  • Low sided at #tailofthedragon a couple weeks back. Definitely learned a lesson that day and realized I need some class time before full sending it again. #kawasakininja#ninjazx4rr#zx4rr#akrapovic

      Thats a common morons mistake.these bikes are ment for track use.on the street you have to be very careful and treat the bike as a touring machine and not as a super bike

    Sorry about your crash. Glad you're okay. You should avoid accelerating while actively leaned over in a turn. You shouldn't be giving it throttle until you have the bike upright and pointing in the desired direction. Accelerating mid-turn can easily cause a low-side crash by breaking the rear tire's traction. The fact that you didn’t low-side sooner tells me the tires were fine.
    Instead, carry more entry speed into the turn, brake harder before the turn to load and settle the suspension, and then trail brake as you tip into the corner. This technique allows you to focus on smooth steering inputs without the acceleration forces upsetting the chassis balance.

    I don't know why guys want to play Isle of Man TT at the tail of the dragon. Too many very tight slow turns that are just an invitation to crash a street bike. The riders that play roadracer there are just an accident waiting to happen. Hope you didn't get hurt and are able to fix your bike quickly. Don't kid yourself about class time. That just gives guys a false sense of security which leads them to think they are safe hauling butt on tight turns. They still crash, and usually at a higher speed than before!

    Looked sketchy before tbh.
    Hard to say anything without seeing your body position and inputs though. Your throttle control is rough, but the crash is most likely the result of multiple factors. Glad you are ok. Bikes can be fixed or replaced.

    I am an old fast local on the dragon and ride with Jr aka Antprilia on UA-cam a lot. It looks like your geometry is off somewhat, looks like your front end was turning in too quick but I may be wrong but if your setup has your front end too low then it will tuck and not hold a line causing loss of traction. It seemed very skittish in turns, hard to tell since I couldn't see where you were on the bike nor see your rider inputs.Get your bike fixed and holler at me and we can work on proper bike setup and your skills too.

      Improper body position and leaning the bike over to far was the main reason
      The bike still had the stock tires on it and I was told by others to get some stickier ones but hadn’t yet, but not blaming the tires
      It was my fault for pushing harder than I should have

    • @mricemantoyou
      @mricemantoyou Місяць тому +3

      My guess, hanging off the bike and turning the bars in... Which loads up the front and once traction starts to go, turns the front in more and control is lost... (lowside).
      Lean with the bike (not off it) and slight countersteer pressure, and ride smoothly... Managed to stay upright for 30 years this way
