I use the Toro Flex Force system as well. I use the attachment capable system for trimming and edging and really enjoy it. I sure don't miss mixing and smelling gas & oil!!!
I have an ego 2.5 amp power battery. The I use on the ego multi tool stick edger and I have a separate ego string trimmer. They both work great! Battery tools are great as far as larger items like cars. I don't think we're there yet.
If you can keep a clean edge, yearly, but if there is a lot of overgrown or you don’t keep it clean (as it can close in a couple weeks), every couple of months. Just keep in mind, how many linear feet your edging, how over grown and how often you use it will all factor. I replace mine at a loss of 1/2” of blade structure normally, but I’ve also done it at almost 1.5” and that was not a good edge (for testing purposes).

That multi attachment system is awesome! And no tuneups either 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I definitely prefer the edger over the string trimmer method. Great review.
Me too, MEEEEE TOO. Lol you must not have patience like I don’t… or a steady hand 😅

Looking great Jeremy! What’s your hoc? Looks pretty low for you 😅
Lol, busted… I am down to 1.5” this season. 😅😅😅
How often do you have to replace the blades when cutting around hard surfaces like concrete?
