My experience with the “opposites attract” is that it won’t last long. INFJ craves intimacy and we are introverts. We can be surrounded by our small tight group of friends, our people; but most of the time will choose home. Being in a relationship with an extrovert person is extremely exhausting, so it is in my experience better and more peaceful to be with someone who shares similar personality. I have found my INFJ and we’ve been together for 5 years already, never fight. It is blissful.

It is vital that a person spends some time gathering important and helpful life experience (just as exp is important in an [MMO]RPG), with the intent on becoming increasingly complete. When they've made significant progress to that end, they become applicable for a relationship with a real INxJ. The higher a person's sexual experience, the more emotionally disturbed they must be. The sexual sensation is a distraction from their internal demons! Avoid at all cost! Especially the ESFJ, ESFP/ISFP, and cluster-b (it's a human-hating disorder). Any deviation on ESFP/ISFP, and ESFJ, i.e. if they seem decent, it is either a lie, or solely due to external influence; because internally they are naturally covert-narcissits/cluster-B.

I am an ENFP, my husband is an INFJ. There is no better feeling than the one you get from a relationship you can feel safe being 100% dedicated in and absolutely sure feelings are reciprocated. We've been together for a long time, have 3 kids together. A few things I can say to any ENFPs out there who love an INFJ; give them all the space and time to make up their minds, support them once they do. Give advice without any expectation, less is more. Healthy boundaries yes, ultimatums no. Nurture their growth and appreciate their ideals you share together. Never force them to do things at someone else's pace. Oh and you won't hear them unless you are listening with both ears. Have faith in who you know them to be and never make assumptions. It means so much to have someone take the time to really know them versus someone who tries to mold or tell them who they are. Fully accept that person once you see them. Make them laugh and spend lots of time alone together. If are truly good together they will return everything you give. There is nothing I love more than seeing him grow while I do the same myself, separate yet very much so together, taking steps towards what makes us happy.

I may be conflict avoidant, but I also hate it when people don't say what they think clearly, so honestly (and I feel it's especially true as I get older), if there is unresolved conflict hanging in the air, I will be the one to bring it up. I will do what I can to make it a calm discussion, so it does NOT turn into a real "confrontation", but my need for honest communication will trump my need to avoid conflict.

I may be the exception to the comment below as I was married to an extrovert for 42 years until his passing 6 years ago. We met and married very soon afterwards so it was difficult at first but we grew together and were regarded by others as soul mates. The downside is now being alone when, having given our all, we find ourselves lost. I for one cannot cope especially as, childless, I have now lost my parents, my sister and even my cat. I miss them all dreadfully and 5 years from the last family death, a year since losing my cat, I am lost in a sea of grief. I don't need, nor want casual, shallow friendships but I am utterly bereft. I would like to know how other INFJs deal with such loss. Thank you.
You could start by socializing with people who have faced loss. Divorced, widowed, or parents sent to home stays for the elderly, etc. There are many people out there who will be willing to give motherly, fatherly, feelings, or wanting a mother etc. Learning about others'pain could also relieve by sharing the pain and helping etc. Since you have endured this for so long you could tell others how you did so. Consider writing free content first or making your blog, etc? I am really sorry for you. I hope you can find happiness and solace, calmness and peaceful breathing in your life. A pet that will maybe live longer will help. Pets that have been abandoned or stray animals needing help etc. Write,. ✍️ and relieve yourself of some pain and try socializing. Give me an ENTP any day, any time. The video was spot on about it taking time for us to know what we need. It took a lot for me to realise that they were the best for me personally. I'd always gone for fellow introverts like myself but I'd end up doing all the work because I actually enjoy doing couple things despite my penchant for being reclusive. Also, fellow introverted types aren't as experience adventurous as we are, with the exception of introverted sensors of course. I do best with intuitive types. I realised that based on my past patterns, ENTPs and I always effortlessly got along. I love their intelligence and wit, and they always just know there's more to me than meet the eyes. As an INFJ, I had found 'The One', the following feeling encompassed my whole being of being drawn to her and only her, sure she wasn't the most beautiful, but she was even better inside. The problem was, I wasn't her 'One', what I found out after we broke up was - I was the rebound guy. Ever since then, I have never felt drawn to any other female, no matter how well they dressed themselves up.
I'm happy I found my INTJ 💖 I find the "Thinking" aspect of them actually compliments me well, and helps ground me sometimes since I'm an INFJ-T. I don't really use Discord but I usually just do the MBTI test and love languages test with new partners so we're able to provide love for each other that is catered to how we internalize love from others 💖 tho I met them 4 years ago now so I'm sure things are different nowadays in the online dating scene haha
True, my innate principles guide me, and it's emotionally exhausting to override those principles when there's conflicts. I didn't even know about those innate principles when I was young, and it's not like I made up those rules for myself to adhere to, although I know that what I set to do in my mind, I can, but in the long term I realized what I say to myself isn't fullfilling me like my innate principles. For I made that big mistake when I was young, and it's so hard to reverse, and I may keep trying to reverse this regret until the very end.

