Hi. Thank you for posting all of this valuable information for anybody that is going through autoimmune hepatitis. Like you, I am going on 2 1/2 years and it’s been rough. I was unable to take Azathioprine. I would get violently ill within one hour of taking it. We tried several times. I recently started mycophenalate. I did have some nausea and G.I. symptoms, pain, but my body adjusted within 10 days. I was so depressed. Finally, the symptoms went away and now I am on this just about a month now. I am hoping to get in remission, it’s been a long journey. I appreciate you explaining everything you went through Because it’s exactly what I went through. Appreciate these videos. I have not found any support groups, if you could recommend any, I would appreciate that as well. Thank you again, these UA-cam videos are what’s getting me through right now.❤ Kathy
@@kathyrandazzo4428 hi Kathy, hoping you get well soon and have a speedy recovery ❤️ I’m so glad my videos have helped! I joined a Facebook group when I was first released from the hospital that you could try. Sending you well wishes
Thank you for this update. I am in the process of getting a diagnosis. My biopsy is scheduled in 2 weeeks. I am hoping that treatments will work well for me. May you continue to be healthy.
Thank you for telling us about hair loss. I struggled with that, despite being a man 😂, and found baby shampoo the best for me. Makes me feel better knowing that I wasn't going bald. Thank you for your video, this has been helpful.
Thank you for sharing. I am in my 9th month of AIH diagnosis. I also have fatigue and tremors known as FND. It’s seemed to come along when I got sick. Things are slowly getting better. Really appreciate the update and the support. Your hair looks fabulous! 😊
Thank you queen for sharing this information :) you made me feel better, also, do you also need to hide from the sun? :0 because I heard that we AIH patients needs to be extra careful with exposing to sunlight
Haven’t drank alcohol in 7 years and been off immune suppressants for over 2 and half years. My dr doesn’t put me on Aza or steroids right away if my liver enzymes go up no more then double. It could be a supplement or virus so he waits. My enzymes were over 1500 7 years ago. 🤦♀️. I was on 25 Aza lowest mg. Thanks for your video. 😊. Do you have fibrosis or anything? Best of luck !!! Live your best life !!
Hi! I have AIH and I’m just not happy with my specialist. Which hospital do you go to for your specialist? Who do you recommend for your specialist. I’m literally stuck and have difficulty reaching my own specialist
I don’t think so! But I was also crying every day, hang in there❤️ I had a different issue where my eyelashes were just weak so I’d recommend a good eyelash serum, and rosemary oil for hair growth!

You will do just fine during the biopsy. I just had one and I was afraid. It was not bad at all. I wish the best of luck.

You should totally be wearing sunscreen if you’re taking azathioprine :)
@@KCD14 but normally wearing sunscreen would be enough? Or how's that been working for you? :)
@@mimamaestupapa5846 yes, I just make sure to reapply more often and even wear in the winter too!

Great to see you.. Can you elaborate about workout🏋🚴💪?
I work out consistently multiple times a week including cardio/running, and weight lifting/training. I do high intensity work outs without issue
@@KCD14 thanks 🙂
During ur treatment, was your jaundice especially unconjugated normal or it was slightly higher
Did ur eyelashes fall out too? I don't know if it's just because of crying everyday but I'm shedding eyelashes and hair so bad

@@KCD14Thanks so much. Do u have any recommendations for lash serums?
@@ryleyaumock I like the ordinary peptide one!
Which type autoimmune hepatits you have
Do you have high blood sugars as a consequence of taking steroids?
I did not when I was on it and still don’t
