I enjoyed seeing the Lemonheads in the 90s with John Strohm playing second guitar. He added a lot to the live sound. But holy shit, Chris Brokaw really adds a ton of depth to the sound. It’s nice to hear these songs and they sound fresh.
Great live footage - we saw the show in Chapel Hill at the Cat's Cradle on 6/9/19 - great to see them mix things up a little! Noticed there was no acoustic set --- Love the set list for this show: 1. It's About Time 2. Hospital 3. Dawn Can't Decide 4. Break Me 5. My Drug Buddy 6. Speed of the Sound of Loneliness 7. The Turnpike Down 8. Great Big No 9. Rudderless 10. Abandoned 11. Bit Part 12. Tenderfoot 13. Straight To You 14. My Idea 15. It's A Shame About Ray 16. Big Gay Heart 17. Hannah & Gabi 18. I Just Can't Take It Anymore 19. Different Drum 20. Stove 21. Down About it Encore: 22. Style 23. Old Man Blank
There some kind of truth hidden not only in his words, but also in his all approach to music. He is the only musician that lives in a trailar. I think this is why it takes him so much time to publish another solo album. God bless him

I saw them in the UK on this tour, had the pleasure of meeting the drummer at a bar after the show, we knew mutual people in Scotland. The reason for my comment was that the band where wearing the same clothes in Newcastle (Wylam Brewery) All of them, same shirts....granted Evan necked half a bottle of Maker's Mark and they played more from Varshions 2, but other than that it's identical...
Great, great band-completely under-rated as both a band and Evan as a songwriter. However, it's sad to see him here-it appears years of partying have really caught up to him-his once vibrant face is completely faded as of now.
The world needs Evan Dando more than ever, lyrical genius! 🤘🎸
Evan Dando is a Beatle not recognized. Brazil loves Lemonheads!
Evan may be a total stoner but I've never seen anyone else ever tune a guitar and sing at the same time. That is some serious dexterity.

I can't believe he didn't play a single song from the 2006 Lemonheads album. That's a strong record.
Lemonheads live, decent mix, doesn't get much better for me.

Dando lives in a trailer?! I didn't know he was struggling financially...
Beautiful show... Please, come to Brazil!

Thank you for posting. Such a great show!
I so wish you would see the light man.. love you bro.🕯
Please, come to brazil...
There's a brazilian agency called Balaclava Records, they could help this happen!
OMG. I thought I was the only Brazilian who liked them. hahaha
Love 48:35 ! Thank you so much for posting

So good.
I don’t know who his drummer is these days, but he’s freaking great.
Lee Falco is the drummer these days....he also appears on the latest LP, Varshons II
plantingseedsrecords cool. I think this lineup could be one of his best.. That’s awfully neat to see after playing 30+ years.
Lee Falco from THE RESTLESS AGE
I love how Dando shows his appreciation for Falco's drumming at 6:52...
The young man played with Donald Fagen. Percussion skills to the hilt.
Oh hey, I was at this show. Even shot a little video for myself.
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU MARKIT!
Awesome but I just wish he would play Sad Girl again live.
Superb, thank u man! Cheers from Berlin.
Yes!! Top form baby!!
Please, please write a new album...
Call up Tom Morgan I am sure he has some gems for you
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Top
Chris Brokaw 🖤
so good!
Thank you!
The ceiling must have been so interesting. Did he ever look at the audience?
ok...he is still alive
! :-)
SUNSHINE!!!!!!!
Come to Argentina!

love his voice!!!!!!!!! This band is before Weezer, just so you all know.
LoL So, what's the point of your comment? Lemonheads were out in the '80s. Were you even alive then? LoL
@@1madmaxx80 yeah duh, I just meant that some folks don't know that. was born in 1978. Are you always a douche? lmao, just kidding.
Evanʻs eyes are flat-out haunted. Breaks my fucking heart.
Evan Dandoesque:)It's there...
35:55 A lil' Nick Cave
every time some one asks me who my favorite band is....
That's Chris Brokaw on second guitar, isn't it??
yes
Please set list!!
set list please.
I love 1st and 2nd song.
Name of the song from 1:10:40
"Old Man Blank" from Varshons II (not a Lemonheads song)
who is their lead guitarist? he play perfectly smooth
Chris Brokaw from Codeine and Come, unbelievable musician. I believe he co-wrote some stuff on Dando’s solo record!!
Can you tell us the model of camera used to record this. Looks awesome! Sounds great too.
@@markitaneight Nice taste in microphones. I prefer the MK4's, but at bigger venues the 41's are nice to cut out some of big, auditorium sound.
40:23
Are the crowd sleeping during this fantastic show?
always sounds better with a second guitarist
Not bad but not the top-ist of top notches; it had it's moments of stupidity.
I think Evan would rather be back at the crack house.
