I can guarantee I could do this drill with my eyes closed , put a ball there and I will go back to my old swing no matter how hard I try
Thanks Andy keep the tips coming. They are a good reminder for us all 😊
Bryson has a similar drill where you just draw lines in a bunker and hit that 10 times in a row. Same principle but maybe a little less faffing around with tees.
Very well done Andy, your interpretation of Danny’s lesson is right on. Thank you
Important tip. Thank you for the visual demonstration. I read about it more often than it is demonstrated. Your video clears that up, and it is a nice practice drill.
U r right Andy, Danny Maude is up there but your interpretation is better as most of is have access to grass
@@johnnewman7605 oh cheers John
Great reminder andy. Can't see the link in the description but sure we can find the video on Danny's channel. Another idea for similar effect, maybe good for on a mat, is set up to the ball, move the ball 2-3 inches ahead of you (but leave club where you addressed originally) then swing, aiming to still hit the ball - makes you shift and ensures low point is further on.
So true! I get my best golf tips from Danny Maude, he is fantastic as a teacher.
I agree Andy! Im halfway across the world from you and my wishlist is to meet you and Danny!
Very well done. I loved it. Maybe I'll use some unbreakable tees though.
Why not place a wooden tee 4" lying flat in front of the ball? Strike the ball correctly tee gone.
Makes a lot of sense what your saying Andy, thanks for great tips
Very important instruction for me
Danny is the best on the net.
This a very pragmatic approach. It's what I'm trying to persuade myself to do, but practice on a mat does not work for this. So, yes I'll find a quiet corner either in the garden or at the practice ground and try this out. Clearly this has got to be on grass and not a mat.
You can do it on a mat, Bryson DeChambeau has a similar video where he uses tape on a mat.
@@harryatkinson9757 I lack the skills of Mr. Dechambeau and taking divots out of a mat has so far been difficult for me, as for most players.