As an infj I've always been drawn to mysterious people. If I am not able to easily read or observe someone, I will get more curious and approach it as a challenge. People who are predictable or easy to read aren't as intriguing to me.
What are my thaughts? I've done the test a few times. First time I did it, it was homework for level two persons centered therapy. Never heard of it before. I did it. I was an infj. A couple years later I looked in to it and I loved the idea of being an infj. I did the test again and again and still infj. Your video is Spot on.

I met a lovely ESFP who’s so empathetic and kind. Our main differences is he’s clingy and needy and is struggling with my alone time. I have slowly tried to transition him into spending a little extra time with his friends while I concentrate on work but we do a lot of in between time with many conversations and a few debates I like to talk about. "the one" does not truly exist. In the end everyone decides on their own if the person of interest is "the one". Love is a decision we make everyday. If we feel mostly joyful of our partner or a certain person then it is a healthy love. So don't worry "the one" is in the end a person u choose urself and if u r lucky this person chooses u too and that everyday.

Yep thankyou for recognising a potential weakness. INFJ’s are not infallible and I have struggled with the arrogance plus mirroring aspect. I’m an ENTP but contrary to stupid sterotyping, I hate conflict. Enjoy calm discussions and earnest introspection from both parties.

As an INFJ, I had found 'The One', the following feeling encompassed my whole being of being drawn to her and only her, sure she wasn't the most beautiful, but she was even better inside.
The problem was, I wasn't her 'One', what I found out after we broke up was - I was the rebound guy.
Ever since then, I have never felt drawn to any other female, no matter how well they dressed themselves up.
I think an INFJ with another INFJ is perfect..they understand what the other needs as they need it themselves.
I'm happy I found my INTJ 💖 I find the "Thinking" aspect of them actually compliments me well, and helps ground me sometimes since I'm an INFJ-T. I also used to be with more extroverts in my past but personally they never lasted very long, and being in their presence became more draining, but with my fellow introvert, I feel like we heal each other more than drain 🥰

@Desert Forest haha tbh i think it just depends on who you meet! I met my partner on Tinder initially, but it turned out we lived a couple of houses down from each other! I don't really use Discord but I usually just do the MBTI test and love languages test with new partners so we're able to provide love for each other that is catered to how we internalize love from others 💖 tho I met them 4 years ago now so I'm sure things are different nowadays in the online dating scene haha

True, my innate principles guide me, and it's emotionally exhausting to override those principles when there's conflicts. I didn't even know about those innate principles when I was young, and it's not like I made up those rules for myself to adhere to, although I know that what I set to do in my mind, I can, but in the long term I realized what I say to myself isn't fullfilling me like my innate principles. For I made that big mistake when I was young, and it's so hard to reverse, and I may keep trying to reverse this regret until the very end.

As an infj I've always been drawn to mysterious people. If I am not able to easily read or observe someone, I will get more curious and approach it as a challenge. People who are predictable or easy to read aren't as intriguing to me.

So funny that with the limited number of people we run across in our lives we can find "The One" I assume odds increase if we are always present being the authentic, complete, whole person we are. No easy task, I certainly have my moments for one! LOL And then there's online dating...but that could be an exhausting full time job that so far I have not been able to commit to.
"the one" does not truly exist. In the end everyone decides on their own if the person of interest is "the one". Love is a decision we make everyday. If we feel mostly joyful of our partner or a certain person then it is a healthy love. So don't worry "the one" is in the end a person u choose urself and if u r lucky this person chooses u too and that everyday.
