When buying at auction for a future Flying Wheels car. First thing is check inventory on what color spray paint you have in stock and purchase based on that. Rule one. Spray it and flip it.
After watching these videos, I would never buy a Flying Wheels vehicle from their lot! They clearly buy crap, slap some touch up paint, clear the codes, and kick that POS down the road! 💩
It’s clear his money is made from UA-cam views, NOT selling cars. His channel is like the home flipping shows, he ALWAYS runs into problems selling his cars. But it’s still entertaining, all about the clicks.
This is what I've been wanting you to come back to on your videos! My dream job is to attend auctions and buy cars for dealers. The cheap junkers are the most fun because you really don't know what you're going to get, and it's always a surprise to see the end result. Late model, common cars around $20k-25k aren't as interesting, but buying what sell is what's important. Like you, I hate when I've bought cheap cars to flip. Marketplace and those that buy cheap cars are just awful to deal with. Keep these coming!
New Hampshire’s state motto is “Live Free or Die “. That’s why nobody is wearing their seatbelts, it’s not required in NH. However, they both have families that depend on them and should wear their seatbelts.
I think Lauren should have Dave or Devon to the auction with her... She does the numbers, and somebody that actually will work on the care can assess the state the car, and see if it's worth buying. You will loose workforce at the shop in the auction days, but the risks will be lower. Buying a few lemons will probably put pressure on the business.
When you said, "How I look at vehicles, how I appraise vehicles and ow I purchase vehicles...", I had a great laugh. My 3-year-old son could throw his apple sauce at a written list of your past purchases and not hit a single good purchase. And now you're passing on your, "Talent". Awesome!!! This aught to be be a fun rollercoaster of show.

The trick is to not bid on anything you haven't prechecked yourself. Don't rely on condition reports. I'm old school. I use a pencil and pad to write down lot numbers, and what my max bid is. I also NEVER bid over my planned max bid. I only sell two or three cars though, so I don't HAVE to buy anything to fill a lot.
I don't know why he doesn't send Dave there instead of Lauren... The guy is a mechanic....What the hell does an office clerk/ manager know about buying the RIGHT car
No rigorous inspections for all of New England. All we do in CT is emissions if it rolls in with a snapped frame and still passes your good, 1998 and older is exempt from any testing as well. You can also fail and retest indefinitely, I did that with a few cars that were beaters they would blow up before it was at the point registration would be suspended
So you are saying get there early and use the scanner and clear the codes even if it shows good on the cars you want to bid on so if someone else scans it they are worried.
Just an suggestion if you are constantly auction hunting one of those fairy cheap pocket scanners are well worth the investment into quality jump boxes and pocket scanners
