That's so cool!!!!

So here's a kind of heads up for anyone interested. Have seen the new releases of HO slotcars from Autoworld show up on eBay twice now. Specifically referring to the flamed Blazer. First about a week ago, pre orders. I think it was 10 available. First to put it on my watch list. Sold out in a few hours. Yesterday a different seller with 8 in stock sold out in a few hours. Those would cost someone in the USA about $35 total delivered. Almost bought one but I didn't. Reasoning is this; I'm really not a "collector" and a '79 Blazer is by no means something that would perform well on the track. The paint job is pretty cool but it's almost guaranteed it'll have obvious flaws. I do sell slots fairly often but the price I would have to get in order to make anything at all on eBay would be ridiculous. Reminds me of the Candy Striper '55 Chevy. I bought and sold a few of those but what I bought came from Hobby Lobby and cost $21 each total. Still the resale price was higher than what I would ever pay for an AW slot. Buyers were all happy though. You can expect to see these new Blazers to start showing up on eBay at high prices probably in a couple days now. They aren't exclusives in any way so my advice would be to get from a Hobby Lobby if you can or there is at least one seller on eBay that will likely have them one or two at a time here and there at just a few dollars more than HL. Theres some pretty cool T Jets in the new releases too. I honestly can't see paying $35 for any of it considering the sketchy quality and what that CAN buy elsewhere but we don't all have the same considerations. Believe me I do sometimes PAY for things I like that are out of production and well made. Just paid $35 for the first release from AW of the '71 Camaro White/Orange. Body in nice condition but the chassis not at all. Junk. But these are ALL relatively low price slots.

Enjoyed the show, i agree about the HO offerings. Same old cars AW keeps spitting out with new liveries. Enough already and give us some older body styles or maybe something new. Also, the prices are ridiculous as compared to the value of 1/32

Nothing wrong with an auction. Wish people could put their differences aside for the sake of the hobby. Ive seen animosity on other channels i do not agree with. DIGITAL H.O. IS REALLY COOL. another great option......

Nice pick ups! the vette is sweet and the new revo cars are cool they look tiny too! The case things are neat but I would be scared they keep pressure on the car and could make the bodies get warped staying in them for a long time. I just ordered those BTO press on wheels for the AW Xtractions because I been getting some new ones and you guessed it the wheels are warped and bad! You ever use the BTO wheels on any HO cars I have in the past and they been true and made the cars run nice,

ACTUAL CONTENT while the other "popular" utube channel really does nothing but sell common dirt cheap slotcars for high prices. "Congratulations on your win". "Don't worry I'll have more, I'm always on the lookout for these". On the other hand Dan has always been putting out useful content. "Hobbies" are much more than buying and selling. I'd like to add that there is only one Bible and it has nothing to do with Tyco!

Nice! I wonder if you can put more voltage into that carrera powerbase? I tested the arc air unit and it says 15V I run it on 18V no problem even tried 20V on the first version one I have the arc one. so I can run all the scales because I can use all different voltages with it. Stinks testing because you don't know if something will blow out but I am happy I did now because I can race the 1/24 and ho cars also now with the scalextric arc air system. maybe ask around if anyone ever tried more voltage with that carrera base or is there any way to gain more voltage to the cars from it?

I mostly agree with you about each chassis . . . I have a few X-tractions mainly because I like the Nascar bodies . . . You're right about the springs . . . last night I was working one of the X-traction chassis and a pick-up shoe came off and the spring went flying . . . I have a shag rug so my vac will end up eating it . . . but I had a pit kit so everything was cool . . . and I enjoy maintaining my cars anyways . . . It's fun cleaning and working on them for best performance . . . I understand a lot of racers don't . . . thanks for all your videos . . . always enjoy them! . . . 😁
