The "pro cyclist" in the 80s,were actually stronger riders! Stronger physically! Modern riders are privileged brats, that break easily 😅 I'm sorry,the oversized tubing doesn't look nice to me,and full integration, sure, let's complicate the maintenance for the rider...😌 Greetings from Croatia 😎
Shame that these idiots buying carbon bikes can't be convinced. They say the carbon layup provides a tuned ride much better than steel but they don't know, they are just repeating the marketing BS. If I hadn't had a builder here in the US make my titanium frame two years ago I would be in the market for a Portofino, but I'm perfectly happy with my bike and it rides better than any carbon bike I ever owned. I can ride all day if I want to. Fit and the tubing does make all the difference.
