This can be easily a SOTY, everything is perfect in this comeback, the music video, the visuals, the vocals, the power that they move as a group and individualy is SUPERIOR.
This was kpop greatness. If anybody knows anything about the golden age of second gen girl groups because you either were there to witness it or you went back after, you will understand why I said that. IVE is KPOP. It sounds like a redundant statement but if you get it, you get it. No wonder they are so popular in their home country when they are the FACE of what kpop is about. When other groups westernize their sound or bring back western nostalgia, IVE is going back to the days when kpop started creating it’s core identity, which is the late 2000s-early 2010s. This release was not only nostalgic in many ways but also refreshing. And after the unjust hate train they experienced for the past couple of months, it was triumphant and glorious. For them to literally tell you ‘THIS IS WHO I AM’ and for the song to be this sickining is kinda crazy. This is NOT the flex people think it is, it’s not them showing off the money and the awards, they are flexing something else, which is the fact that they are carrying a legacy of extraordinary kpop girl groups. This one was for the culture of kpop. Period. It’s iconic, it’s a statement, and it’s with their FIRST album. This is them cementing their role in this generation of kpop which is shaping up to be the renaissance of girl groups. Second golden era, and IVE, is one of the leaders.

Best comeback since eleven. Its obvious that they put a shit ton of money into the production, the works, the mv but the vocals are what really stands out here. I also feel that this is the first track in which we actually see them developing and maturing as idols.

I love the direction IVE is taking with their concept, every release they've had are so different from one another yet their initial elegant concept is always there. I AM made me cry several times, there's something so triumphant about this song, I don't really know what it is, but the last bit made me cry so much
You really have to hand it to them that they are sticking to their chaebol concept and doing it exceptionally. Each time they manage to put a different spin to it. But this feels like a peak moment because it feels more mature, in a sense that they're not just a shallow, rich and carefree but self assured.
I really recommend listening to the whole album! It's a no skip for me asdfghjk Also this album is very special cause wonyoung wrote two whole songs- Mine, Shine with me(first song for the fans very very sad lyrics) yujin wrote one whole song - Heroine gaeul and rei wrote their rap part in 4 songs - Kitsch, Hypnosis, Next Page and Not Your Girl
'Shine with Me' really made me feel extremely emotional my GOSH. I hope, next time Wonyoung writes her own fan song again or song about herself, she'll be able to put out that she's happy and proud with herself. I just wish her and all of the IVE members the best, they seem very genuine
It's only April and we got some amazing songs already. This slaps at such an elite level. The thing most new kpop fans really have to get used to is the hi-notes compared to lower range in western music. This is what I'd throw at them. It's amazing and ive just brings it. The "I am on my way" stuck in my head 😭 this album is amazing, definitely unskippable album, their amazing title track (they're proving their existence as group with those vocals and lyrics, challenging for them but for live version but it's worth it), all their b-side are really good, the concept and choreo are pretty, they're really did a good job ✨

I have only used the word “masterpiece” one time for a comeback. This is the second time I have used it. This comeback is a masterpiece. Everything was PERFECT. I don’t think you could have asked for anything better. I’m not a huge fan of IVE, but I have been here since the debut and I haven’t been disappointed yet. There is one question though. Is it too early to say SOTY?
I have always got the vibe that IVE has these very Mean Girls/Regina George aesthetic with 'Kitsch' and 'Love Dive' like rich prep school and 'I AM' is a very expensive chic fashionista aesthetic, like I think Versace or Chanel. The vibe that's like "Yeah I can go to Paris anytime I want and I can buy everything I want😏" like them using a black card, I wouldn't be shocked if they actually had one, especially Wonyoung and Yujin for the amount of money they make. They have had trouble in the past, with not precisely letting some of the members shine as much but this song just definitely solidified them as IVE!!🔥I hope to see more comebacks like this, they sound amazing

I'm in love with this song, it gives me fresh but nostalgic vibes in the best way. I feel like they've had so much growth even in just a year. A mixture of the success and hardships even at a young age. Not to mention they've been attacked for their skills, beauty, everything but STILL give us the best music and concepts. 👍

I have only used the word “masterpiece” one time for a comeback. This is the second time I have used it. This comeback is a masterpiece. Everything was PERFECT. I don’t think you could have asked for anything better. I’m not a huge fan of IVE, but I have been here since the debut and I haven’t been disappointed yet. There is one question though. Is it too early to say SOTY?

I have always got the vibe that IVE has these very Mean Girls/Regina George aesthetic with 'Kitsch' and 'Love Dive' like rich prep school and 'I AM' is a very expensive chic fashionista aesthetic, like I think Versace or Chanel. The vibe that's like "Yeah I can go to Paris anytime I want and I can buy everything I want😏" like them using a black card, I wouldn't be shocked if they actually had one, especially Wonyoung and Yujin for the amount of money they make. They have had trouble in the past, with not precisely letting some of the members shine as much but this song just definitely solidified them as IVE!!🔥I hope to see more comebacks like this, they sound amazing
