    Can't thank you enough for this video.. my husband just had a radical prostatectomy surgery, and post recovery has come with aches n pains.. his sciatica nerve seemed to be troubling him, with pain radiating all the way down from hip to ankle.. I looked for an appropriate relevant pressure point for this pain (as a layman) and came across your video, after going thru some others.. your explanation is so precise... I just winged it by giving him a 5 min pressure on this point, and his pain is completely gone, after suffering for three days, he can't believe it ..
    God bless you, Sir

      You two took the words right out of my mouth. LV 8 and KD 10.
      Btw I've also seen 2 variations of SI 7 on both sides of the ulna, dorsal and ventral.
      Funny thing, in my experience SI 7 usually feels sore more often on the ulna ventral side more proximal to the HT meridian.

      Daniel, thanks for your reply! There are many points available which describe what you are referring to. I don't think there is just "one" point for the problems you listed. However, points such as Urinary Bladder36, UB37 and UB57 may be beneficial. You also may be interested in trigger point therapy or dry needling techniques. These techniques are quite helpful at reducing tension in muscles to enhance more range of motion. Thanks again for watching!

    • @acupuncturemasterclass
      @acupuncturemasterclass  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the question, Amal. Traditionally, acupuncture has been considered a treatment for gallstones. Today, however, it is best to consult you medical doctor - especially if you are experiencing a gall stone attack. Traditional points to consider would be Gall Bladder 34 and the "extra" point, Dan Nang Xue (a tender location just below GB34). Needling these points on the right side of the body is often recommended but needling bilaterally is fine. I hope this was interesting for you! Thanks again for watching.
