No, thank you for watching! 😁
Thanks.
I hope you found it helpful!
I’ve always had a difficult time finding this and actually just used KD3 as a sub (awful I know), because I never felt confident finding KD6. I blame my foot’s anatomy. I have no trace whatsoever of any tendon around my medial malleolus and I can’t find a divot or any sign of a point anywhere near where KD6 is. This an LV8 are two points that I will never know if I’ve found. 🥺
Yes, KD6 can be a tough one to locate when the anatomy outlined in the video is not so obvious. Thankfully, you will be working on feet other than your own most of the time when you are in practice! Try putting your finger about 1 cun below the tip of the medial maleolus and then invert the ankle - this will often provide more of a depression where KD6 is located.
I'm hoping to do a video on LV8 soon so be sure to stay in touch. Thanks for commenting and for watching!
@@acupuncturemasterclass thank you for the pointer! I’ll feel confident going with that area in the future, even if on myself it’s minuscule! Will keep an eye out for LV8 vid… appreciate the knowledge you’re sharing!
Liv8 put your finger on the bony side of the knee level where you think Liv8 is. Then roll your finger towards it until you feel the flesh rather than bone. It's here Liv 8.
@@Random-xw1fg I’ll try this. Thank you for your help!
I saw another video yesterday that is great to locate Liv 8:
Bend the leg
Put your finger on the tip of the crease
Then open the knee/leg to 90 degree
Then move your finger around half a cun proximal. Liv8 is there. I tried it on myself and found it great. Let me know what you think.
