the U.S. now, too old, but l can dream. 😊
the view at 5:02 passing under the Brooklyn bridge and you got the buildings across the river is amazing for real and the manhattan bridge once you make the turn under the brooklyn bridge popping up is beautiful heck all the bridges here are beautiful the architecture of the buildings and the clear skies are incredible. i've driven on FDR drive once those drivers are no joke you gotta drive for yourself and if you could drive on there with that madness you can drive anywhere you are definetly a dedicated person Johnny that's for sure thumbs up to this video

I was a sales rep and NYC was part of my territory, at first I thought I would be intimidated and was somewhat worried, but after 6 years of traveling throughout all of the boroughs, including Long Island, NYC is very special and I love going there for the food, buzz, shows, Times Square, museums, and everything else it has to offer. It is one of the greatest places on earth!

Whenever I come to NYC, I stay with friends in Brooklyn (who have a garage big enough to store the motorcycle that I keep there). As a lifelong Yankee fan, I ride up to lots of games in the Bronx, and this is the way I usually go, so as to dodge the toll on the Triboro. This trip never gets old!

SoCal here. Last time I've visited NY was 1986 and had a great time. A lot has changed, but it brings back memories. Next time I go there and need to actually drive, I'll know who to email. Those pits in the road look wicked though!

Born and raised in NYC. Left in 2004. Moved out west to Southern California. Between L.A and San Diego. The best move I ever made. The highways didn't change a bit. That's scary. NYC is a great tourist spot. That's all. I come one a year for a week or two. Come to see some family and friends. Hang at my favorite spots and then leave. Now I look at the mountains and beaches on my drives. Also great year long weather. You have no idea how big a difference it is.
I mean, you could make the argument than California has substantially more issues than NY. The weather in southern California is definitely nice, especially between LA and San Diego. But California has a ton of issues. I've only visited CA but would never live there over NY.

Where is the beautiful landscape? I look at mountains and beaches everyday. Last week, I drove up the mountains, to Big Bear. To see the snow on my terms. What choice do you have? Drove back down to 70 degree weather. You have no idea, what good living is. But to each their own.
From 6:30 to 6:35, you can see the three very deep sewer pits at the foot of the elevated expressway. I always make sure to stay in the left or center lane instead of the right. They are deeper than some of the worst potholes and the city designed them like that for drainage purposes. They will definitely bend or crack your wheels if you go at normal speed.
As someone from England who has never been to New York before, I would have welcomed a short commentary to let us know exactly where we are in the journey and maybe highlight some places of interest as we go along. But the video was great. Thank you.

It’s mainly just freeways and the roads in Manhattan with heavy traffic. That’s why just stick with the metro card, which allows for buses too.
