- CLEAN or DiRTY?! Which way looks better to YOU? The Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer (UDR) has been in my shop for two weeks - and I have been itching to #GETOUTSiDE to have fun with RC! As our viewers can see, there are metric tons of snow to melt. So, in true RCSparks Studio spirit - I fired up the Radio Controlled Cat 242D Skid Steer.. and got to work clearing off the snow from our Race Track.
This way, I can help the surface start evaporating some of the moisture.
This has caused a HUGE amount of water to start accumulating. It was going to happen no matter what.. and so I'M TAKiNG OUT my UNLiMiTED DESERT RACER! Its a waterproof 4x4, that is MUCH larger than the Traxxas Slash, and is a complete redesign! What an amazing rig.. the Traxxas Stability Management is shocking in its ability for me to Burn Rubber doing Endless Donuts, and Race on the most slippery of Terrain. Super cool!

the inside fenders of my traxxas slash are so dirty from even indoor racing. tire dope helps, but it makes a mess, but Dirt is WAY more fun
It’s prettier when it is clean, but the mud means your enjoying yourself.

Great to see the udr working hard,enjoyed a mud bash myself yesterday. Was surprised how little mud got into the truck when I stripped it down after. Excellent muddy video,look forward to more. 😎👌🖒🖒🖒
countryside Radio control oh God. I have mine for a couple days now and had a run at the beach and on some kind of gravel parking lot. The underside of this truck looks like I abused it for months. I have sand everywhere. I showered 3 times with it and still tiny stones and sand coming out of it. The bearings where full. It’s everywhere. I’m never getting this truck clean again. The screws are rusting so I covered everything in wd40 again. Cleaned and put lithium grease from wd40 in the can on every part that I assumed needs grease 😂
How do you take care of it?
I absolutely loved the slo mo!
I solely agree. This is one of the only times I have seen slo mo used correctly in a youtube video. This may only be a RC related channel but you sir have big movie production values written all over this and your other videos.

That is a good title. Also it is always fun to watch you run the full size RC skidsteer. The UDR looks great too. It was sooooo clean. For like two seconds of the slow motion haha.

noticed you have some rub going on between the body and the tires. Just a fix that I did with my Slash's, beverage can of your choice and make a plate on the body to keep the tires from burning through too soon. Just a little rectangular patch and Shoe Goo'd on.
I like my Slash's now that I have them set up, but pretty stoked to get one of the UDR's.
