This video was a week after the fridge was repaired (second time). BCF were champions, they sorted me out by returning the Waeco fridge and then I took my mates advice and purchased an Engel.
BCF have just told me that I need to take it to a repairer myself... I’ve had the same thing were it went to -22 while I was camping one Easter. Found it before it froze everything. My issue now, it will not restart with the input voltage below about 12.1v despite the monitor being on Lo. If it’s now repaired or replaced this time - I will never own another Waeco product again and Engel will get my money.
Your mates correct…get an Engel. My CFX65 froze everything. Turned out to be the thermistor. I’ve replaced it and works fine now, but I’ll never get a Waeco/Dometic again. Their after sales service is hopeless.
Ok to all the stupid comments from the Engel guys is not solving the problem yes it’s the PCB board but if you keep power to it and turn it on and off from the fridge panel it will hold the memory as soon as you unplug it from the 12v source you will find it will set to -22 to replace a PCB board it’s easy cost about $100 and change the next thing these fridges do not like the voltage dipping under 12v even if you have it set on low battery use Before the comments roll in from the Engel lovers about $100 for a PCB board that I can fix myself without a repair guys costs on top also I pay under $20 for a replacement 12v lead you guys pay min $75
Dude its in a Waeco official bag with mesh on the vents. For the week it was sitting on a stand and not in the car doing the same thing. It went into a service centre and they validated it was a faulty logic board. Obtained full credit and got a Engel

you block all the ventilation holes for the compressor heat to escape and somehow expect it to work ? You do know to co0l it has to vent heat?
