Nice video !!! I found that the ninco 70 ohm from pro tinker work great with all my cars !!! Tyco , afx, bulldog ,, wzard ,, autoworld ,,, and only 12 bucks !!! Just have to splice afx adapter on them to connect to track
Original Russkit controller with brakes had a purple, flat, 3 wire lead as it was sold. Makes it easy to identify in online pictures. Don't recall any sets including them. May have been though. As a note "brakes" only really work on cars without traction magnets like T-Jets and old AFX. Now that Parma is gone these old AFX controllers are nice to have. Can't just go buy a $20 econo controller anymore. 45 ohm AFX is well suited to most stock and mild build cars we run at home.
Great show Dan. Been using 70s vintage Parma controllers which still work just fine. After seeing this, think I need to acquire a couple of the Aurora Control Plus.
@@slotvalleyracing awesome. I've been doing some research about to get back into the hobby with my kids. Your channel is one of the main ones I watch thanks for the info and the Speedy reply

I have 4 of them. I agree they are great controller's for the money . I paid 25 plus shipping for them about 5 years ago
I really liked using it!
Now sometime has passed are you still using these? How have they held up? Budget minded these seem like one of the best choices
Still one of my favorite. And for it's age... It's a big time winner. 1974 wow
