@@marksslotcargarage thanks Mark is that a viper track that you have? If so how do you like it and do you run magnet cars on it like Neo magnet? Thanks.
Yes it is a Viper track, I love it. I can run up to level 35 Neo traction with Pro 10 motor magnets, that's as high as i will go, I don't have my rails fully glued down, anything stronger like level 52 Neo would pull my rails up. I have been thinking about gluing the rail in the near future.
@@marksslotcargarage thanks Mark for the feedback about your track. Was it your decision to install the rails as opposed to having Viper install them for you. And wow, those 52 level Neo magnets must be crazy strong.
@@ViperMike-c2r I saved a lot doing the rails myself and I wanted the longest possible continuous rails sections as possible. If Viper did the rails I would have had a lot more sections to jumper together.
Thanks for covering this topic Mark I think it's often overlooked by content creators and really hard for those getting into the hobby to decide on it's nice to see all the hardware in one video .
I don't personally like the Professor Motor controllers. I've used a 35 and a 42 Ohm and they were both super touchy. I have the Difalco DD500 and love it. It even works really good on my commercial 1/24 scale stuff. Thanks for the tip on TruSpeed, they were not on my radar before. For $90 I think I'd like to try one out.
Thanks for checking out my video, I really like my Difalco DD502 but the coast feature on my new OS3 All Pro is something I am learning to like. I was surprised how well I did with the TruSpeed when I got some laps in with it.
I run the professor motor controllers on my road course… I have so many mods done to them I hate to change them lmao 🤣… I installed sensitivity knob … it’s wired for full power relay and 8 position choke
The os3 would be a great replacement for your stock home track where the higher priced controler would be used for club racing or on comercial tracks, thanks mark
Enjoyed your comparison my friend. What I like about Defalco, easier to gets parts and work on them. The TruSpeed BPII looks interesting, but I wonder about repair parts and cost of shipping? I got 4 Defalco DD500's with handles in lane colors for my track. Get you a DD531 Genesis HD30 controller. Electronic traction control/choke feature with on/off relay switch added to our DD521 model. That would be a better heads-up comparison to the OS3 Pro.
Thanks! Yeah I have 4 DiFalco DD505's as my house controller, they work perfectly fine for what I need. Shipping on the TruSpeed is $24 to Florida, puts the total at $113. It's still a pretty good deal considering the features you get.

Ive got an os3 lite on the way. Its to replace the terrible carerra go plunger controllers. Hopefully mine dosent squeak
I know several guys with the OS3 Lite, they all love them. If it does squeak a little contact lube solves the problem. Thanks!
Great controllers. Do you know what kind of Lizard?
Thanks Dan, it was one of the flat Gecko type lizards....lol
Thanks Matt.

That does sound like a lot of mods, I don't blame you.

Nice Video. I love the Harry Potter cars!
Thanks Matt, the only problem with the Harry Potter cars is they don't fit under my timing bridge...lol

Hi there, got the DS I'll use it for awhile. Save for a DeFalco later 🥸
Yeah the DS is good but when I switched to the Difalco I was surprised how much better it was for me over the DS controllers.
