On the Special Side, Pikachu's base 50 spatk results in 112 spatk before light ball, 224 spatk after light ball, making it an effective base 152 spatk, under the same conditions as mentioned with physical attack before, with spatk boosting nature instead.
The only Gen 1 pokemon that has a higher in battle special attack than Light Ball Pikachu is Mewtwo
This is precisely the reason we should all be thankful that they never released the absolute war crimes that the Partner Pokémon from the Let's Go games are.
Pikachu's offensive stats were bumped to 80 and 75 respectively, and he has a Electric type Extreme Speed that boosts his Evasion by one stage, a Flying type move that has Iron Head flinch chances, and a WATER move as an electric type that has Discharge Paralysis chances. And that's just Pikachu alone being the offensive one, since Eevee is far more supportive with its signature moves

@@shadowbanningcommentssucks3551 Problem with this even if it was given all these there's always one big problem with Pikachu even with Light Ball, Buffed Stats, and Moves. And that would be it's Speed and Bulk if you run Light Ball you can't run Sash to Help it Live a Hit since it's Bulk is Paper Mache and it's Speed is just Shy Below of Base 100 Plus.
So many things would still Outspeed and Kill it without Speed Control of Some Kind. Whether this be Tailwind Webs or Boosts and if you Run Boosts again you would need a Sash to make that consistent say with Agility. I guess the Priority Move would Significantly Help but it would be like Scizor Stuck Spamming One Predictable Priority Move which even with all it's damage still needed boosts do to it's typing.
Especially considering it's Speed Tier with Regular Priority it would basically be locked into one Easily Out-playable Type Spam at least Steel Type for Scizor Spam would even if not Always being at least Neutral Damage would still not have anything Outright Immune to it.
It's so easy to stop a Electric Type in it's tracks. And if you don't have at least one member who can basically Hard Wall it that's sad as Steel and Ground should have at least One of Either on Any Team Practically except specific Whether Archetypes like Sun for Steel.
I have never seen Sandy Shocks Tera, the fact the Tera Hat spins like that is kinda cute lol
Worth mentioning at 16:55 that Sacred Sword ignores all changes to the opponent's defense and evasion; including negative modifiers. This means Leer has no impact on Sacred Sword damage.
Mirror Armor blocked it for that entire side of the field anyways which is insane, that ability is so good lmao.

@@FumoisFumo4454 Similar to Rampardos, Light Ball Pikachu's power is honestly absurd, however due to not having the speed or defense to back it up, you rarely get a chance to actually use it before getting knocked out. Ultimately making all that power useless.

That sandy shocks could've run flash cannon or terablast, but it chose to use heavy slam even though it's not heavy, it has base 81 attack, and it was intimidated 😂

@@MDH-xe1ry No, it does not. Base 55 Atk translates to 110 Atk at Lv100 + 5 points that are added by default + 31 from IVs + 63 from 252 EVs + 10% from nature = 229 Atk * 2 = 458 Atk, the same as a Pokemon with base 159 Atk

I actually built a Pikachu team recently under similar circumstances (asked my friends who to build around) but went a completely different direction with it. Ended up using it as offensive redirection support with Lightning Rod for a rain team, and it's actually been working really well? Don't sleep on the rat y'all
Back in Gen 7 I won a 20-ish player PC with Pikachu/Tapu Koko, using Discharge spam
It's lost quite a lot of things that helped it work then, but Discharge Lightningrod shenanigans is proabably still its best chance of winning

It ignores their defensive boosts, not stat changes, similarly to Flower Trick using crits to ignore defense boosts and bypassing evasion boosts via guaranteed hits- although Sacred Sword can miss due to non-boost based Evasion.
@@furiouscorgi6614 It's not similar to Flower Trick. Sacred Sword does ignore the targets defensive and evasive stat changes. Can't miss against a minimize boosted Muk on that god forsaken smeargle team. However, Sacred Sword can still miss against Snow Cloak Articuno in Snow with how snow cloak lowers opponents accuracy and not the owner's evasiveness. But Flower Trick bypasses the accuracy check entirely.
