You’re a great dude we all know this but your honesty is your downfall funny thing to say about a genuine car dealer who I would love to buy a car from and I love your channel love your video’s etc etc etc etc,,
Look at what he did for the sake of $500 dollars he just made a mockery of himself and his fake corvette club
I know you are a very decent fella and if he asked you for $500 you probably gave it to him for him to send it back to you in the future but he is a dork ,,
God bless you and your flying wheels business ,,
How low would he really go to fraud so little doesn’t make sense let him keep it and he can buy a few hamburgers and chips because he could move them like no one on earth,😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Scammers are EVERYWHERE, Do Not let Him get AWAY WITH IT😤
I have been ripped off by so many People in my life, I bought a House for my sister because She kept getting evicted, and She Ripped Me off, for multiple Mortgage Payments, and Then I ended up with less than half the proceeds for the property I put All the money down for in my name.
She Ruined My Credit, and She didn’t Care at All.
I paid A Lawyer and It just cost me more money, He did absolutely nothing for me. But cost me over $10,000!
      Trust No one.
Now I give too those in need, but TRUST NOBODY.
Do not Let This RIP OFF ARTIST GET AWAY WITH STEALING FROM YOU.

I asked if he was worried about being sued. He said that was his his goal. There is no statute of limitations in our state for certain crimes against children so he was hoping the guy would return and try to sue. He said the guy already has convictions in Ohio so it wouldn't be hard to prove. I cheered him on, but I also pointed out that guy looked scary AF. I don't know if I would be taunting him. Yes, the card has to work as intended, chip first and if the chip is damaged after 3 attempts it let's you swipe. Card must be physical unless they are using a phone payment option. You can't pay credit with credit and the actual numbers of the card is what the POS uses to determine whether it's a credit or debit card. Sometimes because of limits set by banks, a debit can be ran as credit to bypass it or the client will have to call the bank. Some electronic banks have limitations like Chime, you can't have automatic payments coming from those accounts, like for a lease, but will allow a service like Netflix.

@@kevinhiggler2896 I wouldn't even give a smart phone with a monthly contract to a teenager, or any "high risk" person who is dependent upon me for their Needs, which I am happy to provide. The Apple Store and Google Play Store require a form of credit on file to be able to download even free apps. They want a simple flip phone, buy minutes pay as you go, fine. Out of your monthly allowance which I tell them that they have to learn how to budget. As long as they are living under my roof, with free room is board, it's my money that I worked Very hard for and they can wait and buy all of their Wants and Wishes when they are paying their own way. My mother was a strict parent when it came to financing our Needs vs Wants. And we had more than enough income; a nice home, neighborhood, good schools, country club membership. Of course she did let us get a Want a few times a year, but she was a stone wall not giving in to our daily whims pestering her. There were a few times when she refused to give in that I absolutely hated her because EVERYONE ELSE'S PARENTS let Them get one, or Do That!!! But now, many decades later, I am at age 71, an aging Boomer, I thank her greatly while I quietly weep inside seeing today's parents not strong enough, getting in more and more debt because they won't say NO, as my mother did a hundred times more than she ever said Yes. 🧓

Yes well it seems you work for the scammers. As you brag about people doing charge backs after they went and bought a product. So you are the scammer. Just like the (I work for a bank person) that kept sending and sending and sending bs to the dealer. The “I work for a bank” people just like you are the ones that make it possible for the scammers to scam in this way. So pat yourself on the back you scammer….excuse me bank worker. I mean that’s not something I would be proud about, helping scammers scam people and then you taking partnership with a scammer to help him/her scam honest small companies. When he literally has everything and you still find a way to make sure the scammer scams the honest small companies. So yea fraud is everywhere and your the main reason that fraud is allowed. As there are millions of charge backs a week and 99% of them are scammers getting the banks help to scam

That being said, as a single father who works 4 jobs, there is nothing that pisses me off quite like being ripped off does. So I feel your pain, and applaud you for calling this scumbag out and presenting clear and damning proof. I think probably had I seen the dude using 3 different lifelines and about a dozen payment methods, I probably would have called the whole thing off (unless it was too late at that point?). Chase bank locally verified that it was good. O. K. So he’s doing the paperwork and Chase called back to say the $35,000.00 check was actually $350.00 check . The buyer altered the check! They followed this up by claiming the radiator was a goner… when in reality it was just a leaking heater core connector. I didn’t bother to tell them that I was a 12 year professional mechanic. Those rotors and pads were well within safe limits, with no abnormal wear patterns. The bearings were loose enough that the damn things rattled when you shook them. When stories are told, I quickly cut it off and say, "none of that matters to me". I have a car. You want the car. I want cash. Bring cash or cashiers/bank check and we'll do business. Actually a $500 loss might be a good thing because now you know the rules with the credit card he could’ve had you run it for three or 4000 and charged it back next time you know the rules you won’t let that happen so this might have been a good $500 lesson… sometimes the money you lose, will make you more down the road in savings

UK here. I don't know if the same thing applies in the US, but over here you can add a clause to a contract stating that the vendor retains ownership of an item until full payment has been received. In that case you'd be able to bring a civil case in court and repo the car.

500.00 for a education like that, was truly worth it. The fact that u informed people about Melvin, is priceless. You will be blessed far beyond that 500.00. And Melvin will live a life of a crook, and eventually suffer. God Bless you and the family that work so hard to do the right thing. Smile Bro☮️

This is one of the oldest tricks in the book. When I was a bartender back in the late 70s early 80s people would come in and do the same stuff with hundred-dollar bills or $20 bills and they would have you so turned around and upside down and after a while of listening to them talk to you about how much money they had given you already and how much change you were supposed to give them back you didn't know if you were coming or going. I remember actually shutting down the bar once, locking it down, and bringing in the general manager. We counted out both register drawers twice and after concluding that he was the scammer of the day, that SOB was declaring that we had taken his money all the way out the door as we kicked them out into the parking lot. They have great giant brass cojones.

Usually multiple forms of payments means they either don’t have the money or they really don’t have the money! I would’ve called the deal off. As for Melvin, he talks too much BS. That’s a big red flag. Overall thanks for sharing. Great vid. Let’s get these scammers exposed!!!

Agreed..talkers, they think they can outsmart and control the situation and you...with their charimatic hype. They were always the cool polished charismatic talkers in school like George Bush but were C and D below average students....they leveraged their voice and aggressive stay and be on top of the conversation. Don't you think? right? am I right? Vocally Flowcharting you into their trap. Manipulation at its finest.

During my years as landlord, I ran across many just like this man, Melvin. All talked about church, God and what a great, fair landlord I was. Later I found out that there was actually a local church that was teaching classes on how to scam landlords, car dealers and others out of money. They viewed all of us as crooks and it was fair game to stick it to us any way they could. They knew landlord/tenant claims would only be in civil court, NOT CRIMNAL court. So, all they had to lose was me winning a civil judgement that would be almost impossible to collect anyway. I could never understand about the criminal vs civil laws. You buy gas for your car, drove off without paying, it's criminal and you can go to jail for $20 dollars, go into a grocery store, eat $10 of food, don't pay, it's criminal and off to jail you go, scam a landlord out of a month, two, three months of rent, $$$ thousands of dollars in lost rent and or damage to my property and guess what?, it's civil, NO CRIMNAL CHARGES AT ALL can be filed. I'm retired now for the most part, but dealing with people like this changed me, and not for the good either. It broke my heart and has left me with no faith in my fellow man. I've lost thousands of dollars by trying to help people who I believed was in need, only to see later, it was a con from day one. You just cannot trust or believe anyone in this world of ours.

That's because gasoline and food are all products being sold outright for money. Something of value, something that took labor to produce, was exchanged for currency. Rent-seeking behavior, on the other hand, is not valuable and no actual product has changed ownership *nor* has any service been rendered that required labor to produce. You are hoarding something of limited supply and renting it back out to the people who actually need it to stay alive. You are not "providing housing" any more than a scalper provides tickets. The mere existence of your class is what prevents people from being able to buy houses outright. Just be lucky we didn't ship all landlords to a prison colony and see how long your "valuable contributions" could sustain your society. 😂
